DRM was never the cause, they probably rationalize as "why should they pay full price for a game made on a low budget?". Big budget games get pirated more simply because there's more exposure and demand for them.
You should move to my neighborhood then, taking out the trash it's an epic ordeal filled peril.
A peril filled with epic ordeal?
Remind me not to type in a rush and proofread everything, will ya?
Seriously though, do we really want sidequest to be real or mission related such as working the logistics of it beforehand. Although I'm partial to the idea having to stake out a place before breaking into it.
Subconscious fear that they will turn to cheap, mass produced mainstream console games
And Oedipus complex, you gotta throw that in there just in case.
I think that part of the problem; at least on Blizzard's case, is managing. They have the numbers to deliver on schedule but it's harder to keep overview on every aspect, so I don't think that it will have major flaws but I do expect a fair amount of bugs. Unless they try to do something risky, then there will be delays followed by a horrible release.
I don't see what you mean, DE:HR had black and white options. It's just that they were presented as Corporate interest's vs the Little Guy. They are only grey if you don't view corporations as evil, which I do

Looks like EA it's making BW the new social experience, in your face people who said that the future in "The Gamer" wasn't going to happen.

Comparing Guy's Ritchie Holmes to the rest I gotta say that it's the most "real" one. Most of the movies don't delve into the darker aspects of Holmes; of which he had plenty (specially when A. Doyle tried to destroy the character) The characters are not only human but interesting.
Yet sadly with corporations monopolizing the game your only hope is to be absorbed by them and serve the interests of the chairmen. Let's face it gentlemen there is no more room at the top and they are hurting us in order to keep themselves on it.
That's ruined by selective a spell as left hand. I had it working completely. I could clear everything and still have the dual daggers come back.
You could add your left hand weapon to your favorites.
Any better suggestions?
yeah. Actually help someone affected by the crisis. Either yourself, or someone made redundant, or trying to find work. Start a goddamn business. Work in a soup kitchen. Going on a little ****ing camping trip downtown is pointless unless you have some outcome in mind.
Wals as usual you assume there is rationality in the most unlikely of places: the brains of simple men. They're desperate and throwing a tantrum against their government and actively opposing any form of organization or anything that may define them as; what they perceive to be, a corporation. Because then their cause would not be "pure".
That's nostalgia talk, I doubt we will have another FF 6-9 because times simply have changed. The FF series has been one of the strongest to live up to this day, the fact that they kept reinventing their mechanics is probably one of the causes. I have some faith that they won't stray too far away from the strategic combat that they are known for just that now instead of pausing (or not) and selecting an option you probably can mash a buttons to attack.
Quite frankly I feel that this is much ado about nothing.
Same here; a dog tripped the car alarm, my neighbor said goodbye to her boyfriend at 1:00 and when I did finally fell asleep I kept dreaming I had insomnia. Not kidding.
Or it could come up like a great Japanese action-RPG like the Tales series, or Radiata Stories, or Drakengard, or the Secret of Mana series. Yep, Japan isn't known for making Action-RPGs, you're totally right.
