I'm hoping for ragdoll physics. That would be the only thing that could interest me in using magic: set of a fireball in the middle of a crowd and watch the bodies flying. Maybe this game isn't for me..

I agree. I'm not overly fond of turn based combat, but if it's well done (like in Silent Storm or Jagged Alliance 2) I can live with it. BUT.. I hate when games have a lot of magic. Magic sucks, it's the weakest excuse ever in story telling. Give me viable melee alternatives and I might be able to play this game too. And why would giving melee fighters combat alternatives turn this game into World of Warcraft? This is why I hate old school dinosaurs. They're afraid of change. ANY change. Still stuck in their rose tinted memories of Planescape: Torment from decades ago. The entire WoW argument is so stupid it's sickening. And why did you have to make YET ANOTHER MAGICAL FANTASY GAME?? Sigh.

At least the Swedish Elitserien started on time and my favourite team scored its first victory! Who needs the crappy NHL?!

I believe War Z was in development before DayZ was even out. Not sure what the birth date of either was - but WarZ at E3 mentioned that it was happy Day Z confirmed that the game they were building had a fan base already. Not quite true. This has been debunked several times. I just want working versions of the Daggerfall series spin-offs. They are difficult as hell to get working with 3DFX support on modern systems. Preferably Redguard but I wouldn't mind Battlespire too. I have a feeling I wrote this exact same post in the other thread too..

So I guess there will be no hockey this autumn.. again. Only two weeks left to solve this BS. Why is it that the richest hockey league in the world does this so often? It has NEVER happened in Swedish hockey, for example. The greed on both sides is nauseating. I wish hockey fans would boycott this entire sport for a 5 year period, to make them (both players and owners) understand WHO they are playing for. To show them that the money is not just there for the plucking and to fight for every ****ing time there's a new CBA to be negotiated. But hey.. I'm a Leafs fan.
