  1. Ever heard the expression "Don't judge a book by its cover"..? It has a deeper meaning. Search for it!
  2. I voted for "Other". All I want in my PC version is mouse-look. Is that too much to ask?!
  3. I thought the girl looked very pretty..
  4. Another new RPG under development. This time in Poland and the game is called Soul Quest (working title) It's supposed to be a "turn-based RPG with six races, hundreds of NPCs and lots of items to collect". Some screenshots: http://www.gamershell.com/pc/soul_quest/screenshots.html
  5. 10/10Mbit up/down for 33.98
  6. Help, help, this thread is so flame-friendly my monitor caught fire!
  7. http://www.dungeonlordsgame.com/ Basically it's a RPG using 3D third person perspective and realtime combat in an open-ended world (bigger than Gothic 2, smaller than Morrowind). The graphics are nice and it seems to have some great character development and customization. http://static.filefront.com/images/thqqhcuctu.jpg (Hope the second link works. If it doesn't, it's just a link to a picture showing off a character screen..)
  8. By the way, one of the main reasons I'm interested in Dungeon Lords (besides the pretty graphics, third person perspective and D.W. Bradley) is that they've promised co-op for up to 4 people from the beginning. Not like STALKER, where they promise co-op early on and then cut it out 2 months from release. That sucks.
  9. I want exploration in every game I play, and KotOR had none of that. I love to walk around and explore and solve problems in my own pace. The best thing is when the world designers have been busy and have hidden a lot of stuff especially for thorough explorers like myself. I don't think many people found the hollow river stone in Gothic, for example.. (/brag)
  10. 3D is an educated guess since there are almost no isometric games being produced anymore. At least not among the large, well-known titles.
  11. I think it will be incredibly difficult to redefine anything in a sequel to a well-known game based on a well-known universe. I don't doubt that Obsidian has the talent to redefine the genre, but I highly doubt that's what they set out to do with KotOR2.
  12. I've used 1280x1024 on all my games recently as it seems my Radeon 9800 Pro can handle it. Well, except for Doom 3 where I had to use 1024x768 to get playable fps.. And it wasn't even good-looking!
  13. I love co-op, as it has made REALLY mediocre games (Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance) fun to play. In the last year, I've seen a slight increase in games that has built-in co-op.. The only problem is that none of those games were the top titles (like Doom 3 or Far Cry) so it might not have as much of an impact as one would like. There are definitely not enough RPG's using co-op. Sacred is a shining exception, but that co-op is so buggy it's almost impossible to play anyhow.
  14. Why doesn't anyone ever make that tiny training droid Luke used in.. uh.. Episode 5 (I think it was.. he was in a swamp..) an option? It's small, spherical and tries to stay alive while you hit it with your light sabre. Lovely!
  15. Hahaha, this is probably the most ironic thing I've read on these board so far.. Volourn calling someone else the least objective person on the net. Geez.. You really need someone to hammer the meaning of the words "self insight" into your skull.
  16. Actually, you did. When you post on a forum you're basically asking for anyone's and everyone's opinion. If you want more privacy, use ICQ/MSN/AIM. Freak.
  17. Just because a game is huge, doesn't mean it has to be empty. Gothic 2 is both huge and full of living things and stuff to see and do. It also has well-developed characters and great quests. And one of the best things about Gothic 2 is that you're able to explore the entire island right off the bat, even when it means you can stumble into a dragon at level 1. I am hoping Obsidian at least makes Neverwinter Nights 2 somewhat like that, since they've already stated KotOR2 will have approximately the same map sizes as the first part. I don't understand people who says stuff like "what's the point of wandering around aimlessly?".. What do you want? A corridor? It's called exploring.
  18. Why are you writing about things you don't like in a thread about what people thought gave KotOR so much personality? I thought KotOR got its personality from the Star Wars universe.. It's a well thought out universe that contains lots of easily likeable characters, races and locations. Of course, the plot twist wasn't bad either..
  19. Nice work. Unfortunately I hate signature pictures so I can't use any of them. Besides.. How is it possible to make a Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines banner without having at least one pair of gigantic boobs in them somewhere?!
  20. I once went fishing in my father's home-village way up north in Sweden. On our way home Mats Sundin drove by in an expensive car and offered us a lift, but he only had room for my sister.. So I'm famous for being ditched by a hockey superstar. (Mats Sundin usually comes by this village every summer for its fishing waters)
  21. Good article. I just don't understand one thing: why didn't he write it here? It would have made a great post.
  22. Was that recently? Because I've always wondered what he's doing nowadays..
  23. 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite Blues - Under Ytan Cypress Hill - What's Your Number Teddybears STHLM - Hey Boy Nina Kinert - Heartbreaktown ..and lots of Lisa Miskovsky is what's occupying the playlist in my CoolPlayer.
  24. I once started a thread IN WHICH FEARGUS HIMSELF POSTED!! Bow down and kiss my toes, you unworthy board members. (also, my girlfriend's classmate once got a call from Pierce Brosnan, because her father works in television and Pierce had gotten the wrong number)
