PS3 may not play used PS3 games...
http://news.spong.com/detail/news.asp?prid=9308 I wouldn't trust Spong with my filthy underwear, but I still bet it's true. I didn't bother checking the facts since I never believed this moronic rumour anyhow. I bet it was started by www.xboxfanbois4life.com or something. Playstation 3 will play 'used' games.

Jade Empire sequel confirmed
At least it's not in the 99:- range of games yet.. Like Morrowind GOTY.. or the new Bard's Tale )

Jade Empire sequel confirmed
I still wonder why it ended up in the 299:- range of games after only a few weeks in Sweden. I have a feeling they bought like 1000 copies and thought it would sell like water in Sahara.

Most difficult game you have ever played
I was getting nostalgic when thinking about Bard's Tale 3: Thief of Fate and looked up what I could find about it on the net. Apparently there are a few exploits and shortcuts to take that I never knew about. Aahh, the power of the internet. But still.. Anyone who don't believe the game was difficult should take a look at a walkthrough for the game: http://home.student.uva.nl/michael.saltzherr/b/bard3.htm It's insane! It's been a looooong time since I played anything even near as difficult as this game..

PS3 or XBOX 360
I'm undecided. I really want to be able to play my favourite PS2 ttles (I have a lot of those nowadays) and the Blu-Ray player would be an awfully nice feature to have in my living room. I do, however, like the Xbox connectivity and I'm disappointed that Sony once again leaves the online part to the developers. It didn't quite work for the PS2 and I see no reason why it would be better on the PS3, except for the fact that the PS3 at least comes with pre-installed network capabilities. I've never liked Nintendo, but they're really making a strong case for themselves. I was having the best time of my life in gaming when graphics looked like something you'd find in your navel, so the new graphical advantage of the PS3/Xbox 360 doesn't excite me at all. Nintendo seems to be the only company that are serious about wanting to invent, to develop, to offer the players something new. If the controller works out and the machine is a good one, if Nintendo's online plan works and all those games they claim it will be able to play actually are playable, then the Revolution looks like a good contender. I've always wanted to play Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.. I am guessing that if I'll buy a machine it'll be after all three are released so I can compare them to each other and weigh their pro's and con's then. Right now it's too difficult, as the Xbox 360 is shining too brightly with its impending release where the others haven't even showed their final design.

NHL is back
Got to love this Avery guy: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=143159&hubname=nhl In Sweden, freedom of speech doesn't apply to hockey teams, as the coach decides which players are allowed to voice their opinions. Maybe LA would be better off trying that approach with this guy. Oh, and the Leafs win against Rangers!! Woowoo!

Most difficult game you have ever played
The most difficult game I ever played was Bard's Tale 3 for the Commodore 64. It combines insanely difficult puzzles with sickeningly obscure riddles and near impossible battles. Also, it had no automap so you had to map the large levels by hand, and sometimes the answer to a puzzle would lie in the actual map that you, yourself drew. You really had to be on your toes the entire time when you played that game. Nowadays it wouldn't be as difficult since we now have the internet with all the walkthroughs and whatnot.

NHL is back
Yeah, well, tough luck. You like wrestling. I'm sorry the NHL doesn't have any chairs to throw on the ice or fake blood to drool on yourself, but that's just the way it is.

NHL is back
I don't dare predict anything about the scoring title or Richard trophy. But I really hope that the referees straighten out their inconsistency and still manages to keep the strict interpretation of the rules all season long. And in the play-offs (even though I have no idea what will happen then). If teams learn to play without drawing 10+ penalties every game, then reaching 150+ will be very difficult. If this style of play keeps up then I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Heatley could break that barrier. I would love to see those kinds of numbers again. I mean.. Gretzky.. 200+ points..

360 games even more expensive than Xbox ones
Yup! And the best part was that everything except buildings were sprites, and you could walk right through them!! Well, almost everything.

360 games even more expensive than Xbox ones
? LOL, far as graphics go, yup it was, far as story goes, yup it was. Hell some of those first creatures you meet just outside of port town look comparable to some old EGA graphic games! Whole game looked like a early FPS to me to be honest. Whats so special about it that you think it wasnt doable at 96? I just dont follow Im afraid. Where talking Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think your memory might be fooling you. Let's compare! Daggerfall (Elder Scrolls 2) came out in 1996: Morrowind (Elder Scrolls 3) came out in 2002: There's just no way they could have done Morrowind's graphics in 1996.

Seriously. I think I'll report you all for spamming. I hate clicking on a thread called Deus Ex, only to find page after page of humourless one-word posts, or even worse: one-smiley posts.

Brian D. Lawson interview about NWN 2 and stuff
This sounds a lot like the new Matrix game: you actually get to choose between the red and the blue pill, and if you take the pill that returns you to the fake world, the game just ends. I thought that was pretty funny.
