I go to a gym three times a week, I play hockey during winters, beachvolley during summers and winters (inside). Whenever I want to go somewhere I ride my bike, no matter the distance (within reason). I'm not that interested in food, but my girlfriend keeps me healthy enough.

I'm beginning to like that Ken Levine dude after reading the article from Llyranor's post.

I don't think Take Two is a bad choice if you're going to go with a publisher. I mean, they let Rockstar do whatever they want with the GTA series, the Warriors and that lame title.. Manhunt, was it? Just be glad it wasn't EA!

More likely been desensitised at least to computer violence. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please oh please tell me that that is a joke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=...ine-news_rss091 Not a joke.

Bad imagination and a bitter old school gamer.
-
Wrong. As much as I liked Wasteland back in the days when all computer games looked like Wasteland, the only reason I still like it is nostalgia (rose coloured glasses and all that). I am fully aware that today's gamer expects a whole lot more than Wasteland has to offer, even though it has a great story and setting, and I like it more as a memory than as a game. The current generation of gamers do not have less imagination than us old school gamers, they just have better technology and more advanced games (technology wise, not gameplay wise). It is still possible to play crappy games using your own imagination, but why bother?

You mean like your masturbation object numero uno for the last months, Jade Empire..? You shouldn't laugh. You should get your paper towels in order instead.
-
Yup. All Diamond needs are two dice, his own imagination and a box of paper towels and he can play with himself all day long. The rest of us prefer a well told story through one of the most powerful media there is: computer games.

I pre-ordered Dungeon Lords, better known as Dung Lords..

The weird thing about those driver issues you mention above is that they've only affected me while I was using Nvidia. I once had to rollback to 30.xx just to get my computer working again! Same thing happened to one of my friends when I installed his new GPU. After that I switched to ATI and the only problem I've had after that is that shadows in Battlefield 2 look.. odd. I'll switch to Nvidia again when I upgrade my computer the next time (the 7800 series is awesome) so let's hope they've solved their driver problems.

I told you: Celerity makes this game goooood! )

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=62381 I guess I was right. It was too fast to be true.

I'm replaying Gothic 2 right now. I tried to get hold of Psychonauts after seeing it win Game Of The Year on Eurogamer but it turned out that it hadn't been released in Sweden yet! It's almost a year since I heard about it being released in NA! Insane.

Let me guess: as the world's only The Action Game of 2004 fan and a potential buyer of the collector's edition your feelings were hurt? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never get finnish humour. It's very easy to be whiny about everything and everyone. When it's done without class and/or humour it just becomes pathetic garbage. Just like in the article.

I'd recommend Gothic 2 Gold too. It's Gothic 2 plus the expansion called Night of the Raven. Long game, huge gameworld, incredibly immersive (almost no loading times), weird controls that takes some getting used to, functional brothel (most important!), great combat (well, not really, but I liked it) and a pretty interesting story, once you get it going (the game starts out slow).

Why do you guys even link such utter crap to this forum? Worthless idiocy.

YES!! I'd been dreading that game for months! AND THE LEAFS WENT AND WON IT!! GO LEAFS ) 51 points now. Oilers seem to have 50.

What Games Do you Want To See For Xbox360?
mkreku replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Computer and Console
Perhaps a certain maturity level is required to appreciate various consumer electronics. Oh well, someone on another forum told me to register here and discuss the console with some of the naysayers, but it appears as though the entire forum is bias beyond logical comprehension. Take care. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^ Epiphany. -
It sounds too fast to be true. Let's hope it's a false rumour.

Which are the worst CRPGs of the last decade?
mkreku replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Computer and Console
The title "Which are the worst CRPGs of the last decade?, The stinkers, the failiures, the boring" is really misleading. The correct title would be "Which are the CRPG's that Kaftan didn't like and chose to include on the list?" It's a really lame list. It reminds me of a particular kind of behaviour on Gamespot where fanbois clicks around voting 1's on every other game than their own preference because "all gamez suck except the one I liek!!1". I was hoping to find a funny, insightful list of really crappy games, perhaps combined with a humourous take on why they were so crappy in this thread. Instead I find the Elder Scrolls, Gothic's and Neverwinter Nights on the list.. Who here really thinks those games belong on a list of worst CRPG's of the last decade..? In case you do, you've just failed at playing games. Go play MORE games and then come back. I hated Neverwinter Nights and Morrowind too, but only a fool would vote for them anyhow. There are MUCH worse games out there, trust me. Kaftan, you fail at poll making. The rest of you fail at voting. Uh.. except if you voted for Pool of Radiance 2 or Dungeon Lords Edit: Spelling, as usual. -
I actually hated the entire vampire thing and the only redeeming factor about Bloodlines' setting is that it was modern times. That alone made it good.

Mogilny is only 36, but the big risk about the guy is that his hip has been a constant pain for the last 5-6 years or so. He used to be incredibly fast and skilled with the puck at high speeds. He's still skilled, but the speed just isn't there anymore. I bet Toronto somehow finds a way to resign him. With my luck they'll trade Alexander Steen for Alexander Mogilny.

I tried playing www.urbandead.com, but my first character spawned in a zombie controlled part of town, and since I didn't know the rules I spent all my action points going around exploring. Then I realized that you get ONE action point back for every 30 minutes you wait in real life! When I logged back in 6 hours later I was dead. I will never play that game again )

Maybe try removing one of the graphic cards and boot it up that way? Perhaps you need to install special drivers before attempting SLI?
-
None? Halo 2 is quite good, but short. Very short. Fable is.. unsatisfying and unbalanced. It didn't feel like a RPG to me. It's also very short.
