GTA: San Andreas is the game I've given the highest score ever to. Also, the only game I still play regularly after completing it.

I'm sure you've all heard this by now, but: Ken Kutaragi revealed this morning that the Playstation 3 weill launch all over the world simultaneously (I guess they don't want to be worse than Microsoft) early in november 2006! Also, the Playstation 3 will come with a 60 GB harddrive and will be completely backwards compatible with Playstation/Playstation 2. Ok, the Xbox 360 is now out of the picture for me. My next-gen choice stands between Playstation 3 and the Revolution.

I'm not doubting the abilities of the 7800 GS. I'm doubting its rather hefty price (in Sweden at least). The XFX Geforce 7800 GS 256 MB RAM costs $442 in Sweden. That's $442 just to give your dinosaur maybe a year of extra life. Expensive year. Then, when you finally have to upgrade, you just toss it! I'm sure someone might buy it, but you'll probably get like $100 for it by then. Might as well bite the bullet and get a motherboard with PCI-Express 16 already. I saw Asrock sold a motherboard with a Socket 939 that was transformable into the new AM2 socket. That sounds like somewhat more future proof. I've been impressed with what I've read about Conroe so far, but I am sure AMD has something up their sleeves too, and they usually have better prices so I am aiming for yet another AMD system.

I would also say Ovechkin, mostly because I think his goals total is amazing, he scores amazing goals and (as you said) he's practically alone out there with Kolzig. Also, he's a spectacular physical force to be reckoned with. I must say I haven't seen anyone that good at delivering hits since.. Stevens?! Ok, that's stretching it, but at least a young, healthy Lindros. What speaks to Crosby's advantage is that he's so much younger and he's playing center, the most valuable and difficult position (save the goalie) on the ice. Rangers lost again (with Weekes taking the blame this time), Ovechkin tallies another one (to go with two helpers) and the Leafs are in overtime against the Bruins. Go Tellquist!

The worst weather ever in GTA: San Andreas! The sky was all red and black and the wind was tossing my puny helicopter into skyscrapers. I could barely take off from the helicopter platform as the wind tried to throw me off.

They go for around $175 in Sweden, including 25% tax. What's wrong with Turkey, I mean, Sweden has some of the world's highest taxes! It should be more expensive here, theoretically. Edit: Forgot a period. Period.

So just when are you expecting to see this race end? When Ottawa has taken home the Stanley Cup of course!

Keyboards never interested me much (my current keyboard cost less than $8..), but after seeing the Art Lebedev keyboard, I've actually started caring. http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus/ I really want that! It will probably cost a small fortune if they ever get it into production.

I read somewhere that they announced God of War 2 recently. For the Playstation 2! So I guess the Playstation 2 still has a year or more in it. No hurry with the Playstation 3 for my sake. I couldn't afford it right now anyhow.

I know it's old, but I still think it's hilarious ) http://www.gamespot.com/news/6145864.html I mean, how clumsy can you get?! Geez.

The kid has great balance. But check out the Calder race: Crosby is gaining on Ovechkin! Ovechkin has gone two games without registering a point, while Crosby has beet red hot. The race isn't over until the fat Chara sings!

I thought noone outside Scandinavia and Australia used BlueJ. One of the most unstable programming applications I've ever had the displeasure of having to use.

I'm sorry to say that it's not Oblivion, but another game that isn't to be published until March 17. I'm not supposed to publish anything until then but I don't know if that includes chatting about it in my spare time on a nerd board Better safe than sorry though!

There's no difference in stability between AMD and Intel. Intel are better at various calculations (better for graphics processing and compression and such) while AMD is generally considered better for gaming applications. Look out for the new Intel core (Conroe) that's coming out soon. Apparently it's supposed to be faster than the FX-60 that's reigning supreme right now. If the 7800 GS dropped like.. $120-150 in price, I would consider getting it, since then it would make a great upgrade for my aging computer. Otherwise I have to upgrade my motherboard, CPU and GPU at the same time, something which is quite expensive. I'lk upgrade in time for Gothic 3. At least that's my plan, unless something else (*cough*Neverwinter Nights 2*cough*) comes along and forces me into upgrading early.

Go Leafs go! Anyone have a linky to that Ovechkin hit on Chara? I sure would like to see it. Edit: While searching for that hit, I found this one: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4...3525&q=ovechkin Kind of nice, that too )

I'm looking forward to reviewing this one.

So.. Red Orchestra is good and Oblivion is a boring pseudo-RPG. Ok, we got that. Now please share with the world when and where you were able to play these two unreleased titles, little hypocrite?

Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams and another (PC) game that I got today.

I'm not very fond of Bioware's products so far, but Mass Effect and Dragon Age might be better suited for my gaming style. This MMORPG-business is totally uninteresting for me though. But a new studio means it won't affect Bioware as badly as World of Warcraft has affected Blizzard. Let's hope they manage to make something financially successful so Bioware becomes even stronger and bigger and more productive!

Actually, if Starforce delays pirating of a game by ~1 week, they've won. The ideal situation would be if Starforce was uncrackable, but they realize that's almost impossible. Most games sell most of their copies within a few weeks from release, therefore the goal for Starforce is to delay the pirated versions to reach the common people for a week or so. If they manage that, the game won't be hurt as bad by pirating, and so far they've done a great job. Starforce games take longer to crack than other systems. Unfortunately, it's also the most intrusive and annoying system for the end-user. Personally I don't like Starforce one bit, but I can definitely see why it's so popular.

At least the Leafs won. We beat the reigning Stanley Cup champions! That would have felt a lot better if the Bolts hadn't played like crap all year too.. Not sure, but it feels as if Sundin might have been awakened by the Olympic gold. He's played a lot better (in my opinion) since after the Olympics than he did before. Of course, the longer away from the eye injury he gets, the better he is bound to play.

http://www.ulti-mat.com/v3/index.php?p=pro...=mousepads&id=1 It's a teflon-coated steel pad. It's cold in the mornings, it's heavy as a brick, but it's really comfortable, it is basically frictionless (make sure your desk is perfectly horizontal, otherwise your mouse will slid off) and it's big enough that you can move your hands a lot before reaching its edges. I actually have half my keyboard on top of it too and still have room to play my games.
