  1. Heh, I imported my Gothic from England. It arrived in a single, cheap CD case (even though it's two CD's) and without manual. AND it cost me a small fortune! I was pretty pissed.. but the game was so good I forgave them!
  2. Holy crap, what a package! Source: http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=79721 I own each and everyone of those games (Gothic, Gothic 2, Gothic 2 - Night of the Raven, Gothic 3) but I'm still getting this! How's that for a fanboy!
  3. Yeah, I've been noticing the same trend here in Sweden too: games are first released in the USA at X dollar. Then they're released in Sweden, and what they do is instead of recalculating the X dollar price with whatever the

At least we have something brewing in the system..

I actually had a dream tonight that Toronto won a game 7-1. That's a BAD sign when even my dreams are trying to cheer me up from the harsh reality.
  6. This is how I want my wedding dance to look like:
  7. I've already bought it for my girlfriend over a year ago (February last year? Or was it this year?).
  8. Yesterday I went to Stockholm for a training course. It lasted from 7 in the morning until 6 in the evening. When I got back home I noticed that my girlfriend was still in school (exam today) and my housemate (temporary) was at a friends place. Since I have no apartment key I had to sit in the stone hallway outside my apartment and wait for a few hours.. That put me in a lovely mood.

I think last place is where this Leafs team is heading.. and fast. I'll wave at you once we pass you in the standings on our way down..
  10. That would be a blistering fast computer.

Yeah, he is. And Sundin (at least) have said they're playing well together. But I think everyone was hoping for more goals..
  12. You're telling the guy who had problems with the werewolf in Bloodlines to play Crysis on hard..?
  13. As soon as you'll find me a beautiful male, I'll gladly admit to it. So far in my life there's been none (except kirottu of course... rrr).
  14. I resent that! I just happen to appreciate beauty in all its forms
  15. Yes.. and that someone would slip on the pavement outside and accidentally lob his Vista Ultimate into my (new) DVD drive, that would then autostart the install process and refuse to abort, even if I pulled the plug. Also, it would have to quickly develop some sort of energy shield to withstand the shotgun blast I would be imposing on it within minutes. It could happen..
  16. Hmm, the side-quests doesn't sound too promising: Then he goes on to slam it some more: I find the comments thread to be more informative than the actual review.
  17. Hmm.. http://www.infoworld.com/article/07/11/19/...-experts_1.html With Crysis out, I'm tempted. But it's such a horribly un-optimized system hog that I just can't take the leap yet. I'm hoping SOMETHING comes along that forces me to "upgrade", eventually.
  18. Fitting typo.
  19. ..and next time, bring more pictures of pretty girls, you bastard!

Yeah, it took him a while to get that gigantic potential he's always had going, but it seems he's arrived there now. Impressive player. Reminds me a bit of Sundin
  21. Just like to add in that it took Krudster over at Eurogamer 15 hours on his first playthrough and a German reviewer 11 hours in his first playthrough. So yeah, you could probably boost that up somewhat, but this is no Baldur's Gate 2, that's for sure.
  22. I can also live with a "could-be-completed" time of 10 hours. Hell, KotOR can be completed in 3 hours and BG2:SoA in 1, but most players take a lot more. Yes, I am aware of the weird sport that is speedruns. But this isn't what I am talking about here. More from the comments thread on Eurogamer: One reviewer clocked it under 17 hours on his first try. The German reviewer came in just under 11 hours ON HIS FIRST RUN! I am sure he didn't speedrun through it on his first attempt.
  23. OK, I am beginning to get a few doubts by now. I trust Eurogamer the most and when they say it's flawed, it usually is (ignoring the Bioshock/Halo3/Oblivion 10/10 grades..). First of all, people are complaining about texture pop-in: Second, the reviewer estimates it could be completed in around 10 hours?? Geez!
  24. No, 8/10 isn't low by Eurogamer's standards. If you go to IGN or Gamespot or 1UP or any of the American game sites, then yes, 8 is a low score.
  25. I just read (and commented in) the Mass Effect review thread on Eurogamer and found this quote from the reviewer himself: WHAT?! That makes the game sound like ****!
