What does your right hand care about nosehairs?

The brothel scene in Gothic 2. Very subtle and mature.

I'm not sure Bioshock is so much longer than EP2 that it's earned to be called longer. They're in the same ballpark, that's for sure. Bioshock is NOT System Shock 3 and I have no idea why they claimed it was a spiritual successor. Well, except for the obvious marketing purposes of course, but one would think Levine had more integrity than that. The problems with Bioshock (and what brings it down from a great game to a good game for me) is that they removed the consequences from all the choices you make in the game. Took the wrong skillset? Change it whenever you want. Want to go the good route? Award is the same as going the bad route so it doesn't matter. One differing animation is NOT enough! Don't know where to go? Keep pushing forward, the game is as linear as a corridor. Sure, the corridor twists sometimes, but that's it. Oh and there are only five enemy types.. throughout the entire game. They all look the same, fight the same and act the same. You'll get bored with them within a few hours. Luckily, that about as long as the game lasts.. No replay factor, no multiplayer and a gamelength of about 8-12 hours (depending on how much you suck at fps gameplay.. think werewolves).

Thank you Leafs for letting in five goals in the last period. I was almost getting a little hope there after the second period ended, but you quelled that feeling ruthlessly.

I just finished watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Holy crap, that Jessica Biel girl has the SEXIEST BUTT EVER!! I'm in lust! And because Walsingham drones around these parts of the forums, I can't even post a picture of it.. in appreciation. That sucks.

My cover is blown

Wow, that's some moves that kid has!

Fixed.

I wouldn't mind at all if Piranha Bytes started releasing lots and lots of Gothic's based on the same engine with just a new story, new worlds to explore and new enemies to defeat. Cookie cutter for teh win!!

Huh.. I love long games. The best games I ever played lasted around 100 hours each. Some even longer.

A much needed win for the Leafs! Good to see they can win against mid-range teams at least.

Also on Eurogamer, in even worse quality!! http://www.eurogamer.net/tv_video.php?playlist_id=5441

A sucker borne every day, no offence. Don't ever buy without searching for the best offer, and be wary of bogus price comparison sites too. You should pay somewhere between 5000-7000 SEK for a good quality bike, and honestly, whats the point of a top tuned lady's bike, you sit down on those, can't push the speed by a standing position. If it ain't gonna go fast why pay for formula 1 breaks I live in a small town. The bike shop is ten minutes from my house. The salesman calls me by my first name. If he screws me over, I'm kicking his ass. I'm paying premium for quality. A Skeppshult bike is supposed to last for 20 years without a problem. Of course, now that they've started using Shimano gears I'm not so convinced.. But my grandmother still has her Skeppshult bike from the fifties, which is why I went looking for that particular brand. I had no idea they were so expensive though. Before I went to this particular salesman, I went to a bike repair shop. I asked them how many Skeppshult they have had to repair and they said, "We don't repair Skeppshult". I asked them why and they said because noone brings them there. I took that as a good sign since that bike repair shop is the biggest (and best) in my town. The only case he could remember was one where the frame had exploded after being filled with water that froze in the winter.. I'm guessing it was one of those bikes they pull out of the Fyris stream every year (the bicycle stands in Uppsala are situated along a small stream that drunk students pass every day).

1TB? I'd rather go for Hitachi's new 4TB drive. (...in 2009-2011...)

The brakes, if you are talking about disc-breaks
-
You know you cheer for a bad team when only losing 5-4 in overtime feels like a victory..
-
Holy crap, I spelled "brakes" wrong. How embarrassing.

I was looking for a ladies bike to buy for my girlfriend as a Christmas present yesterday. It turned out that the bike I want her to have costs 8200SEK (~$1300). I felt that was quite a lot for an ordinary bike, but the salesman insisted that it was the best quality bike money can buy. I didn't even know there were bikes with automated lights (turns on automatically when it gets dark), automatic gears and motorcycle breaks.

http://www.dailytech.com/Clash+of+the+Subt...article9180.htm Yeah, for the first time in years both Nvidia And AMD/ATI are ignoring the fall high-end war. They're both about to release competitive, low-cost upper mid-range products instead. Both are working on shrinking die manufacturing processes and both are releasing single slot cards. ATI missing the ultra-high-end segment with their 2XXX series of cards really was bad for us consumers. They've even come out and said that they won't compete with Nvidia this generation. Is it any wonder that Nvidia released their last high-end card almost a year ago..? It sucks when the fastest card available is a year old.

There it is! This is the part that caught my eye. To me it sounds like you're free to explore the universe (which I hope is huge and interesting) and the side-quests you'll find won't all be meaningless and out of place. I must say that Precursors sounds better in the exploration parts (and combat parts, according to that article) but I'm willing to give Mass Effect the benefit of a doubt too.
-
Argh! OK, may I add that I now officially hate Walsingham and his paranoia? Let the OTHER SITE THAT'S HOSTING THE FILES remove it if they deem it improper! Geez, stop acting like the world police. I was going to quote a piece from that article as to why I thought it sounded neat, but I CAN'T NOW. It was something about how you were free to roam around the universe and do side-quests and how they subtly affected the main story. Something like that. ASK WALSINGHAM. So annoying.
-
But it does sound pretty sweet though. I mean, if you look through the obvious (and utterly ridiculous) hype..

Hey, Jimmy Shears, welcome to the forums. Long time since I've seen such well thought out posts in this place. Bravo.

Yeah, I must say that I'm glad I never reviewed Neverwinter Nights 2.. I would probably not have been given time to play past the first chapter and based on that I'd say the game sucked. Well, maybe not sucked but I'd given it 6-7/10. The game has grown on me though. The Keep that you get to maintain is pretty weak and underdeveloped, but it's a very neat idea. I think I'll be able to finish the game this time around. Then we'll see if I'll buy Mask of the Betrayer.
