  1. I've heard a lot of good things about the writing and I've checked out some of the in game books. I'm tempted but I just know all those other people running around my freaking game will ruin it for me
  2. I'm mesmerized by his creepy rubber face mask
  3. I'm not sure I can feel hype any more, Fallout 4 was the last gasp.
  4. On my third day of no tobacco or smoke of any kind, my various addictions have all been replaced by vaporizers. Already feeling a bit clearer in the lungs and last night I'm almost certain I could taste my dinner
  5. I find it quite distasteful when someone is banned from travelling to the UK because of their beliefs, Trump is a boorish loon but I can't support the idea.
  6. Speaking as a long time Bethesda fanboi with a medically dangerous number of hours logged in their games I'd say the quests are under-developed. It's not like Morrowind or Oblivion had many branching paths but the quests were at least interesting or humorous, Fallout 3 is a wonderland of choices compared to Fallout 4.
  7. He survived on cool, the pure liquid cool that our Lord Todd deemed eminently worthy of your attention!
  8. Got amazingly shafted by the botchling three times in a row, didn't realise that axii stops it healing...tomorrow my pretty
  9. I once had a deep filling without anaesthetic, that was...a mistake. I've got one wisdom tooth left that I'm hanging on to as it's still useful for chewing and does'y cause much grief. Most of my teeth have fillings though, got a couple of crowns too. Over the years my teeth have caused me a lot of pain, the sort of pain that ages you, I deeply regret not looking after them when I was a nipper
  10. Being nicer to the Emperor this time around, I screwed him over at every step last time and the game managed to make me feel slightly bad about it.
  11. Yeah Triss mentioned that she needed something to remove it but I didn't get around to it.
  12. Yeah I liked that my Blue Stripes tattoo is still there LOL! You kept that ugly thing? Let me know if Yen ever teases you for it. Oh man, now I might have to go back and play W2 and 3 just to see. Well, I suppose I don't like it, I just like that it's still there
  13. Yeah I liked that my Blue Stripes tattoo is still there
  14. No I let him and Sile live. Seems to me that Geralt was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and there's the whole Letho sparing you and (previously) saving Yen issue.
  15. Back in Witcher 3 with my imported save and a better understanding of the lore. Death March difficulty time
  16. Dear me, just heard this on the radio, dunno how many more gut punches my childhood can take. RIP.
  17. There's no way I could afford games as a kid, my family were pretty broke too. Piracy let me get thoroughly hooked on computers and without it there's no way I'd be spending on games the way I do now. Also who doesn't love the crack intros you used to get
  18. Well, I completed Witcher 2, wish I could say it was a blast but I only really enjoyed the conversations and a couple of fights. On the whole it felt like a slog, I hated the interface, disliked the combat and felt frustrated by all the narrow pathways you're forced to traipse back and forth as you quest. I did appreciate the things it did well. All the politicking, history and intrigue are right up my street and the locations are mostly lovely to look at but ultimately I think Witcher 3 is the game I wanted when W2 was released. *edit* Oh...doors, I freaking hated doors in The Witcher 2
  19. The Monkey Island games were my first case of true love for computer game music. I owned an Amiga so there were mountains of good tunes available but Monkey Island's theme got wedged in my soul.
  20. Yeah it was on PC. I didn't find the city too confusing, it just wasn't to my tastes and I was clueless about the plot (my first Witcher game) so I ended up ditching it for New Vegas. Now I'm enjoying the game enough to complete it but part of me longs to import that save into Witcher 3 and get back to a game I truly enjoyed every minute of.
  21. I didn't like the dwarf city either, that's where I ran out of steam last time I played. The king's camp has a few cool moments so at least I got through it.
  22. I'd love a spiritual sequel to Morrowind, similar pacing and multi-faceted story, same systems but polished and expanded rather than simply cut.
