The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
I was considering a mod to remove the question marks, though not quest marks as I don't think I'd find anything without them. I can't imagine running around clicking on every NPC like I do in most RPGs, there's just too many.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
I think I've almost done the main Skellege quest but there's a quivering ton of side content waiting. Really enjoying Skellege, this should have been the entire game if you ask me

It wouldn't be so bad if it even allowed for the illusion of complexity but the conversations are written and recorded in such a way that it can only seem jarring. I've also noticed conversations feel short because they're all one way through, you rarely get to ask more than one question before the conversation moves on. I normally admire this, it forces you to live with your choices but in Fallout 4 there are no conversation 'paths' so they're just denying you exposition for no good reason, might as well let us ask all the questions.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
Just made it to Skellege I'm impressed so far, the Nordic culture is refreshing after so much time on the mainland. I do think it's a shame the world had to be split up but Skellege alone is bigger than Skyrim so I can't complain too much. Quests are still interesting, I especially enjoyed the necromancy scene with Yennifer, she's dark...I'm starting to regret sending Triss away

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
I'd got some free credit to waste on Gog so I got the season pass, I'm enjoying the game enough so far and I'd love another city, screenshots look nice

While I like punishing encumbrance levels in games with a survival theme it'd just frustrate the hell out of me here.

Fallout 4...
The kid should have been a complete and utter feral wreck, gnawing off his own fingers and gibbering to imaginary friends. As it happens he's a totally normal kid and he just wants you to take him home where his ghoul parents have waited for 200 years. I get that this quest is meant to be a dumb ten minute diversion but it's still pretty galling. It's fine to have these derp moments in the game if you've got enough talent to make them genuinely funny or interesting, Bethesda apparently don't Actually I think this might be the most frivolous bit of nonsense I encountered, not that I've seen it all but I reckon this is pretty close to the bottom of the barrel.

Easiest (free) video editing software?
Weirdly enough I never thought about that

Yeah I quite admired Benny, I even tried to side with him but of course the snake backstabs you Yep, the dialogue system leads to all kinds of disjointed nonsense but with the full dialogue mod you can usually find a choice that doesn't make your teeth hurt. I'm a hoarder so I had the same situation, boxes full of **** back at Sanctuary and it all stayed there until I finished the game

Same for the BoS, a 50 second bummer of a video clip that re-enforced what a terrible thing I just did and then a bunch of radiant quest guff. I quickly visited a few locations to see the response to my actions and it amounted to a new edition of Publick Occurrences and a radio announcement. Oh, companions had one line of dialogue that I couldn't respond to. The only thing that gave me even a flicker of emotion was swimming down into the crater I just made of the Institute, that felt kinda haunting. Also I got a jetpack for my crimes, which felt really odd for end-game content as it's a fun tool for getting around and exploring...y'know, all that stuff I just spent 80-100 hours doing already. It's a real shame because the dungeon design, world design, gunplay and exploration are all great. In terms of just poking around and finding stuff it might be Bethesda's best, I've lost track how many secret places I found just by paying attention to small details. When I come back to this game I'll need to have a stack of mods and some seriously adjusted expectations- Psychonauts 2 :D
- Easiest (free) video editing software?
I've been saddled with the task of finding a completely free and totally derp proof video editor for my sister in law. I'm pretty much clueless about video editing, I just need something you can dump a load of files into and turn them into a sequence, preferably with disc burning options. Anyone have some suggestions?- Fallout 4...
