Listening to her dialogue was total torture as I recall, though I suppose she was the most reactive companion Bethesda have ever made. Oh jesus.

I've been asking the same questions on the Bethesda forum but I'm guessing they won't fix a damn thing

A couple of new video clips spliced into this interview. Also the Steam product page mentions multiple joinable factions vying for control of the area plus a solo path you can take, very New Vegas-ish. Sometimes I really do prefer Oblivion's random garbage dialogue as opposed to the same three or four set-pieces.

Along with hiring back Michael Kirkbride. Ahh well, we can dream

Seemed like a nice guy

I think the praise for Bethesda world building has more to do with their expertise at creating a visually inviting world with stuff to find and do. The Mojave might have been realistically crafted but trekking through ten minutes of nothing to reach a distant building you can't even enter is a bummer no matter how into realism you are. *edit* I've said it before but Skyrim balanced worldbuilding vs funpark really well, my main concern for Fallout 4 is the writing.

Can't tell if serious. If so, very nice to make your acquaintance. Super serious

Since you will have voiced.protagonist and dialog wheel like ME it was already leaning towards being constricting. This was my impression. It's exactly what I hoped Bethesda wouldn't do and it's probably my biggest concern for the game.

I'm a bit miffed at the UK Steam price so I'll be pre-ordering on Amazon. The only thing I can say in defence of a price hike is that I've always thought Bethesda games are great value for money; I paid about £35 for Skyrim and put about 900 hours into it...and I'll play it again after I've put a few hundred hours into Fallout 4.

Bah so the map is the same size as Skyrim.

WB have pulled Arkham Knight from sale until they fix it on PC. 99% sure this wouldn't have happened without Steam refunds

I hoped the PC architecture of the new consoles would help us to avoid stuff like this but apparently not...oh well, back to being 100% cynical

Daedra in Oblivion tend to shout "weak fettlekyn!" while they attack

I only saw the Hoth trailer, and it looked awesome. What kind of stuff are you thinking they cut for DLC? Space battles I'm thinking.

I flew across Vvardenfell in five seconds. I never managed to build a character with game breaking levels of magic but I treasured those Icarian Flight scrolls. So much that I hardly ever used them, I'd always have a couple left by end game. I remember getting in serious trouble on the slopes of Dagoth Ur and blasting out of there like a rocket

The perma-fog and limited fast travel helped with that but I have the same feeling.

Apparently the map is twice as big as Skyrim. It's about time really, Skyrim suffered slightly for the condensed scale as it only took you five minutes to walk between supposedly remote and legendary 'cities'.

I am excited for the game but I keep watching e3 reactions and I envy the glorygasm people are having over it. Oh to be that naive again

Why ? Would you find the harm he would do to the USA and its image entertaining? It'd make us Brits chuckle for a least a few seconds. Over here trump is a polite way of saying fart, the fact he has an ex wife called Ivana is just gravy.

Nah.

A lot of popular games on the Codex are freaking impenetrable to me...but then that's why it exists.

I'm actually pretty glad they're bring back unique craftables...I like stupid weapons

Bethesda's ability to craft a truly intriguing plot has gone downhill since Morrowind but after Skyrim I thought their prose had improved dramatically. Kinda looks like it's taken another nosedive now though...admittedly I'm mostly basing this on a couple of lines from Codsworth the robot, I do indeed plan to shoot him in the face. I'm quite the Bethesda fanboi but I can't deny some things have me worried. Not being able to see what my character is going to say before he says it is top of my list, at least in Fallout 3 I could avoid the derpiest lines but now it's constant russian roulette.

One problem I had with Skyrim's system is that sometimes I was forced to choose two perks I didn't like to get to the one I did.

Western spies forced to pullout : Snowden to blame

In this case I suppose we're just lucky that this useful idiot was especially idiotic. Enough to bluntly state that he publishes whatever he's spoonfed by the state at least.
