The game has been lying around here unused for about a week, but I am planning to play as a Mage first time through. I'm looking forward to the shape-shifting.
Character creation is similar to Mass Effect's. Not many options... nudie patches & improved body models will have to wait until the creation kits are released.
I was hoping to make green Elves like in Oblivion, but I doubt that will be possible.
The ending is why you install Broken Steel.
Then again, I was okay with the ending the first time. I was level 20, and had explored the entire map + finished all quests, there was no more reason to continue running around shooting things.
I've seen some flying Deathclaws and body parts suddenly come falling from the sky.
Most epic moment was an entire bus dropping right in front of me outside the National Archives. I think it came flying from the Capitol Building... there's usually a fight going on down there.
That isn't a joke review, is it?
...
"With so many quirks and flaws in the RPG basics, it doesn't help that the game looks absolutely terrible." Huh? Then again he reviewed the console version..
Vectorman:
Fun platformer that was originally on Genesis, but can be played on PC under form of Sega Smash Pack (which also includes Golden Axe, Phantasy Star II & Sonic).
I managed to finish the game without any further incidents. There's a few nice new twists at Malachor.
Guess I should now replay as a male Exile. Apparently there's some interesting drama added involving the Handmaiden & Visas.
Have you run into mirelurk hunters yet? Now those things are really bad-ass at low levels. There's a metro station somewhere full of these mudcrabs, I believe.
I have no complaints about diminishing quality... I always manage to play some diamonds in the rough - Drakensang & Divinity 2 were two quality RPGs that I've played this year. Risen will probably be up there too.
I just wish there were still quality adventure games made. I can't remember anything remarkable being made since Dreamfall (and that game was only remarkable because it coming out 7 years after TLJ)... Broken Sword 4 was a bitter disappointment as well.
White Birds Productions didn't really deliver either... Beno
Most unknown Bethesda game is Zero Critical, a point-and-click sci-fi adventure game... I'm not sure whether they developed or published it, though. Probably the latter.
Sheesh, so the Alienage is basically the Warsaw Ghetto, huh?
I have a feeling those nazi humans are really going to suffer at the hands of my City Elf rogue and/or Elven necromancer.
