Morrigan gets on my nerves. The way I'm playing, I can barely get her approval over 0. Then again, I did a really ridiculous goodie-two-shoes thingie in Redcliffe and I was astonished to see a "Leliana disapproves -5" on screen afterwards. Darn irony.

I guess female Grey Wardens get nothing then? Male Grey Warden = canon?

I'm looking forward to seeing whether Zevran is a better fighter. I guess he'll be a dual-wielding specialist with some stealth skills, which would be nice. I only use Imoen chick in the first phases of entering a town when it's all about chatting up people and I have the opportunity to influence her, but as soon as the fighting is starting I swap her for another mage. The tier 4 archery skills seem pretty nice, though... but with the destruction mages can rain down on enemies, who cares?

I'm level 10 and I've yet to meet the 'trainer' to become a Champion... anyone know where (s)he is? Maybe I should become a Templar instead...

^I think the game wants you to go to Mage Tower first, no matter what NPCs advise you to do. Morrigan's suggestion is... ridiculous, no? I'm really glad I didn't go to Redcliffe first after Lothering. Without Cone of Cold, Force field or Earthquake I guess I'd be having a *hard* time there...

Cone of Cold + Stonefist/Shield Pummel has become my bread & butter. I'm sure Morrigan will be modded into having decent starting spells sooner or later.

Concerning Redcliffe...

I've been buttering up Shale, Alistair & Leliana mostly, but surprisingly have good approval with Sten too. He's not the Canderous Ordo type I had expected him to be. With Morrigan it's just a pain to prevent her approval from sinking constantly.

I have an enchantable Tier 3 & 4 longsword, there's only one slot though.

I think it depends on where one goes first after Lothering. Some areas may drop lots of good loot compared to others.

You need a special weapon with enchantment slots I guess. I only managed to do it with one sword & one dagger sor far. But I'm only level 9. I don't know whether armor can be enchanted.

Are you roleplaying as Alistair's twin brother?

I've been playing for 20 hours and according to the in-game statistics only completely 13% of the game and explored 18% of the world... this is definitely going over 100 hours.

When I'm replaying as an Elf I'm going to insult that King Kaidan like there's no tomorrow.

I play the game on 1280x1024 but the game saves them at 600x480 for some reason..

Random encounters where one is suddenly surrounded by wolves in a small space stink. I always lose a party member due to their annoying Overwhelm ability. It stinks because you're basically thrown into a huge mess without any chance to prepare beforehand.

Eh... the screenshots the game is saving for me are not at such an enormous resolution...

During large battles my mages always run out of lyrium potions and have to resort to their staffs of pew-pew. Pretty annoying. Haven't found a merchant that sells tons of lyrium dust so far.

So eager for the triple/quadruple romance shtick? I know I am.

Shale could probably solo the entire Mage Tower. On a next playthrough as a mage, I'm going to use him from start to finish. He's a stone version of HK-47.

I'm getting so annoyed with that Dryden (sp?) dude standing around in my camp with the puppy-eyed look that I'll probably feel compelled to purchase Soldier's Keep sooner or later... darn clever in-game marketing. Stone Prisoner was totally worth it, btw. Shale cracks me up everytime I talk to him.
