  1. It wasn't really about dying, but more about suddenly ending up in a bad action game boss fight.
  2. I had Geralt spouting "I'm getting too old for this" during the kayran fight. It was very applicable.
  3. It looks okay, but unfortunately Alice: Madness Returns comes out on the same day and I'll be getting that title on release. So I'll wait a bit with this one.
  4. I'm so looking forward to this! There better be a sex scene. FEEL THE BLOOD RAGE
  5. Guess CD Projekt will have to come up with a InfraLow setting to make it run.
  6. Was Ulysses' design based on Christian Karembeu?
  7. Playable Catwoman? **** yeah.
  8. I think I'll just be sticking to the originals, thanks.
  9. War stopped being honorable at Agincourt. Thanks, Brits.
  10. I can generally forgive a lot in fantasy works if the setting is interesting. Case in point, Riftwar & Wheel of time. David Eddings novels are the book equivalent of BioWare games. They always feature the same character archetypesa and there's always the same type of epic quest going on. Not to mention the endless banter between either incredibly annoying or incredibly witty characters. I'd recommend Guy Gavriel Kay, Stephen Donaldson and Robin Hobb. Among today's best-sellers, Steven Erikson is best.
  11. It was pretty buggy at release, but still a great game and better than Oblivion. Furthermore, JoWood had screwed them over.
  12. Alpha Protocol meets Mass Effect meets Hard To Kill meets yellow piss filter.
  13. No Witcher 2?
  14. Any future D&D game would use 4th edition rules & setting, I don't want anything to do with that crap.
  15. That's actually a woman from WW2. She had the most kills of any sniper in Stalingrad. I'm pretty sure Vasili Zaitsev had most kills in Stalingrad. At least, according to the movie. The woman in the pic is Lyudmila Pavlichenko, she was never in Stalingrad.
  16. Clearly, it's an Ukrainian.
  17. Only if the author is an old, fat bearded man. Meaning, everyone. Joe Abercrombie
  18. First google image that came up:
  19. Lame name, lame game. SHRED
  20. There is magic in ASoIaF, it's just not very clear how it works. Big example is Melisandre and other priests of Rh'lorr. It seems to be similar to DA's blood magic.
  21. I enjoyed it overall, but it could've been so much better. I really liked the Industrial Revolution setting; they could've even used it to explain why there were only a handful of heroes left, barely any magic left, not to mention most of Fable 1's monsters decimated. Instead, most just feels streamlined to the max.
  22. Well, that was my point. DS3 looks way better than the best-looking PS2 games.
