I'm playing on Normal and all I do in combat is dodging and spamming Heavy attack. The AI seems to go bonkers if you move around a lot, giving Geralt a couple of free hits. Trying to do anything other than attacking one opponent at a time seems a ticket to a quick death, with the clunky controls and **** camera. Closed spaces are a problem, but that's what signs are for. Enemies don't really attack intelligently either, they just lumber around, flailing their weapons like morons. Frankly, the combat is one big disappointment for me, along with the butchered alchemy system.

Has anyone managed to beat the final arm wrestler?

I imported a level 30+ Geralt who killed drowners and ghouls by just glaring at them at the end of TW1, but now my Geralt is a noob again. Maybe CD Projekt should've had Geralt himself assassinated in the beginning, ME2 style, and have the Lodge of Sorceresses revive him or something. It doesn't make sense.

Everytime I bring up the launcher, I get a "connection error". I can't register my game nor redeem my preorder DLC "special item" code.

Call me when it's better than Case of the Serrated Scalpel.

I'm guessing the demo's going to feature the first level up til the witch. I'm also guessing it's going to feature only Lucas.

The doctors really don't seem to care much anymore. Muzyka is more interested in poker, and Zeschuk has always played second fiddle.

I just installed and according to the launcher my PC meets High requirements.

The golem form would've been useful in SoA. But in ToB every peasant and his grandmother carries a +3 weapon.

I've been playing the First Templar and while it's been bashed for "lol outdated graphics" and "bad facial animations lololol" it ran silk-smooth and without any bugs and crashes whatsoever. Not to mention, it was a damn fun and addictive game. The same goes for the Drakensang games. Hell, even Two Worlds 2. I'll be picking up the Witcher 2 tomorrow and it will probably run like **** and crash like there's no tomorrow. Not really looking forward to it.

Do any of these DLCs affect the main game in any way? Are there any new dialogue options with Caesar or other Legion clowns? Similarly, does the other DLC with Father Elijah has any affect on the BoS in the main game?

In popularity? Because I'd think from a financal/size standpoint they were there before. Didn't they almost fold a couple of years ago, what with the canned console port and all?

Not to mention, her husband was a chump. They specifically gave Jaheira a Remove Fear spell in BG1 that Druids normally don't get, because Khalid was most prone to lose morality and run off. R00fles!

I believe Jaheira explains at one point that it was part of their life's philosophy, to move on quickly if someone of the two dies.

I reloaded an old BG2 paladin save and managed to confuse Drizzt with a Chaos spell. So much for his 90% magic resistance. Of course, Jaheira, that prissy bitch, left beforehand. Maybe we should hold a "most humiliating defeat of Drizzt" competition.

Actually, Jaheira started hitting on Charname after two to three in-game days... and with most newbies resting numerous times in Irenicus' dungeon, getting out of there after two-three in-game days, this gives a wrong impression.
