My renegade Shepard had her entire crew survive the "suicide" mission, in hindsight that is completely unacceptable. It seems I should replay and have everyone save Tali, Garrus, Mordin and Grunt killed, in the worst kind of way.

They'll never admit that one of their high-tech toys got shot down unless there is no way to deny. See the F-117 in Serbia.

Morrowind had seamless environments and managed to run on Xbox, though. I wouldn't be surprised if they walled off cities in Oblivion to prevent their Radiant AI from depopulating all their cities and botch many quests.

I don't think that can be modded out. It's hardcoded. The cities in Oblivion were never made seamless as far as I know. I'm guessing Mark/Recall and similar forms of teleportation are also out, then.

There's no fix for the pathfinding, sadly. I don't even visit that Gullykin dungeon that's swarming with the kobolds anymore because of this.

A 40-minute raid to kill 5 people, one of them an old man and his wife? Osama mustn't have gone out without a bang. I wonder how many infidels he took with him.

A recent thread here motivated me to retry Arcanum in the weekend, but again I couldn't get past Black Mountain mines and uninstalled the game. So now I'm playing some adventure games, awaiting TW2 and (lulz) Fable 3.

I really can't think of anything good about the demo.

So that nuke is going to blow in Europe after all.

GRRM can beat around the bush as much as he wants, in the end it will still come down to "Chosen One reunites lands and beats back white hordes of doom". Unless he lets the Others win.

I should've stuck with Shani in my last Witcher playthrough just to spite CD Projekt with their "tasteful romance" BS. Besides, a playthrough with a butthurt sorceress at Geralt's side should be fun. Triss is leading Geralt on anyway. I hope another miracle happens and Yennefer returns from the dead.
