I'm close to finishing my second playthrough of Skyrim, then I'll put it to rest waiting for expnasions/DLCs and be playing E.Y.E.

DX:HR was pretty bland overall, and didn't really have anything memorable about it. All I remember of the game was Garrett or somesuch (what was the protagonist's name again anyway) acting like a complete idiot in cutscenes.

That's pretty disappointing considering Dungeon Siege 2 had full party banter and all (eight) companions had a sidequest. Even the expansion (which I surmize is probably as long as the entire Dungeon Siege 3) had three new companions with each a new sidequest.

Stormcloaks are idiots with their heads up Ulfric's ass, basically, it also doesn't help that Ulfric himself is pretty pathetic and a hypocritic coward. If Vladimir Kulich had been more true-blooded Viking, I would've followed him in an instant. But yeah, overall it's better to go for the truce.

Augustus shouldn't be mentioned next to Caesar, let alone Alexander. Caesar conquered Gaul, then crushed the Republic and his main rival. Augustus reign as emperor was impressive, before that he was less than impressive. He never acted, he was a cold calculator who probably never even lifted a gladius in his life. Augustus sat back watching how others won his battles for him and watched how his main rival self-destructed. Then he conveniently took the throne after ensuring everyone who wanted him dead was either bribed, bullied or assassinated. That he later evolved into an old, demure grognard who banished his own wife and daughter is only irony.

The "reviews" A lot of Dungeon Siege veterans that got burnt after buying the game based on name only. Can't really blame them.

Reinstalled Twitcher 2 on my new rig just to see how it looks. Pretty as a Manet painting, pity the game is so mind-numbingly boring and the gameplay so horrible to ever be replayed.
