  1. At least Witcher 2 is the only game that will give a high-end gaming PC a run for its money, with ubersampling.
  2. That's why development of Alice 2 was largely outsourced to South-East Asia.
  3. Must be the 1.2 patch. Alduin couldn't damage me.
  4. I'd expand that: they need to make a Gotham City Sirens game.
  5. You don't need to type [] in the console. Just type for instance setstage ms12b 60
  6. Obviously Obsidian's going to brilliantly deconstruct all of that.
  7. I was curious so I googled 'Vette'. At least this time there's no wookiee around. R00fles!
  8. BioWare should at least include a Volourn NPC in their next game.
  9. You need to find the right enchantments on loot to disenchant before that, too. Resist magic is easy, though. Lord stone + Blessing of Mara gives already 40%. Add alteration perks and you only need one item enchanted to max it out.
  10. I might restart as a Bosmer or Khajiit to do the Thieves Guild properly and the Dark Brotherhood. I don't know if archery is any fun, but sneak is very powerful.
  11. Well, I finished the main quest. It was okay, but nothing special. End boss was pathetic, I just pressed and held the left mouse button to unleash Lightning Storm and that was that. I killed 30 dragons in total, the majority of those on mountain tops (never experienced any dragon "cliffracer" syndrom other people appear to have), still need to kill 14 to master all shouts. So far I say College of Winterhold > Thieves Guild > Daedric quests > Main quest > Companions.
  12. It's widespread, yes. It is a redundant patch anyway, since it doesn't fix quest bugs.
  13. Err... is there any reason to ever play any single-player game with Steam online?
  14. Catwoman should zip her suit and put on her goggles. Combat's entertaining, but it's too easy to get high combat scores since you regularly fight more than 10 enemies.
  15. I'm liking the odd jobs for the Thieves Guild, how they send you to the four main cities across the map, since it enables me to wrap up some other quests around these parts I left hanging. Their main quest, though, doesn't really interest me. Since I couldn't destroy them, I decided to try and sabotage their objectives as much as possible. Hence "Infiltrate mansion and destroy three beehives" became simply storming the place with charged fireballs, killing everyone and firebombing every beehive in sight. Also, for the very first time in an Elder Scrolls game I'm pondering to replay with a Khajiit.
  16. Playing with Batman feels like slow-motion after Catwoman.
  17. I finally got sick of the ridiculously slow flame/frost/storm thrall, but then I remembered the Dead Thrall spell. It didn't work on Astrid (unfortunately) since she was too high level, but now I have Orchendor the teleporting mage as thrall.
  18. It's great that you can at least destroy the Dark Brotherhood. I loved turning on that smug bitch that kidnapped me and told me to kill. Still incomprehensible why you can't destroy the Thieves Guild.
  19. I'm really getting sick of unkillable NPCs. I can't kill any Jarl and corresponding house carl, I can't kill Maven Black-Briar (though I killed her son in front of her), I can't kill her son in the jail, I can't take out the Thieves Guild, let alone Delphine. All because I need to follow Bethesda's linear little storylines.
  20. I don't like that FXAA post-processing injector. It makes the game look too happy, when it should be cold and bleak.
  21. You do get a permanent boon from both Mara and Dibella after doing their quests.
  22. I think its the dialogue writing. I felt the same way in Fallout 3. I enjoyed the game. Running around blowing stuff up and exploring was fun, but I foudn talking to any of the npcs extremely tedious and did it as little as possible. Bethesda does a good job with the whole open-world explore and conquer thing (Oblivion being the one exception) but they write much much worse than any of those Saturday night Syfy channel original movies. I don't know if it's a lack of skill/talent/training or if they just don't care enough to bother doing it well. Quickly, someone paste a screenshot of that Three Dog Intelligence dialogue.
