The fact you can't open a newspaper without reading about another priest being involved in sexual abuse pretty much ensures churches here will remain empty for the next 500 years.
  9. Is that Guinevere?
  10. The barbarian is Guts knock-off. There's even a carbon copy of his sword in the game. Speaking of Guts, the Berserk game on Dreamcast was kickass. Big swords are awesome as long as manly men are wielding them and not the usual androgynous crybabies prevalent in manga and anime. And somebody should make a Karsa Orlong video game.
  11. Finished Saints row 3. Fairly fun, but inferior in every way to Vice City, Total Overdose and even the Saboteur that all did the over-the-top craziness and sandbox better and didn't have such a terribly executed story, to boot. I killed a villain in a cutscene without even realizing until it was mentioned in another cutscene. Also near the end of the game I was immune to all damage and all my weapons had infinite ammo. I've never played a game before with built-in cheats (well, aside from maybe Failout 3). What I appreciated the most about the game was the 80s radio station, sex appeal slider and Sasha Grey (although I was only reminded she was in the game after finishing).

I met some young Mormon missionaries a few years ago, actually, and they were quite lovely. We had a very nice conversation until they started going on about Joseph Smith. I didn't give them my number.

  18. I wonder whether people complained about Assassin's Creed 2's ending back in the day? It's almost on the same level as ME3's Star Child. But at least you get to beat up the Pope.
  19. That's more discipline than the Rape Red Army had at least
  20. Has nothing on the macarena.
  21. See this is why I'm glad I've lost interest in DA, a set character that's part of the chantry. Probably only one class too. Except "the Inquisitor" is about as nameless and faceless as "the Warden" so it seems they're moving back to the more undefined protagonist from DA:O. It also says you've got three classes to choose from. Personally I think the defined character of Hawke was the least of DAII's problems though, so I don't know if this will matter to me, as much as the need for improved encounter design and camera control. Interest is still lukewarm at best. Isn't "the Inquisitor" Cassandra from DA2?
