  1. Ciri is so OP, I must have killed five hundred mooks before realizing they just respawned and I was supposed to just run to the quest marker.
  2. I haven't encountered ??? wolves, only ghouls. What sucks is picking up contracts that are for level 30+. I don't think I'm going to come back for these once I'm far in the main quest.
  3. Which handicap is there if male team plays them?
  4. It's rare to lose gwent since 90% of opponents just waste most of their cards first round.
  5. Witcher gear only good looking equipment in the game.
  6. The Japanese are good at games with choices. But then you have harem endings too.
  7. lol I never met Letho apparently because I didn't import my final *autosave* but my final manual save just before the encounter with Letho.
  8. You can bang a she-elf courtesan. Game of the Year confirmed.
  9. The monster card players need better AI. They always beat themselves by wasting all their cards first round.
  10. The Yennefer hero card is awesome.
  11. So annoying putting runes in your sword, then finding a better sword a minute later.
  12. I'm tired of MMO nonsense in TW3. Picked up contract in Oxenfurt - lol it's for level 37 character.
  13. Disappointed by both Novigrad and Oxenfurt. Guess I expected too much beforehand - size/population of AssCreed cities combined with interactivity/freedom of Skyrim cities.
  14. Kinda like you can't really make an informed decision in Ladies of the wood quest unless you happen to read a book. And even then both options suck.
  15. The "gameplay" parts with Ciri are absolutely horrible.
  16. Geralt bring ecstasy to women by just looking at 'em
  17. Great, now my mods will be broken again. Also why bother crafting *anything* when you find something better rather quickly?
  18. Two levels lower than enemy miniboss -> cool fight for your life (ancient foglet). Two level higher than enemy miniboss -> kill enemy in two hits (werewolf). There must be really be some level based damage.
  19. I understand CDPR had to fill their "open world" somehow so there are packs of monsters right next to villages. It feels even more glaring than in Bethseda games because the world is so much bigger. In the lore, monsters are almost gone along with witchers. I would've prefered if only monsters fought by Geralt were the unique ones from the contracts. Those fights are unique and good. Anyway, killed griffin in lighthouse. It bugged out and somehow ended up from outside in the small circular room Geralt was in. It couldn't move and I hacked it to death.
  20. I'm not really sure what you'd consider "anything special", then. What more do you want from sidequests than what W3 offers? The companies you mention (Ubisoft, BioWare, Bethesda) don't do any more with their sidequests than what's in the Witcher 3. In fact, they often do much less. Straight forward "talk to person to get quest -- kill bad guys who stole ring -- return to quest giver" routine, with very little actual story behind each. DA:I was littered with quests where you literally click on a person with a bubble over their head, they give you a short description of what they need and how they lost it, and you go fetch it, which consists of maybe fighting a group of bandits, picking up the item, then bringing it back for reward. IMO, it's the extra detail, extra bit of story/lore that have impressed me. Obviously if you skin them down to their bare bones, all sidequests (all quests, even) are "fetch quests". It's how they're presented, the detail they're given, that make them interesting. So I'm really not sure how someone can play through the ones in the Witcher 3 and think they're not anything special compared to what we usually get from your typical RPG game. Each sidequest feels almost like its own self-contained story attached to it. Typically, you don't see that from other RPGs with regards to their sidequests nowadays. Main quests, sure. But sidequests, rarely. Missions not connected to main story feel very much like a mix of AssCreed and Arkham City to me. What with the heavy use of cutscenes and "detective" mode. What I really like about the game are the more unpredictable random encounters. Like talking to the idol of a god and being led to a fat sylvan. And nice pieces of environmental storytelling.
