  1. Yeah, that's your personal taste then. It was never really needed, though. Hit the sensors (eyes) and be done with it. :>
  2. Imagine this fancy laser mounted on the head of a shark.
  3. It is the second day of my ten days vacation (didn't got any vacation since september last year) and guess what... I am so bored, I am getting super depressed. What is this madness? There had been so many things I wanted to do, but now... I don't feel motivated for anything at all. Meh.
  4. I'd say Black Mesa was pretty much the same experience to me as the original HL. It's not only the better graphics, but they also streamlined / cut down on some of the more annoying maps, which in my opinion helps the flow of the game. Just sucks that the Xen chapter isn't finished yet and it looks like it will take another 10 years to get done.
  5. I'll guess you mean stuff like the "aliens" then, because most other animals (rats, dogs, scorpions, mantis) can be taken out easily without aiming (exception maybe being the mole rats if you are low-level). The eye-hitzone for the aliens is "?" though, which means it is not clear that the critter got eyes or not. The floaters don't have eyes either. In any case, that's like 2 or 3 critter types. This makes the feature hardly really worth it. Especially because the simple truth is: If hitting eyes or head does nothing, then you can as well stop using the extra ap for aiming and use normal single shot or burst instead.
  6. Really? I actually don't think it was in any kind increasing the fun. Hitting the head / eyes with 95% hit chance should be the most obvious choice for everyone, and aiming at the eyes always has been the best choice in Fo1 and Fo2. There has never been a reason to target any other body part unless you are doing it for the lolz, as it was just increasing the combat time (you kill slower, which in return gives the enemy more time to shoot at you). Like I wrote above, even the groin knock-down usually kept the enemy out of combat for only one turn. Better spend that bullet on his head, then you possibly kill him with a critical hit.
  7. PS: I don't think that aimed shots are really a that good idea. Yeah, people will think back at Fallout with this, but then again... In Fallout your target always had been eyes... or the head, if eyes had a too low hit chance. Sometimes you knocked someone down for a turn with hitting the groin for lolz, but that's it then. Pretty sure the same will happen with Wasteland 2 then. Just shoot the body part that kills fastest, everything else is probably a waste of ammo.
  8. I'll doubt this. Pretty sure what we will get now in patches is only going to be on the mechanical side.
  9. The new Alien movie would be after Aliens and before Alien 3. At this point in time Hicks (not Reese ) is still alive. Now that sounds like a cheap way of crowbaring the story to fit with the other movies, but honestly, I don't care. I would love it to see Ripley and Hicks again.
  10. Hotline Miami 2 preorder is up on Steam, by the way. Release on March 10th or something.
  11. Yanks and their ****ing flags. So why wasn't he doing it himself if it's so important for him?
  12. Looks like credit card only.
  13. Strange to see another DX:HR post so long after the games release. Damn, reminds that I so much wanted to get more DLC for this game... but nothing happened.
  14. Yes, say no to alcoholism! Kind of stopped playing Dying Light. The performance is kind of... not so good, which kills my mood.
  15. Wondering if that modding tools are still a thing to come. And also that possible expansion pack Fargo talked about.
  16. Yeah, thought pretty much the same.
  17. From what we can see in the gameplay videos so far, it probably will be quite similar. And seeing how Ground Zeroes is made up, I wouldn't be surprised if Phantom Pain will get a similar mission structure as Peace Walker had. Me personally I would be happy with it. Similar in broad strokes maybe. Peace Walker and Portable Ops have their structures because they were on portable systems. They were designed so you could play in short segments with plentiful stopping points. And with the memory restrictions on the PSP. With them going for open world I don't suspect that'll be the case in Phantom Pain. Big maps with lots to do, where the mission structure in the portable games was always one thing to do at a time. Yeah, but you also get the Base building and Base management in Phantom Pain. So I am pretty sure you will be able to "get back to Base" at nearly any time or after finishing off a bigger mission target. Right now I am guessing that the Phantom Pain gameplay will be mission style and these missions will feel like Ground Zeroes.

  19. "If you set up a trap or Yrden sign in front of the enemy, they will actively avoid it." So why use it then at all? :>
  20. Finished Metal Gear Rising. Not a that bad game, but way too over the top for my taste. MGS4 was a lot already, but this...
  21. Apparently PornHubHD is free today. You single guys know what to do.
  22. That music. So Warhammer. lel. Especially with the music at the end it's like some music fan dub.
  23. Successfully resurrected it and then gave Obsidian a chance to improve it...Bastards! Just that Fallout wasn't dead at this time, even though many people try to claim it was. We had such discussions already before Bethesda had their Fo3 released.
  24. Thank you for reminding me that I have eye floaters. I forgot about them and didn't noticed them for the past months. Now they are back.
  25. Would buy it.
