What are you playing now?
Still doing New Vegas too. Though, not much playing. Mainly modding... for months already. Should find me another game soon.

Pictures of your games Part 6
This thing is damn long by now. Got a few custom things in it too which I never felt worthy to release to the public. Mostly I try to keep my game "as clean as possible" - so no mods that drastically change everything. I'd say JSawyer is the biggest (gameplay) change-mod that I am running. And because this thread is about screenshots... working on the next mod already.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
Truth told, I kind of stopped playing TW3 already 2 or so weeks ago. The game is just too big. I mean, it's awesome. Everytime I play it, a rainbow of awesomeness is shooting straight into my face... but I just can't get my body to start the game, because I feel like I am wasting too much of my free time.

Increased the amount of grids loaded to 8. It's the maximum I can go without feeling a huge performance hit. You really need the 4GB patch for that, though, and even then sometimes (if you walk around a lot without fast travel), the terrain isn't loading fast enough. Have to quicksave & quickload in such a case, or simply fast travel. It's totally worth the better graphics, though. Couldn't stand the ugly LOD any longer.

Haha, holy bananas. First I don't manage to get there at all and now *two* of my mods are on the nexus frontpage and it looks like they will remain there for a little while. So much internet fame.

Fallout 4 is coming!
I find it not even worthy to discuss. Really, obviously it is an abstraction- we are still playing a game, after all. In the end I find it more important how the worldmap in the game is presented. Stuff I like to repeat all the time: What makes Skyrim feel small to me is quests sending me from one edge of the world to the other, and people who know each other despite living extremely far away.

Ok folks, everyone who got a Nexus account now vote this thing. If my calculations are correct, I need like 5 more votes to get on the damn frontpage. It's god damn hard to get on the frontpage unless you are making mods about boobs. Want to raise some awareness for my stuff. I need internet fame to fuel this body. :>

Fallout 4 is coming!
I don't really think that's true. I mean, it's certainly a part of it, but at least I personally accepted that Fallout is never going back to Fo1/2 gameplay anymore. FNV shows that you can still make a great Fallout game. It's just that Bethesda sucks at everything I personally want in a Fallout game. That's a good branching story, well written characters and quests, no silly stupid stuff (or at least make it possible to deactivate that) and a coherent, working, believable game world (within the boundaries of the Fallout world and the already existing lore). Fallout is a shooter game now, so making it play like a good shooter is acceptable (FNV is a much better shooter already than Fo3. The gunplay in Fo3 is pure crap). Oh, and I absolutely hate how Bethesda has to reinvent everything all the time. Like, instead of adding the original cool weapons to Fo3, they had to reinvent *everything* and give it the same name. Combat Shotgun in Fo1/2 == super awesome. Combat Shotgun in Fo3 == lelwhat. Stuff like this is what I simply can't understand and won't accept.

Fallout 4 is coming!
The only thing I really like so far is that power armor finally looks like power armor. It's huge and bulky and you seem to feel it. Not this paper knight armor like in Fo3. Though, I am worried that it will be nothing but a timed super power, going by the gameplay video, where the player first puts in some kind of energy source before it opens and can be used. /edit: But I think it's stupid how the T-60b suddenly looks a lot more like a modified version of the T-45b than the T-50b, which kind of would have made more sense, if you go by the numbers. By the way, the power armor in Fo3 was T-45D and not B. I wonder if that's on purpose or a mistake.

Fallout 4 is coming!
Fallout 2 has *no* timer. The only thing that might make you think it has a timer is the 13 years limit which forces both Fo1 and 2 to stop. This is engine related and there exists a fix / workaround for that. But come on... 13 (!) ingame years(!). Even the first times I played Fo2 (which is a lot bigger than Fo1, as we all certainly know) I never needed more than maximum 1 1/2 years to finish everything in that game. What the hell other people are doing in the game to get to the 13 years limit?? The timer in Fo1 ends as soon as you find the waterchip, which is usually not hard at all. Anway, this is what I really love about Fallout 1. You've got a pressing task, so deal with it. What, you are getting distracted by side stuff that isn't related to your task? Then don't complain if you fail your main task due to doing something else all the time... After all, the game world is open. You can go back to everything else at any other time (besides, you can pretty much do all the quests in the first few locations and still find the waterchip in time. You just have to avoid running aimlessly over the worldmap over and over again... It also helps to be aware of what you are doing. There is a red story line from location to location- everywhere is at least one NPC who leads you to the next town. Follow the trail and you find the waterchip easily.)

NON-Obsidian South Park RPG Sequel Announced!
Well, it's kinda obvious he would say that. You don't really ever have to ask that question. Only dumb people would complain and throw feces, as - like written above - it would burn bridges you might not want to burn yet.

Fallout 4 is coming!
Actually Fallout 3 has a crafting system. It is very basic though, and done via some ugly message boxes. PS: As far as my understanding for the Fo3 / FNV engine goes, it would be pretty possible to split up all clothes into multiple parts and having players equip them one by one. The available bones are: Not sure about the last three, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can refit them into "pants" or something like that. Then - and with a lot work for new models of everything - it probably would be possible to play dressup in these games too.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Just released a new version. Tweaked the model and texture, also added a bonus holster with some feather stuff from the unique brush gun. Removed the scripts and simply made them craftable via workbench... Guess that's more what people want, and who am I to deny that. Especially considering this would never work with any of the custom weapon mod releases.
