Heh, reminds me of how little magick spells I can use, because somehow most of what I have damages half of my team all the time. (Doesn't really help that combat usually turns into a moshpit after 2 seconds)

I remember when back in the days everyone was hating on New Reno, because it felt so out of place. Me personally, I stopped caring about it by now and I blame Fallout 3 for that... it was showing me how much worse it still can get.

Today was my last day with ****ty pay. From tomorrow on I will earn at least twice the amount. Especially this month will be great, because it means pay from last month + pay from my overwork hours and remaining vacation days + the new pay. $$$$$$$$$

Bleh, I really, really hate to say this, but... I also wish Prometheus never happened. The movie had so much potential that was just wasted with silly crap. Such disappointment. I have no hopes for Prometheus 2 and if the new Alien movie had to be "adjusted" to fit Prometheus then it gives me a really bad feeling...

Yeah. They usually teleport right next to my ranged folks, who can't really stand a chance against them. Though, at least it forced me to become a little more creative in combat. Had to fight like 5 and more of them at once, which resulted in me using all availble skills I got for my magic dudes. Also I learned to like the chanter with his skeleton spell who die like flies, but distract the enemy for a few seconds.

Indeed, but style uber alles. PS: Also found out that the icon is used for two helmets. The Frog Helmet (which is the correct one) and another full face helmet, which is the one I posted above. So that's where the confusion came from. /Edit: lel.

Ok, swapped armor with Kana now too and it indeed happens. So... yeah... better don't swap armors like this, just in case. /Edit: A bit deeper down on that reddit thread:

I am a little disappointed with the amount of armor visuals, though. Feels to me like there are only 5 different sets. Also, and this is the most biggest disappointment i had in a long time... First I was like "oh god yeah!11" and then suddenly "nooooooo". /edit: Wuut. Just checked it again. It must have been a bug, because now it is correct and exactly how it should have been. Such madness. Game is now 11/10.

Nope, tested it. Double clicked various items and my stats do not change. Even made a new character just for testing and it stays all the same. At least my ranger character noticed no change at all. PS: I found out the game puts your savegames in "sub folders" in the menu. So if you start a new game with a new character, the savegames won't mix up with your other saves. cool.

Am I the only one who is getting a kind of Arcanum vibe from Pillars of Eternity? It almost feels like a pre-Arcanum to me, the world turning into a more steampunk-esque setting within the next 100 or so years. Or maybe it's just the music. Damn, I want to replay Arcanum.

Wait... "if you really loved this game"... The game is out since a few hours and we can already say stuff like "If you really loved this game"? Same for the negative reviews. How the hell is that possible so short after the release? Sometimes I don't know what's wrong with people.

Created my ranger character with wolf companion. But I am thinking about restarting and getting a deer companion. Not sure yet. Wolf is kinda a cliche.

Just took a minute of time to think about this... ... Damn, I didn't expected that I really don't care about any of this. Is it because I am getting older and such things simply don't bother me anymore? I feel disconnected to any recent internet drama. Please someone explain.

What kind of drama is going on?

I still don't really know what to think about this game. How will it work? Does it have singleplayer? How much fake is the walking on planets and space stations? Will it be an MMO like Eve?

Wish the amount of my riches would be this much. :> First thing I'll do is to move out of my current town. I spend way too much time on driving to and from worm, imo. After that I'll think of something else.

If everything works out as planned, I will get a truckton of more money from next month on. I will have to work a bit more, but it is worth it for the first time in years. Damn, what will I do with all my new riches?

So I finished the first workday again after a 2 weeks vacation and for the first time in months I dream again... And the dream is a mix of The Walking Dead (watched latest episode yesterday), Battlestar Galactica (finished the show for the second time the day before yesterday) and a woman I haven't seen since 8 years now.
