  1. Sorry, too lazy to jump back in time and search for that interview. If you mean source for that new classic mode thingy, it's from that reddit rumor post.
  2. The funny thing is, back in the days I was all like "never will I buy only digital! I NEED A BOX!" and today I am all like "eh, where the hell should I drop that damn box? Give me digital only!". I simply have no room for all the boxes and stuff. My shelves are full and I don't want to clutter my walls with everything. To me nowadays it's actually a blessing not to have a box and all that jazz anymore.
  3. Same for me. When I needed some files for modding... instead of walking 1 meter, opening the box and taking the discs to install it... I bought it cheap on steam and downloaded it. Makes me feel bad and lazy.
  4. Of course NMA is a place of joy and happiness right now. That "classic mode" sounds stupid too. I remember they said the same thing about Fallout 3 back in the hype-train-tyme. "You will be able to zoom out very far in third person view, almost making it like in the classic games" Todd or Pete said - much lel. Not only was third person perspective ugly (player character gliding over everything), it was also unpractical as hell and pretty much impossible to play with if you zoomed out to the maximum. So much to the "classic feeling".
  5. Yeah, but some parts sound really strange. Like this "first releasing for PS4 and stuff and later in a 'advanced version' for PS3, etc." - makes really no sense to me. Also, if there really comes a spin-off and it is being developed by Behaviour Interactive.... As far as I can see, they have zero experience with deep RPGs of any kind and mainly released license games from movie titles. I find this very hard to believe.
  6. Nope, that's not how Bethesda pr works. I am pretty sure they are aiming for a end-of-2015 release. They are using the hype train now and release the game when it's at the high peak. If there is one thing Bethesda is really good at then it's driving the pr machine.
  7. You can still screw him kind of in other kind of ways.
  8. Folks, I am throwing out another new New Vegas mod. This time I'll make Raul a tiny bit more useful.
  9. "This dog looks a hell of a lot like Dogmeat, a mutt that first appeared in Fallout 1 as a Mad Max reference" Yes... no. Actually it doesn't look at all like Dogmeat. Stopped reading there. If you want a real trailer analysis, you better go there: http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Blog:News/Fallout_4:_Welcome_Home_-_Trailer_analysis_and_summary
  10. Just imagine someone would port New Vegas into the Fallout 4 engine. It would be so super awesome. More ambient shadow (ambient shadow at all...), better performance with same graphic quality, etc... Sounds pretty cool.
  11. I don't like it. Looks like shait to me. Really thought Bethesda can't hurt me anymore, but I just found out they still can.
  12. here's a question about fallout 3 What do the people on the capital wasteland eat? in fallout 1, 2 and NV you see farms with crops and brahmin in every town you visit... in 3 there is a single brahmin pen in the entire game as far as i remember. also, how can cars that were destroyed by nukes over 200 years ago, still have gas in their tanks? im too tired to keep making a list (plants, animals, mutant and so on) but i think i make my point non sensical world building at it's finest indeed This point was raised way back when and it actually diminished my enjoyment of Fallout 3...for the benefit of my soul no doubt. Since then I'd say Bethesda have learnt their world building lessons, Skyrim had tons of internal consistency. Except for the point that *everyone* in Skyrim seems to know each other. There is a stupid farmer in the west who tells you to visit his friend so-and-so in the very far east. Oh and look, there is a villager who lost is precious sword... in a dungeon at the end of the world! The game world is never creating a feeling of "this is big!" for me, simply because of the stupid way Bethesda did their quests. They are pretty much sending you over the whole worldmap from the very beginning of the game. Fallout 3 had some good looking locations (like the Brotherhood Citadel), but that's about it. Also it's depending a lot on the setting, imo. They had huge city ruins to work with, while that isn't really the case in New Vegas- mostly desert and flat land, can't simply put something like a huge Brotherhood Citadel into one corner and explain it with logic. Other than that, Fallout 3 was an amusement park with random attractions on every corner- doesn't matter if it's fitting the setting or not. My god, just remember this stupid emo vampire questline. Or that location where everyone thought they are living in a perfect 50s town. Or the "big trading hub" in D.C. that got like 1 brahmin and 5 people.
  13. Hey, maybe President Eden will be back in a new power suit, fighting an epic battle against Liberty Prime.
  14. I think the Rock is a cool dude, but I don't know if this is necessary.
  15. About that blade oil mechanic: I actually like it now. Hated the timer thing in TW2. Just wish they had done the same thing with using the whetstone and armor table. This 16 minutes timer... It annoys the hell out of me. Getting like 5 or 10 charges of "sharper attack" and "better hit protection" would have felt better to me.
  16. I think Alice has been the last Buron movie I am ever going to watch. This movie is... it's so bad. I regret the time wasted on this.
  17. Is this real? I find it hard to believe that "normal" people would ever think that this is a smart thing to write.
  18. I am still busy with getting my new apartment ready. Moved about 2 weeks ago and there is so much to do... so many boxes to push... At least it is slowly shaping up. Now I am pretty much only waiting for my new couch and other stuff to arrive. Was said to take up to 8 or 9 weeks... meh.
  19. This thing is so awesome.
  20. Is that dice game not in tw3 anymore? If so, why? I thought it worked quite well.
  21. How can you be so sure about that.
  22. Well, what can I say. Doesn't matter where I move, on every road I find enemies. It's not a lie, it's exactly my experience so far. So far there was not a single road from one location to the next where I didn't found hounds, wolves, nekkers or similar, even if they are but a tiny bit off the road. Really, the game world is full with monsters. Yes I can ignore most of them, still they are everywhere.
  23. Choices seems to be the new buzz in the industry right now. But let's wait and see first, because oftentimes these games are still as linear as ever before.
  24. Isn't that resolution a tiny bit too much? I'm using that high resolution mod. Its at 1280*720 windowed. You sure about this? The interface looks way too tiny for 1280x720px. To compare, this is me with a resolution of 1280x720px: Your screenshot is a truckton wider.
  25. Isn't that resolution a tiny bit too much? /edit: Dat arse. Also, Geralts hands so huge. Is that meant to tell us something? But... At least I wasn't the only one with some sexy tyme!
