Just uploaded a new version of my Betsy mod. It's main purpose is to add a fail-safe mechanism for one of the new NPCs. Depending on the player using mods like Freesie Open, he could spawn in the wrong cell, making it impossible for the player to reach him, and therefore making it impossible to finish the companion quest. Originally I've added a compatibility patch for that, but people are unable to read... so now I've used the crowbar to workaround this issue. Still makes me kinda happy though, as I never liked to have an extra compatibility patch.

Oh, and I wonder if we have to drive these small cars or it is possible to upgrade to one of these huge trucks.

But it seems the cars have "global hitpoints"? There is a green bar that shows the current car health. Would like it more if it had been like in e.g. Interstate '76 back in the old days, with a damage model for wheel, engine, chassis front, left, right,... etc.

This thing is damn long by now. Got a few custom things in it too which I never felt worthy to release to the public. Mostly I try to keep my game "as clean as possible" - so no mods that drastically change everything. I'd say JSawyer is the biggest (gameplay) change-mod that I am running. And because this thread is about screenshots... working on the next mod already.

Truth told, I kind of stopped playing TW3 already 2 or so weeks ago. The game is just too big. I mean, it's awesome. Everytime I play it, a rainbow of awesomeness is shooting straight into my face... but I just can't get my body to start the game, because I feel like I am wasting too much of my free time.

Damn, why does it still take so many months till the new Deus Ex game is out. I want it now.

Increased the amount of grids loaded to 8. It's the maximum I can go without feeling a huge performance hit. You really need the 4GB patch for that, though, and even then sometimes (if you walk around a lot without fast travel), the terrain isn't loading fast enough. Have to quicksave & quickload in such a case, or simply fast travel. It's totally worth the better graphics, though. Couldn't stand the ugly LOD any longer.

Haha, holy bananas. First I don't manage to get there at all and now *two* of my mods are on the nexus frontpage and it looks like they will remain there for a little while. So much internet fame.

Updated my Betsy mod. It is now possible to turn her into a radio new vegas broadcaster! For if you think the world is too silent...

I find it not even worthy to discuss. Really, obviously it is an abstraction- we are still playing a game, after all. In the end I find it more important how the worldmap in the game is presented. Stuff I like to repeat all the time: What makes Skyrim feel small to me is quests sending me from one edge of the world to the other, and people who know each other despite living extremely far away.

People should email Bethesda about ab Obsidian Spinoff. No stupid internet petition. Bomb their emails and show them directly that such a game is wanted.

It's god damn hard to get on the frontpage unless you are making mods about boobs. Want to raise some awareness for my stuff. I need internet fame to fuel this body. :>

If I tell you there is none right now, does that mean it is impossible for one to exist at some point? (First Person) RPGs don't need to have crappy combat and truth told, if combat in Fallout 4 will feel like in Rage, then that's actually good news.

I don't really think that's true. I mean, it's certainly a part of it, but at least I personally accepted that Fallout is never going back to Fo1/2 gameplay anymore. FNV shows that you can still make a great Fallout game. It's just that Bethesda sucks at everything I personally want in a Fallout game. That's a good branching story, well written characters and quests, no silly stupid stuff (or at least make it possible to deactivate that) and a coherent, working, believable game world (within the boundaries of the Fallout world and the already existing lore). Fallout is a shooter game now, so making it play like a good shooter is acceptable (FNV is a much better shooter already than Fo3. The gunplay in Fo3 is pure crap). Oh, and I absolutely hate how Bethesda has to reinvent everything all the time. Like, instead of adding the original cool weapons to Fo3, they had to reinvent *everything* and give it the same name. Combat Shotgun in Fo1/2 == super awesome. Combat Shotgun in Fo3 == lelwhat. Stuff like this is what I simply can't understand and won't accept.
