  1. I must be missing something... Is it that you want a new Baldur's Gate, or just all of the past ones (and expansions)? If that then here (if you don't already know of it). http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/baldurs_gat..._original_saga/ http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/baldurs_gate_2_complete http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/planescape_torment http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/icewind_dale_complete http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/icewind_dale_2
  2. I still have them installed [using DosBox] (along with EOB 1&2) Great games. I had heard that it was not just the brothel but several things in the town, and perhaps elswhere. You've probably seen it, but for those that have not... Here is a link to Tim's interview on MattChat, where he talks about the beginnings of Fallout, Temple, and Arcanum, among other things.
  3. Bloodlines? I could not find it anywhere boxed, so I bought access to it on Steam. The game won't run "as is" from them if you have more than 2 Gig RAM, and their official tech support advice is to tell you to cripple your RAM indefinitely. (I had to resort to a 3rd party hack to get it to work, but it works now and is very playable.)
  4. On Wikipedia he is listed as the lead world designer on Diablo III.
  5. For me... Signing my name to an online petition is tantamount to clapping at a public debate and hollering "Good answer, good Answer!".
  6. I was worried about that; Seems the worries were founded. The game looks (visually) fantastic, but it looks like they've changed the gameplay away from the original.
  7. Yeah... I was not at all clear (the way I wrote it)...but I only meant that the SSI games used the early D&D rules, (not a 'gold box' D&D set ~though... the Immortals books were gold, come to think of it ). That's pretty cool to know; and understandable about the Hobbits.
  8. Isn't GoldBox original D&D rules though? My first D&D set was the red boxed set (and red books), but that would have been 83-84' or so, not before (I think). Though I remember playing D&D in the 70's (not the color of the books though )
  9. I only know of the Gold Box series (and the Legend series). They make that?
  10. Twitter. Ah... Same... Not going to bother getting a twitter account.
  11. When did that happen!? I heard nothing about it. Here are mine (though they are more technically traits )
  12. Homeworld. *If I'm in a multiplayer mood, then there is also Homeworld:Cataclysm, and Homeworld 2.
  13. If you're worried about hackers... I'd avoid using any of those self checkout kiosks, if your are not using cash... Some of those things are running unpatched Windows 2000, with live internet connections.
  14. I have them all, but you can get Realms 1&2 for free with pre-order (and purchase) of the Witcher 2 from GOG.com (I had Realms 1,2 & 3 from before the announcement.)
  15. Ever play with Marcus and Myron at the same time?
  16. I think you are right... but this just makes it worse, no? They could have duplicated the Mine weapon, and just made a bear trap model with a paralyzing critical effect. **I can imagine that melee weapon latching onto a large enemy and them thrashing the helpless PC around left and right ~or worse... Some scene like with Marve and the killer kid in Sin City. (not like they'd allow that in the game, but its only common sense).
  17. I find this cute. I recall the thread that asked for deploy-able bear traps, and I see they did the same thing with the eyes as I did in my own armor mod last year, (the only one that did that at the time ~that I am aware of).
  18. Fantastic! This is one that I would look forward to; and of course Diablo 3, and Gearbox's DNF, *(also Myth4, Dungeonkeepr3, and an Oni 2 ~if these could happen)
  19. Was that in the game pre-patch? I seem to recall all these signs popping up in FO3 pointing the way to Megaton, that I'd never seen before...
  20. Is it just me or was that ending sort of a rip off of Spock's "death" in Wrath of Khan?
  21. Actually... As I understand it, its really ironic... See Fallout (1) was never supposed to have NPC party members, but they hacked them in late in development (this is why the AI is so odd, and why you have to steal from them to trade equipment). In Fallout 3 (as I heard it), there were never supposed to be NPC party members, but they hacked them in late in development ~this is why the ending turned out to not make sense if you had Fawkes.
  22. Added it to my account it! Thanks for the heads up. I thought was that. Edit: ** If I'm not mistaken, the same company made Secret of the Silver Blades or Gateway to the Savage Frontier (don't remember which).
  23. I have my own problem with the Plasma caster though... The gun shoots bolts in . (I can't help but play TPP whenever possible/practical).
  24. There may be a design flaw with energy weapons. I haven't been following it close, but these guys have... Much of this has been my chief dislike since 2008 (almost verbatim).*especially the part about 'perception of the wasteland'. Arcanum was much (if not exactly) the same way. I seem to recall reading somewhere that in Arcanum, you could actually walk coast to coast in real time ~but it would take about 48 hours (never tried this myself).
  25. No, and I don't think they should; that song has a tremendously sensitive meaning to some families that lost loved ones in the war. They shouldn't make a game of it. (Nice song though, and otherwise a good choice). *** The reason I joined the Bethsoft forum was actually to email Pete Hines and Emil with a few song suggestions ~never got an answer yet and that was 2007 My suggestions were these...
