  1. The latter's a nice song to relax to (or be really morose to, I suppose).
  2. Nah it's preferable. If my mother's family had done it more, they'd be less of the sneaky vipers they are now.

Well finished Last Colony. That was...so so I suppose, nice happy ending - although kind of wanted the CU to win out in the end. Am left with trepidation about reading Zoe's Tale though, heh, an entire book from that character's POV doesn't seem appealing after the third book.
  4. You just need a good family dustup. We have those every now and then, very good stress reliever.
  5. Nope didn't know thatl, learn something new each day. Would the revolution have to not occur though ? Supposed to be divergent not completely the reverse. Tale does make a good point about needing to continue the story, though, so it should be someplace outside the sphere of the previous game to build on that (I'd prefer more stuff about NCR than any of the FO3 factions).
  6. Well they don't have to put you in Cuba, could just have it as an endpoint or something or the other. That and was my lame attempt at wit, Americans trying to flee to Cuba, har har. Then again, I wonder what state Cuba is in in the Fallout universe.
  7. That's about a typical day's body count for Mogadishu, no ?
  8. Yeah have to vote on Thursday. Thankfully the NDP hasn't trucked out Layton's corpse.
  9. Maybe there can be a subplot of Cuba as a Promised Land.
  10. The Vault's very useful for crap like that. That would be an amusing quest to give though, making you wander around the wasteland, sifting through items.
  11. Hangar where Loyal and Jack are ?
  12. Well, it'd have to be noticeable, you don't want them just ignoring the lash.
  13. Hitman Absolution Interview
  14. Well, they tacked a surcharge on plastic bags here and it worked well at least at one chain (80% reduction in plastic bag use). Was popular with TO's yuppie set too. Not really a 'sin' tax but in the same vein of 'do the good thing - or you'll pay more'.
  15. Well if they did it here, it'd be nothing more than a revenue grab meant to sucker people into thinking the government actually is concerned with the desired consequence.
  16. Well, assuming nothing else at all affects people's intakes of fattening foods.
  17. To hell, I go.
  18. Well that is one aspect of being paranoid. See EVE forums for that in spades, heh, and speaking of, this might not mean much to any of you guys, but it might be interesting - http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/10/02/ev...the-war-on-lag/ And a more thorough explanation - http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=900
  19. Also apparently that goat puzzle was supposed to be brutal in the original, all the more reason to play it. Still nothing was worse for me than the Dig's reactor repair.
  20. Hm, I should have played the original before the Director's Cut I guess (it is included in the GOG offer).
  21. Yep, they see schemes were there are none, eh ? Interesting lot of people.
  22. Funnily enough, when I first heard that term was looking up on it and was amused to find "soldiers" upset at the use of a feminine term for their manly role Successfully tricked myself into being motivated for work today, not really sure how which is annoying as I can't use it in the future.
  23. Good way to sneak some revenue in.
