  1. I dunno, COD4 had that scene when your buddies all buy it in slow motion, MW2 had Roach and Ghost getting torched. Wouldn't say either of those is anti-war. Maybe they'll expose you to atrocities on both side though, that might do it.
  2. What would make it an anti-war game, I wonder.
  3. Reminds me of ones about Jewish mothers.
  4. Had one recently although this isn't particularly fancy - just one where I was aware I was dreaming. I had dreamed there was a large ventilation fan in the ceiling of my room taking all the hot air out. I had spend the night before wondering on how to improve ventilation in the house to get rid of hot air on the upper floor. Dull dream, but was amusing how in the dream my dream-self kept thinking "Riiiight, this isn't real. I know why I'm seeing that fan there..". At least it's better than the "Oh ****, I failed an exam I wrote 6 years ago!!" dream
  5. Raise a bug for that with the OpenOffice people.
  6. Meh, just another corpse from someone I don't know. Still not getting that thunderstorm this city needs, but today isn't as brutal as earlier this week, so can walk the dachshunds without them getting heat stroke immediately, then back to reading over poorly written specifications and trying to understand why some dude 7 years ago did this ****ed up bit of code.
  7. Number 5 seems the best. or 6. Are all pretty 'meh' though.
  8. Pretty sure every one of you has seen this, but it's new to me!
  9. My trust was abused
  10. http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/fifa-12-vi...ls-man-city-kit Had to laugh at this trailer. Good comment on this being part of some elaborate way around the FFP regs
  11. In universe names I guess, I had thought they were described somewhere, might just be previous knowledge causing that though. Well, not like that matter at all at this point, heh.
  12. That's a pretty low thing to say, heh. For the sentences can they make him serve them all consecutively ?
  13. Report from TV2 saying the guy was a tall blonde guy. Not sure what you can glean from that.
  14. 20-30 dead at the camp. Sad.
  15. I can. Be cool, join the crowd!
  16. A testament to smelly Torontonians, lady in the office across the hall tells me I'm the nicest smelling man she's encountered all day. Probably should have handled that better than a "wha..huh? err.." . Today I battle insane bugs, have discovered that caffeine and anger works well with Juno Reactor for my productivity.
  17. Yeah the medallion was poorly implemented. I guess they wanted to use it as some last resort type thing after you've given up on inspecting an area. Should just make the radius and duration larger.
  18. That's about the only time he'd have killed someone in any event. Other than that, he skips amongst some gridlocked cars. Saw bikers and cyclists do that a lot in London - which seems to be an eternal traffic jam, incidentally. I wonder how people drive in Moscow.
  19. Eh, I found his skill with the bike to be impressive, pretty much all to it.
  20. Good to see Rift is still going, wasn't for me. But seemed like a decent MMOG, launch went well too.
  21. Fair enough, I didn't say it would kill WoW instantly. But if it's fun to play, and is Star Wars, they could very well start sucking players from WoW, burnouts or bandwagoners or rage-quitters (people PO'd about crap, generally tend to be addicts though. MPC had an article about this, granted was kind 'meh' in its analysis on why WoW is stale and will wither over time. So it could kill WoW, just very, slowly, maybe. But then Blizzard's "next gen" MMORPG is out in a couple of years.
  22. Kotick Interview at Forbes Going to reinvent Guitar Hero. Kind of funny to read the title too. WoW might suffer due to burnout and people wanting to try something new (that they can get burnt out on in a couple of years, anyway).
  23. I'd hope so, for a time (maybe 07-08 ?) it seeemed like they didn't do that.
  24. Yeah, the heat is not fun. In the elevator with some suit that was soaked through his shirt, sheesh. Everyone's stinking today it seems, either that or just Toronto's general odour is stronger. Streetcar ride should be fun too, get to ride with sweaty homeless dudes, hipsters and scowling women, hah. Can't wait for winter, though, cold is easier to defeat than oppressive heat.
