    Well given that this isn't fully voiced, it makes avoiding this issue easy - I'd imagine making a Michelle Thorton would have pressed their budget. Then again, maybe they just wanted to tell a story about a male protagonist in those games.

    Ah, well that's pretty easy stuff, can't imagine why this would be a concern from Obsidian.

    Ugh, bad flashbacks at the mention of OGRE (that old Pogo web browser AT&T wanted done..). Still cool list though, if only I had talent at designing models

    I am wondering how long they can keep spinning up about this, though. Your bitterness at games past aside, when you say you want the world to react to your PC being female, what kind of reactions are you thinking of, out of curiosity ?

    What's this crazy talk ? Don't you know they need us to tell them to make a good plot, create good female characters, do proper QA, etc., etc.

    They do clean up threads when people are being 'rude' to others, maybe your concept of 'rude' posts doesn't mesh with theirs ?

    It'd be neat to have an out of shape character, can't run for any notable period of times with out huffing and puffing.

    Some really tender people here, heh. I'd hope they're just giving you lot the illusion of listening to you barring reactions to their announcements.

    Would you really be seeing all that much of them, based on the perspective though ? Given that, just have to worry about the way they're written.

    Well, if you're using Firefox, adblock the images, simple. Depends on the avatar though, some sort of weird epilepsy inducing one would probably get nixed by a mod.

    Specialized ammunition and grenades would be a nice addition, and you having to make them, but oh well. Lost a bunch of guys due to a car explosion, had to abort and evac the 3 survivors, so my current game looks like a failure. Shame too, I got a Major and got the Squaddie bonus for all new guys - which actually sucks as I have 8 or 9 snipers.

    The messages he left about US foreign policy might indicate he's not actually a conspiracy nut that much and that's just being played up to make him sympathetic. Wonder if they can sue him for damages though ?

    Well, they could add a minigun, autocannon from the original. Or ammo types, maybe.

    Maybe we'll get DLC to add some more inventory slots. Although I guess it'll just be new alien types and guns.

    That's kind of a shame, especially since lasers can burn out light cover (something the AI seems to mystically do to my troops all the time incidentally) or just use it to torch a vehicle.

    Hm, panic's not fun unless they've got a rocket launcher near a gas station.

    Mostly retreading stuff, though. Thought we'd moved on to that Pakistani girl getting shot.

    I like the bit about this being a CIA plot, heh. I'm not holding my breath for anything solid to come out of it, hopefully she doesn't get killed when she returns home though.

    Not to impressed by that being an 'option'. I guess he doesn't want KS to take a cut, out of all the things in this I'm surprised to see that is an issue to not back it, but that's people.
