    Looked over some interview candidate's C code for the pre-interview test here. Didn't examine it functionally but lots of bad code like manipulating a constant char * or calling strlen on an integer (that has the length of the string...). Even worse is that he graduated from my University

    Most of the bugs I encounter would be easy to fix, if the codebase wasn't so arcane.

    Luckily managed to speed up the scrolling on this with one of the managers behind me here at work My pen drawer at work. Also need a better camera on my phone, I think. Out of sight is the box of cheap BiC ones I keep to lend people when they ask for one as the bastards just steal them.

    Why is that odd ? And hey, you're about the same age of some guy starving to death due to poverty as well. I should definitely do something neat for my birthday this year, one of those where all the digits change.

    I'm all for player being able to shoot themselves in the foot, so I'd be ok with some variation on Gorth's post above. It is fun to go on a killing spree sometimes, was fun to finally "settle" my accounts with those stealing kids in The Den at least

    Wonder how grimdark they could make it. Can't very well go about executing mutant kids in a game these days (well that and maybe my sessions were too 'war crime' oriented.

    Meh, a social life is overrated! Today was a so so today, urgent issue waited for me when I got in at 0740, and I wanted today to be a nice calm day too. Looking ahead to a boring weekend, cleaning, watching the doggies and maybe studying a bit.

    Ah ok, you meant that. Yeah, I think it's been that way since 2 at least. Then again Civ V's AI is so bizarre in attitudes, I'm surprised some aren't impressed by that, heh

    Yep. Even in real life, cultural genocide usually doesn't give you a great rep. Oh reputation, meh. Thought there was some happiness change or some serious penalty to it. And not genocide if you just take their cities.
