This ship designed especially as killer of carriers. First hypersonic missile salvo just covered entire carrier group. Intercept of hypersonic targets it's very difficult task (as we see above for US navy even intercept of sub-sonic targets is very difficult task). As we see in Syria, even small amount of modern Russian anti-ship missiles increased risks for US too much and huge Nato war machine is stopped. http://youtu.be/m5hhvQIkKgg Comparing of US Guided Missile Cruiser's armed by subsonic missiles and Russian's ships armed by hypersonic missiles is not correct. Russian design own unique classes of ship and traditionally they are better armed than same size US navy ships. Yah, but the point is that super cruiser is just one ship, I don't imagine it has the air defense needed to repel a carrier wing and other surface vessels in a fight. Subsonic missiles can still blow the hell out of the Russian boat, after all, even if it does take the carrier with it. For some reason I'm recalling some stat about carriers being built to take 8 cruise missiles at least, but that seems like some mil-porn stat.

As with a lot in Trinidad, am a mutt of sorts. Black, Indian, Portuguese and possibly some Arab or Iranian (no one knows where my maternal great-grandfather came from )

Press LCtrl to avoid assassination ?

Come now oby, that one Russian ship would probably get wasted by the carrier group. Either it's strike craft or it's escorts.

"with jobs" and "play the game enough" kinda contradict each other, no? at least, for me to justify tossing $15 out the window every month I have to play the game at least 20 hours a week. and even now, while I'm a student, I can't dedicate more than 4-5 hours a week to games, let alone one game. Eh ? Not at all. $15 a month isn't that much in terms of entertainment, ideally look at $1/hr as the target - and that's easily achievable. I work 10 hrs a day and finding time to spend in WoW isn't that hard, even if it's just an hour a night. But again, this depends on the person.

I'd be surprised if for some people work wasn't a means to some form of end.
-
People wonder at that ? Usually it's either this inflated and fragile sense of self where any criticism is instantly some bleeding heart type or they're just the jock types in school that have power. that think so. Cops are civilians as well, though I guess some of them also forget that. But for them fighting cartels, well If they think they are hard (see the video or the vast other crap the NYPD pulls), why not do the world some good by fighting the worst?

Still be better than BOS.

this. subs are for kids who play all day every day and pay with their moms' credit cards. one time purchase would be best, of course Or people with jobs that play the game enough to justify $15 a month

Could argue it would be within the medium - so LOTR films aren't regurgitating the books. I didn't really pick up on the Korean version being exaggerated emotions - some of the stuff the characters come across make it sensible. Mi-do does seem pretty kooky, granted. Coworker suggested I watch I Saw the Devil, next, so I guess that is the target.

Always think about this when doing anything. "Is there a likelihood of me getting shot by doing this?" Followed by: "would it be worth it?" Well, naturally. Can't think of many things that would be worth it. YOLO, man.

Saw Old Boy. Interesting movie, gets a bit odd near the end. Still does a good job of making the villain a bit sympathetic, the protagonist less so - though I was expecting the reason for the incredibly elaborate revenge scheme to be a bit different.

http://www.gog.com/promo/goodbye_deponia_launch_promo_191113 Buy Deponia 3 and get 1 & 2 free. I feel vaguely disappointed in myself for not waiting until now to buy 1 & 2

They need to send some NYPD down to fight the cartels in Mexico, heh.

Banks are some Initech-esque nightmare to work for, when I'm ever on site it's amazing to see the BS they have to deal with and red-tape everywhere. I do like the progression charts though as you level up, can move from Junior Programmer to Junior Programmer Analyst to maybe Technical Programming Analyst someday!

That's going to be at the end of the week, they'll march his naked ass out on to the street to a guard of dishonor.

Sounds like the situation here, though. Seems they value efficiency though.

I didn't say it was fun. And these are our patches, not MS'. They need to test an enhancement and that depends on a certain baseline version which their test environment wasn't at. How that came to be, I don't know.

Sadly, he ran against an actual crackhead/dealer and won - being a good white bread guy and all. Guy said his experience with crack dealing proved he can manage a large business.

Not an attack, crackhead was going to help his brother or something.

Yeah, we had our servers hacked twice last year by friendly hackers (apparently from the country next door). Very fun sitting in an office all morning staring at a PC screen and being neither able to do any work nor at least kill time online while waiting to be able to do work. That would be cool if it happened here. They just forgot to install patches so the tests are invalid. Woo. At least I have my Kindle.
