  1. Sounds like a porno version.
  2. Nice to see Vampyre Story isn't totally dead. And woo Space Hulk. Get out of my way..
  3. Finished AlternativA. Cliffhanger ending, overall the game wasn't too bad all things considered, the voice acting isn't amazing but they are a small developer so I can excuse that. The puzzle design is a bit a simple, almost always the solution is in the immediate area, or you can benefit from friendly NPCs having the solution (although it does make sense that your allies would be able to help you out). Not sure about it being worth the $15. Now, back to Pirates. Failed the first time (retired with 5000 acres, 10k gold and the busty attractive daughter of Curacao's governor. Better idea this time, is to avenge my family, find them instead of dallying about for 20 years trying to be Francis Drake.
  4. Sale's pretty meh so far.
  5. Hm...yup, looks like it's time to upgrade my PC. Handy looking tools they showed too.
  6. Good old Bill Stealey. Used to play nothing but F-19 or GS2K when I was a kid.
  7. I thought we were going down the road of blockbuster movies and pop music.
  8. Rare loot is good when you see 10 people with the same dragon mount, or watch a parade of people all wearing the same gear Mind you, can't avoid that totally.
  9. Well I'm playing it right now They have made the grind a lot less painful, but at the same time a lot more noticeable (still overall a good thing, really). Collecting tokens is a visible progress marker, at least it is for me. But still, is a loot grind. Ah, back in the day when you saw a guy with Rivendare's Charger, that was something to be impressed by. Well as much as being on the right side of two RNGs is impressive, anyway.
  10. Well I have to oblige you, otherwise that comment just sits there all alone and needy.
  11. Ahh ok, an inverse Deus Ex effect.
  12. I'm surprised you even bothered to download it then, usually at that threshold people have left for obvious reasons.
  13. One month does give you a better view on the game. Gives you a chance to get into a cruiser or get a good run of pvp (can start with RvB pretty damn early). Then again 14 days is free, so I guess that wins.
  14. It's really odd, isn't it ? Doubt I ever saw any of this guy's posts, but from those two quotes he had a good attitude.
  15. EVE for $5, worth a try. Although, probably the wrong crowd . This and the trailer in theaters, odd how CCP is pushing this expansion, compared to others
  16. So it's not an endless loot grind now ?
  17. Seems to be, never got the love for either of them as their founding games seemed fun but nothing outstanding. But still lucky, they managed to avoid crappy management or publisher pressure. Different environment, I guess.
  18. Ahh you use a Mac. Well that explains everything.
  19. Lucky they can afford the time to, as well. But I guess even their older work was, uh, 'polished', at least for Blizzard.
  20. Well excellent, I'll note those facts and file it away.
  21. Pirates, fun little game. Dislike the minigames, but simplest way of implementing dancing and fencing, I suppose.
  22. Woke up at 0555 or so (I have nice clock skew on the 4 clocks in my room), couldn't sleep so decided to get a start on laundry. Productive day so far!
  23. Naturally, have you seen them ? Smelly little peasants the lot of them. Game does look pretty, although I'd have preferred something other than the poker dice.
  24. I thought about picking it up bit decided to wait. Likely a mistake given that it's off sale and might not go on again for awhile, but I can always pick up a physical copy Combined Operations at a discount -a quick search shows that it has already been marked down by $20 at some stores- and have an almost DRM free copy that's not tied to Steam (they got rid of the disc-check but FADE is likely still active). Plus I picked up Dragon Rising when it was $3 and so I'll get through co-op mode with that before I move on to a similar, although possibly slightly better -I've seen arguments on both sides-, title. Well DR is a different genre than Arma, so no point comparing (DR does have tremendously sucky bits). I decided to just wait until Arrowhead is on sale and get it then.
  25. Witcher 2, Deus Ex HR (who knows it may be fun or something)
