This is a known issue with the de-sync of the games assets during multi-player. This is currently being investigated and likely fixed in the near future.

Grounded Glitches Ep.4

The reason that is happening is because ants will eat the spoiled meat. Since several ants are trying to eat it the meat never gets consumed. Because if one ant tries to eat it, the other interrupts the animation. If there are many ants then the cycle just keeps resetting and the meat never gets eaten. They stop as soon as you take the meat yourself. They won't be aggressive if you steal their spoiled meat. They just just confused and then go on their way. You can however use this as a reason to start killing them off since there are several in one spot.

Zip lines may be coming in the near future to allow for faster point A to point B. However I like running around getting from one area to the other. It adds to the premise of survival which is what this game is all about. With a few areas I've built myself "safe zones" per say so that I can reach an area and avoid a fight.

Yes this method worked for me and I have maxed it out. Yes it's a bit of a grind but using other methods before finishing them off with a punch works. It counts when you kill them with the fists. I've killed most ants weakening them with spike traps and finishing them up with a Mike Tyson knock out.

This is a known issue as it has been reported many other times. They'll fix this issue soon with a future update. Same was happening with the SCA.Bs as well.

If you'd like some help eliminating these ants let me know. I was able to help a few folks on Xbox and PC.

This error originates from a Direct X issue and it seems to happen more with AMD GPUs. The team is investigating but haven't remedied it as of yet.

Are you on Game Pass (Xbox or PC)? Because if you are try reinstalling the game so that the cloud saves can resync. If you're on steam then I don't know what to tell you.

Have you tried re-installing the game or maybe starting a new game seperate from your original save?

Can't say for sure but I feel that the mods may be what caused the issues. I use Game Pass for Grounded and I stay away from mods for a game still in its infancy. Have you tried un-installing the mods as well? Start off completely fresh with the game? I do one know thing, the Steam version of the game has been plagued with issues not found on Game Pass. Some games can be launched without Steam app running. Maybe give that a try?

You may have an outdated version of the game if you can't see it. Have you seen them prior? Also you need to unlock those options by going to BURG.L

You're likely experiencing this due to an overload of ants. Unfortunately the only work around right now is to kill off as many ants as possible to free up your freezes. If you're on Xbox or game pass I can help you out bt eliminating some of the ants for you and with you.

This is a known issue and is being work in by the dev team. I would advice checking out their Trello board for updates. They will require you send them a save file so they can better determine where the issue is happening so they can fix it.

Just wanted to share random glitches others may or may not be experiencing. It is from PC Game Pass 0.2.1.2323 Rel of Grounded.

If you build too close it will obstruct the spawn of the weeds. Also I would make sure you also chop up the stump of the weed as well just to make sure you completely get rid of it so it has the chance to respawn. It should respawn after about 3 in-game days.

If you're still having issues with this let me know. I can aid you in killing off all the ants and getting you those eggs. Since the latest patch it has been made easier to get the eggs and they do spawn a ton of eggs if you're patient. This time you don't have to kill off the whole colony either.

Yes you can abandon quests by going back to BURG.L highlighting the quest and selecting the option to abandon it.
