Nah. I agree with Obsidian that it should be an all-or-nothing feature. Either it's in or it's not.

1. A fantasy world with magic, two races (humans and beastmen, you can only play a human) and naturally occurring god-tier fighters called Exarchs, who tends to go on to become Archons, who themselves wear titles like "Archon of War" or "Archon of Justice". Those Archons are apparently immortals until the next Archon comes to defeat them. In this world's recent history, a dictator by the name of Kyros has conquered the entire world and the player is one of his top enforcers. 2. Nope, much smaller. 3. There is no siege theme in the game.

He mentioned "Huana" with the "That's a mystery" gif, so I'm thinking that it's something in-universe. Probably a language, I'm thinking the one they use in Rautai.

I'm guessing that GOG wasn't a regular partner for Paradox's new titles? That, plus GOG Galaxy, plus the "Steam integration" a few weeks back... I'm thinking that them polish people are trying to become a real competitor to the Steam behemoth, hey?

You don't need to buy a GOG version or Steam version, you got a key for one of those alongside your physical version.

If the people that Ondra tried to eradicate were the Engwythians, it stands to reason that Woedica was their main ally and that the other gods wanted her to lose as much power as possible. Also, as the God of Rebirth, maybe that Eothas wanted to see the aftermath and how civilization would come back from that cataclysmic event.

The guy in the trailer seemed to join Kyros when he donned the armor with that symbol, so I think it's the sigil of one of the Overlord's armies. My money's on the Scarlet Chorus.

Cail the Silent is insane and paranoid, not to mention obsessed with a fragment of divine power. I can understand why he's not inclined to talk.

You do realize the accuracy bonus on the wizard's spell is only there because the wizard's base accuracy is kind of ****, right?

I believe the size of your character also has an impact. Sending a dwarf or an Orlan to secure the hook might be necessary too.

I'm expecting a flood of info on the 15th. A french paper magazine is making a paper on the game on their April 15th issue and I don't think it's about the GDC presentation. So I'm expecting some sort of NDA to be soon lifted.

I'm also kind of full when it comes to top-down, party-based RPGs now that I think about it. A solo game with a first-person or third-person perspective would be my preference for the next chapter.

I really hope they won't make a Pathfinder rpg, I'm kind of full with Obsidian-made fantasy. I would like some sci-fi or real world in there.

This is a regular publisher/developer deal this time, the publisher has the IP so I don't think that Obsidian would use the Pillars Of Eternity IP. As far as lore goes, this time they don't have the weight of the Kickstarter's promises so they can limit themselves. For example, it seems we will only get two species (humans and beasts, whatever that is) this time rather than the five we has in Pillars.

Most of their employees seem to be working on Armored Warfare, the rest is separated between smaller projects. Of those, we know of three : the Pathfinder Adventures game, Tyranny and Project Louisiana (details unknown, but the main speculation is that this is PoE 2, what with Sawyer and Brandon both working on it).

The surest way is probably to follow RPG news site like RPG Codex or Gamebanshee. That kind of big stuff don't escape their attention for too long. I think I learned of it through the Banshee.

You can't use the same definition for atheist in a world where gods are a matter of faith (ours) and in a world where gods are a matter of facts (Eora). Pallegina's belief that kith can (and should) create their own principles and aspirations is as close as an atheist as one can be in such a setting.
