  1. Hey Donald! Thanks for sharing this additional information with us, and I'm sorry Grounded has been giving you trouble connecting to her through Steam. You are most likely able to see her game with the Microsoft Store version because the Xbox and Microsoft Store versions are essentially the same platform and aren't going through a different platform like Steam. That being said, the team is aware of players dealing with this issue, and they are working on improving and optimizing cross-platform games. Is your daughter the host of the world? If you host, can she see your game on Steam? In the meantime, I recommend checking into the following. Your daughter's Xbox profile is set to available or online and not hidden or private. Check your daughter's Nat Settings on her Xbox. Verify your Steam privacy settings regarding connecting to other players in games. Please let me know if either of these helped resolve this connection issue.

  3. Hey Mike! I'm sorry that you've experienced this bug while playing Grounded, and I understand how frustrating it can be to lose progress in a game. Are you playing the game on Xbox Game Pass Console or PC? Is your gamertag My600IbPINGUINO? I'd like to add this information to this bug report. Due to the nature of Game Preview/Early Access, there will be some unfortunate growing pains and setbacks. If this is something that you're not comfortable with, we recommend coming back to the game when it is more stable. This isn't a comment to dismiss your issues with the game and is more of a friendly suggestion so that when you come back, the game is stable, and you can continue to enjoy it without frustration.

  6. Hello! This appears to be a bug that when the game doesn't recognize your location, it lists your save as unknown. Unless any of you have been having trouble loading said unknown saves, I'll need to add that to our database for investigation if that is the case. Please let me know if those saves aren't loading.   10. These are both good ideas! I wonder if a timer on screen would make too much clutter if you're in close proximity to a few different resources. Transitional phases could be cool, and if the player tries to cut that down, they get fewer resources than normal. I'll be forwarding these suggestions to the team for consideration! ❤🐜

  14. Hey Floyd! I completely understand where you're coming from, and I apologize for the frustration you've been experiencing. The team is working very hard to get these issues resolved so players can continue to enjoy Grounded. Unfortunately, we don't have the extra time to make a dev blog that explains some of these issues in a more detailed manner. I understand that some folks would get a lot out of that, but it would take more time away from the developers working on the game and fixing these bugs.   15. I reached out to the dev team, and they confirmed that buildings are preventing those resources from respawning. It was to prevent them from growing into your structures. That being said, I'll forward your suggestion of a radius around blueprints for consideration.

Are you receiving a specific error code when you try to load the game? If you haven't yet, I recommend making sure your PS4 is fully up to date, along with the game, which should be version 1.04. If those updates don't resolve the issue, you'll need to reach out to https://support.privatedivision.com/hc/en-us Private Division as they are responsible for the console ports and will be better equipped to help you. I see you've already tried to update your drivers so we can skip that step. Some users have reported issues with software running in the background on their laptops, causing an issue with the game. I'll list how to disable background applications based on which version of Windows you're running. Please let me know if you were able to get the game to run properly after disabling the Startup software. Windows® 7 Before trying the steps below, close unnecessary programs and restart your computer. Identify Problematic Startup Items Press Windows Key+R. Type msconfig and press Enter. Check Load startup items. Select the Startup tab. Click Disable all. Restart the computer If this resolves the issue, enable the startup applications one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable. Windows® 8 Before trying the steps below, close unnecessary programs and restart your computer. Identify Problematic Startup Items Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager. Select the Startup tab. Right-click on each item and select Disable. Restart the computer. If this resolves the issue, enable the startup applications one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable.   20. Hey PissedOff. We haven't heard of this issue, and I apologize for the frustration it has caused. I'm not able to provide you a refund as the retailer or publisher handles that. However, I can try to work with you to resolve the issue. Is this issue happening on a PC or Mac? If it's either of those, can you please reply back with your save file attached. If PS4 or Xbox One is giving you trouble, you would need to contact Versus Evil as they are responsible for those ports of the game. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
  21. Hey Notoffred. I just looked at the output_log you submitted, and it still looks like a typical Citrix crash. Would you mind completely uninstalling it to see if that is the issue or not?

  23. Hey Nicolas. Thanks for bringing this issue you have been experiencing to our attention. I took a look at your logs, and they are very similar to users that had an issue with Citrix affecting their game. Citrix is a networking program that, for some reason, has been preventing some players from launching some Unity-based games on Steam. Players have let us know that either updating or uninstalling the software that they've been able to fix this issue. I'll leave a link below to helpful thread that helped all the players who ran into a problem with Citrix. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/108037-crash-directly-when-starting-the-game/?p=2133513 In the meantime, I recommend making sure your video card and O.S. drivers are up to date, even the optional ones. Sometimes a fresh install can help repair damaged or missing files, and so I suggest you try this as well. Please let me know if this resolved the issue.
  24. Hey Erhesar! Thanks for lettings us know about this issue you have been experiencing with Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire on PS4. I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused. After looking over the history of this thread, it seems you have tried everything Sony has recommended with the error. Since our publishing partner, Versus Evil handled the PS4 port; I recommend reaching out to them as they are better equipped to help with this issue.
