First off, are you ok after dealing with the flooding? I'm sorry that you've been experiencing the cloud sync bug while playing Grounded. The team is aware of this issue, and they have developed a solution, and we hope to have it in the upcoming patch. We've created a Grounded Issue Tracker and a Feature Board to keep players informed on bugs and upcoming features. Hey Floyd! I completely understand where you're coming from, and I apologize for the frustration you've been experiencing. The team is working very hard to get these issues resolved so players can continue to enjoy Grounded. Unfortunately, we don't have the extra time to make a dev blog that explains some of these issues in a more detailed manner. I understand that some folks would get a lot out of that, but it would take more time away from the developers working on the game and fixing these bugs. I'm glad that mcsquirlnugget was able to help you with a workaround. Please don't hesitate to report more bugs or issues you have with the game.

Dandelions Not Respawning

I reached out to the dev team, and they confirmed that buildings are preventing those resources from respawning. It was to prevent them from growing into your structures. That being said, I'll forward your suggestion of a radius around blueprints for consideration. -
Insects no longer spawn in Creative Mode

Are you receiving a specific error code when you try to load the game? If you haven't yet, I recommend making sure your PS4 is fully up to date, along with the game, which should be version 1.04. If those updates don't resolve the issue, you'll need to reach out to https://support.privatedivision.com/hc/en-us Private Division as they are responsible for the console ports and will be better equipped to help you. Hey Kaykilt. Thanks for contacting us about this issue you've been experiencing in Deadfire. I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this issue has caused. I see you've already tried to update your drivers so we can skip that step. Some users have reported issues with software running in the background on their laptops, causing an issue with the game. I'll list how to disable background applications based on which version of Windows you're running. Please let me know if you were able to get the game to run properly after disabling the Startup software. Windows® 7 Before trying the steps below, close unnecessary programs and restart your computer. Identify Problematic Startup Items Press Windows Key+R. Type msconfig and press Enter. Check Load startup items. Select the Startup tab. Click Disable all. Restart the computer If this resolves the issue, enable the startup applications one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable. Windows® 8 Before trying the steps below, close unnecessary programs and restart your computer. Identify Problematic Startup Items Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager. Select the Startup tab. Right-click on each item and select Disable. Restart the computer. If this resolves the issue, enable the startup applications one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable. Hey PissedOff. We haven't heard of this issue, and I apologize for the frustration it has caused. I'm not able to provide you a refund as the retailer or publisher handles that. However, I can try to work with you to resolve the issue. Is this issue happening on a PC or Mac? If it's either of those, can you please reply back with your save file attached. If PS4 or Xbox One is giving you trouble, you would need to contact Versus Evil as they are responsible for those ports of the game. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you. -

Hey Notoffred. I just looked at the output_log you submitted, and it still looks like a typical Citrix crash. Would you mind completely uninstalling it to see if that is the issue or not? -

Hey Nicolas. Thanks for bringing this issue you have been experiencing to our attention. I took a look at your logs, and they are very similar to users that had an issue with Citrix affecting their game. Citrix is a networking program that, for some reason, has been preventing some players from launching some Unity-based games on Steam. Players have let us know that either updating or uninstalling the software that they've been able to fix this issue. I'll leave a link below to helpful thread that helped all the players who ran into a problem with Citrix. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/108037-crash-directly-when-starting-the-game/?p=2133513 In the meantime, I recommend making sure your video card and O.S. drivers are up to date, even the optional ones. Sometimes a fresh install can help repair damaged or missing files, and so I suggest you try this as well. Please let me know if this resolved the issue. -

Game randomly exits to desktop

Once the game crashes, open up the Event Viewer and open the drop-down menu for Windows Logs. Next, select Application, and it will generate a list to the right. Sort the list by most recent and see if there is a Warning or Error that matches up with the time you played the game. Highlight that line item, and it will display some info below. Click on the Details tab and post that information. I apologize it took a while to get back to you, but I hope this information will help. -

Hey Trippy86! I'm sorry to hear about this issue you're having with The Outer Worlds on PC. Have you tried looking at the Windows Event Viewer after the game crashes? If you haven't, can you please do so? After you look at that information, I recommend turning down all the visual settings to their lowest and seeing how the game performs then. Hey Milo! Thanks for letting us know about this issue you've been having with Deadfire. It sounds like there is an issue with the games default resolution and your monitor settings. The first thing you can try is after you launch the game, press Alt combined with Enter. This should force the program to full-screen, and then you can adjust the graphical settings from within the game. If that doesn't work, you will need to adjust the settings for the game using Geforce Experience. Open the Geforce Experience, select Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire from the list of games. After that, look for the wrench icon under the image of the game and select it. A dialogue box will open up to adjust the display settings. Make sure full-screen is selected and set your resolution to 128x720 and save your settings. Now try to start the game and see if the problem is resolved. I'll include a link to the Geforce Experience in case you don't have it and also some images to walk you through the steps.https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/download/ If this doesn't resolve your issue or if you have an AMD GPU, please submit a support ticket, and we'll work one on one to help resolve this issue. Greetings xcman04! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing input lag with Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. I see that disabling your Steam overlay didn't seem to help at all. Next, I recommend checking the games language settings in Steam for some reason some players are set to no language, and when they set it to English, it solves the problem. To change this right-click on POE II: Deadfire select properties. After that, click on the language tab, and if your game isn't already set to English, select the drop-down and pick English. Lastly, close out of that menu and start the game to see if the problem is resolved. If it isn't fixed, some users mentioned that lowering the polling rate on their mouse has helped with this issue as well. If either of the solutions don't work, please create a support ticket by contacting us at support@obsidian.net as this forum is not an official support channel. I'm sorry for assuming you were on a PC. Yeah, you're on the correct forums, but the technical support offered here is from players. We didn't handle the console ports of The Outer Worlds that was handled by our friends at Private Division, and they will be better equipped to assist you with this issue. Unfortunately, reinstallation is the first step with console related issues. You can contact them at support@privatedivision.com. -
