Include a breakdown of the items from them specifically to the bug I question Example Ant soldier:text description of ant soldier Ant mandible: large mandibles for cleaving prey are latching on to larger threats so they can administer their sting Acid Gland: The ant version of this gland is filled with formic acid. Being related to wasp and bees this is injected to deter larger threats are dispatch smaller ones

Colours/Dyes/Customisation
ScritchOwl replied to Shinthaw's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
Hmm another uses for chalk....... Trail markers. Not like the post but like football field (hand egg for non Americans) that you could leave colored paths to and from locations to easier path making as some people are not as spatially aware as others and run just as much risk going to the hedge as they do the big ant hill -
A document of creature ideas
ScritchOwl replied to snazzybanana899's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
It's good but honestly frog needs to be hostile and dragonfly peaceful. Your just to small and dragonflies stay away from the ground. Maybe have one snag you off a Zipline but otherwise your just not a target their babies with the xenomorph like mask/mandibles would definitely put you on the radar. Frogs just eat what ever fits in their mouth. Weevil eat it. Ant eat it. Wolf spider if it's small enough eat it. A bombburst eat it (possibly stun method). Also the pond is a little small for bull frogs. Might I recommend leopard frogs they are smaller and 100% less likely to eat baby ducks -
Relocating All Items and Saving Resources
ScritchOwl replied to z_pro94's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
I don't think you should get 100 resources back from dismantling, real life recycling doesn't work like that either. However I do think that you should have a build window in which you can deconstruct and reconstruct without loosing the resources just to help facilitate with error in construction that would be super apparent in real life but not so much with ghost of tile placements- 1 reply

Accurate Spider Venom or Poison
ScritchOwl replied to LordxHerobrine's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
Remember you would need to find a comparable dose to a human/mammal. Differing animals metabolize different things. Example warfarin was used as a pesticide for rats. It was assumed that it would be lethal to humans til a guy survived the upscaled dose and discovered that because of differences in metabolization that it's was safe for humans as heart medication at the assumed lethal level. The current spiders seem fine to me but if you want those effects maybe add new critters like wasp, velvet worms, maybe even some puffball or other fungus to create facemask zone or else you risk the boat ride from Charlie and the chocolate factory -
Is the rest of the story ever getting released?
ScritchOwl replied to Val3ntino's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
To be fair this is an inprogress game title and not a final release. Look at the release roadmap before being to critical or harsh- 1 reply

They do but only if a soldier sees you workers are passive and if you one shot them they don't even turn hostile. Soldiers if the see you it turns the surrounding ants hostile

But why would bugs attack in mass? There is nothing worth it for them. The only thing you could get is all those omnitech robots charging you because the watchers decided to eliminate all witnesses. Which could explain why the first group is gone???

Dual wielding axes and daggers makes me want climbing gear. Think taking some ice axes to the wolf spiders and mosquitos

Insects bug and interface bug.
ScritchOwl replied to Idefix's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
I have had the bugs act like the have the aphid ai loaded. Annoying but comical chasing a Wolfie across the map who can't take arrow dam and runs from your club. Bombardier beetles and stinkbugs do this as well. Personally never seen a bee do it as I actively avoid harming them (too cute makes my kids cry if they see it) -
Some Base Building and Material Ideas
ScritchOwl replied to Ted4nts's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
You wouldn't want weather in game if they implement this. A flooding mechanic s bas structure stability would be ick. I dunno I played 7days die which had the tunneling ability and it bogged the game down caused issues with floating terrain and base collapses from a mob eating the foundation for no reason -
Dragonflies eat flying bugs though. There nymphs that live in water would be the murder beast you crave. The adults while dangerous would probably help you by scarfing those dang mosquitos that chase you from stepping stone summit to the dang oak tree

Some Base Building and Material Ideas

I think they would mean concealed ladders or similar to the Çatalhöyük door structures -
Suggestion: Snails or Cracking snail shell
ScritchOwl replied to Ladiedebbie's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
At that point use the snail shell to make snips. That way you can cut part of a can for weapons. Also I would recommend a war horn for the shells. You blow it to scare smaller enemies, stun comparables and maybe attract apex (wolf spiders until wasp centepedes or frogs are added) enemies as they take it as a challenge to their territory -

QoL suggestions for building
ScritchOwl replied to PliantWalkJojo's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
I am correctly converting the pagoda into an 4 tiered base. I am encountering weird issues that your suggestions would be helpful with. As the pagoda itself is a octagonal structure this cause a mismatch between the walls and floors even if you look at parallel sides it causes issues with wall mapping. It's odd that you cannot place within the connection range of the buildings but other times you can build over the same section. Such as your triangle floor will not complete a square but I can connect to catheti of the shape and it allows construction even thou to places are occupied at the same time -
What about snow. Think if you had to pick resources to survive a winter. Yeah no bugs but that also means no meat for dinner. Though I don't think you would want a 90 day winter. Maybe have a omnitech weather manipulation device?

I think we are to small for termites to be any more of a nuisance than an ant. However they do have a hive protection mode so maybe become hostile during rain if your around the house or shed

Ugggh carnivore snails probably the worst possible death. Being pinned underneath taking suffocating damage why they penetrate you with the radula. Hammerhead worms predatory flatworms will grow new head if removed. Can reproduce by fission. Normally eats earthworms Rain beetles come above ground in rain and fly. Red velvet mites are in game........maybe have them be more aggressive or spawn in greater numbers. Saw tooth beetles are another. Npt a bug but could be fun toads. They poke up from lairs in the rain looking for bugs knocked to the ground

bug part structures.
ScritchOwl replied to Boneless pizza's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
Definitely you should be able to claim legs of killed spiders and use them as a item similar in use as stems. As someone said the thin wings of the beetles and stinkbugs should be a window/paper like material. I personally would have liked iridescent scales to be roofing material, see silk be woven for carpet and flower petals as curtains
