What do you want in the DLC?
ComradeYellow replied to Ommamar's topic in The Outer Worlds: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I am confident that whatever they add will be great, but am not asking for much other than more outdoor areas on different planets with different corporations controlling them, perhaps a new companion, and new weapons/armor. The usual. -
steam ?

One year exclusivity on Epic Games Store. So, since the game was released on October 25 2019, we can safely assume that the game will be released on on Steam and perhaps GOG October 25 2020. -
Jokes on them for getting in bed with Bethesda! A company known for horrendous malpractice. Besides, every single one of their games is 50% garbage and 50% great (I do like their plots and atmosphere but their game mechanics tend to be absolute tripe).

As long as Covid-19 keeps killing people, it's still here. Not to mention all this rioting greatly increases the chances of a second wave.

They're fed up. I got "lucky" because I was born white but being poor and black or a dark skinned minority in the U.S. has been extremely stressful for a long time, whitey American has a habit of trying to contain, control, and oppress people who look or act different than them, it's in their blood to be control freaks. Blacks survived slavery, I'm confident they'll survive slavery 2.0. As for these protests, I perfectly understand their pain but I can't bring myself to actually join because they have no agenda or political goals behind them, it's just comes off as little better than venting frustration. Perhaps if they made some coherent demands like demanding Trump resign and then they'll stop I would take them more seriously. -

This is sexy as Hell to me. When I was a late teen I dated a woman who was prime pop age during the 80's and she looked nearly identical to the woman displayed in the picture so it shows that I'm kind of a sucker historical romance.

Liberals are also stupid and guilty for blaming all of their problems, even Trump, on Eastern countries. -

He's the one hiding in the White House basement like a coward... But what do I care? Whatever takes his mind off of waging intense economic and ideological warfare against China (he's really planning to up the anti in his second term, should he be elected) and brainwashing American citizens into fascism is fine by me. Racist cops AND WW3 need to dissipate so that's 2 birds with one stone. -

Don't think I've ever seen such a great prophet of the age. -
You know, when I was little kid I thought this movie was silly and ridiculous but moderately entertaining but as someone approaching middle aged I'm starting to see the certain historic beauty in this one scene.

The United States is the biggest offender of the list, and it appears the majority of Westerners still bite it hook line and sinker. Fact: The United States is still a massive imperialistic, economic exploitative juggernaut who needs to frame countries that don't play ball in the worst light possible in order to invade them and submit them under the boot of $Uncle Sam$. Covid-19 and now these riots are demonstrating who weak our institutions really are. The cracks are showing, but there's still a long way to go for global healing. As an aside, I really feel bad for the poor suckers killing their bodies working because they are ashamed of collecting unemployment because we've been conditioned in Nazi-like fashion that you have to slave away to keep us going. The reality of the American economy is that collecting money from the state and buying stuff greatly helps keep our economy afloat, as 70% of our entire economy is based off of consumerism, not working class people killing their bodies producing goods and services. One of the biggest reasons why I'm not anti-China is that they are wonderful at producing goods for us Westerners to consume at our leisure, and I'd like for it to stay that way. The biggest heroes of this current crisis are the cashiers and the delivery services for risking their lives keeping supplies stocked and making sure we have food and items available to buy at all times. -

Borderland The Pre-Sequel! I've never got into Borderlands until Epic Games Store showed up and Exclusived it so I started with 3 and am working my way backwards. I have to say, I like the interface much better on this one, though gameplay and style is nearly identical. -

https://consortiumnews.com/2020/05/30/25-years-of-cn-why-us-police-are-out-of-control-aug-20-2015/ The real source of American police brutality: fragemtation. Whilst it's true that U.S. has been a racist-as-Hell country since its inception, the United States has 18,000 police agencies scattered across the country, which makes them little than local street gangs. I'd say streamlining the police force maybe not on a national level but at least on the state level and curbing the number down to double digits could go a long way to really reigning in police murders. -
EDIT: Nevermind!

Replaying TOW. Good ****, doesn't get old. Recommend replaying every 6 months or so until a sequel or spiritual successor comes out. Playing as a solo character who focuses on Long Guns, Science, Engineering, and Medical and wearing armor with gadgets that beefs up my Dialogue skills. Character is near unstoppable, even on Supernova, the only potential hazard is kinda slowish reloading speed so I gotta add Mods that increase magazine capacity in to finish most encounters w/o reloading. -

GOP loves him now, he has near complete party unanimity, D.C. and minimalist white boy living in backwoods U.S.A alike. Also, just like the LP, real leftists may have to accept another defeat and focus on getting that 5% vote in the Green Party, I will vote Green up and down the ticket. -

You have some good points, and yes, it would take a theoretical "sleeping mass" help transform the legislative and executive branch by getting a 3rd Party in there. Also, this 3rd Party would have to team up with one of the major parties to produce anything. Libertarians would have to team up with Republicans and Greens would have to team up with Democrats, etc. etc. It's not impossible, but like I said the rhetoric is so toxic right now that if a Greens were to be elected in any branch the American right would probably revolt 1860 style which would give us the moral high ground to enact transformational policies. -
DLSS is garbage, I never use it or Ray Tracing, though the memory bandwidth that uses RTX is supposed to be enhanced significantly for 3*** thereby improving FPS significantly so perhaps 144hz+ gamers can start to dabble in it then, w/o DLSS. Any feature that forces you to lower a render resolution means you're doing it wrong.

But nothing will ever change if we don't elect a 3rd Party candidate. Obama's failure of a presidency should be clear proof of this. The only thing that's changing is the rhetoric, which is becoming more toxic and dangerous. Policy remains the same, which is becoming more and more unsustainable by the year. -
I don't know but this strange generational antagonism in the gaming community has been going on for a long time. It's like games targeting millennials are, by law, diametrically opposed to games targeting Gen-Xers and Boomers. I'll be sure to throw in the towel and stop gaming once Gen-Z comes of age because I am not getting caught up in this crap. This is a good education. Anyway, sorry OP doesn't like TOW. I love it, and hope we get more like it. To me, it's a good synthesis between atmosphere, plot, and solid RPG mechanics.
