    LOST

    SOON!
  2. Just finished MotB for the first time. The last few areas on the Fugue Plane were kind of a letdown. Just a bunch of tiny battles that were won in a matter of seconds. Could've used some more content there. Also, having picked None as my deity, I really wanted to bring down that stupid wall! Why didn't I get to bring down that wall?! Anyway, great game.
  3. I'm planning to replay Torment after finishing MotB. I read somewhere a while ago about a higher resolution mod; anyone know where to find it? edit: Google gave me this and this. Which is preferable?
  4. Yea I was forced into using Satiate when I was still neutral. But I didn't really mind, there seems to be xp in abundance.
  5. I'm currently going through MotB with my chaotic neutral swashy/fighter/duelist from the OC, and I've concluded that the spirit meter is probably most cumbersome for neutral characters. The only really viable options seem to be lawful good and chaotic evil. It's quite difficult managing the spirit meter with a craving of 3 or 4 whilst only devouring 2/3 spirits per day, since the meter is always filled up to somewhere in the middle, so you always have to keep an eye out for it, especially when traveling. It actually made me give up trying to remain neutral, so I just started devouring everything in my path. Now it isn't cumbersome at all. It's even quite cool from a roleplaying perspective to succumb to the selfish evil path as a result of being cursed. Also, One Of Many makes it all worth it; he's so kickass as a warlock. I must say that I'm truly enjoying MotB. I had a hard time early on because I tried to tackle Myrkul's Vault too soon, but once I did the other quests it got a lot better. 7 levels of weapon master really helped too. I thought the OC was okay, but too linear and too Disney. Somehow having to save the world always makes me feel guilty for choosing the evil options, but in MotB I have no such remorse at all. That must be because of the more personal storyline, and the fact that there's no overdose of whiney good companions.

  12. you can have more than 1 prc (my character is a duelist and weapon master, although in retrospect the duelist levels don't add much), and you can have up to 4 total

  14. there's an earth genasai f/wm/dd build that i followed a while ago that i really liked. it's listed somewhere in one of the guilds or maybe the nwn2 wiki. after act 1 in motb, he was untouchable for all practical purposes. i tinkered with the build since i had no use for improved unarmed strike and i don't play the disarm route. instead i took on cleave and great cleave and one other thing that i can't recall. i also made him with more CON than the build lists purely so that i could beat the berserker cold tests. taks what's dd? can't be dwarven defender if you're an earth genasi

  17. Some classes and builds are way easier than others - If you're not a cleric/favoured sould/druid Gann is essentially your only healer and he burns spells likes he's addicted to them.. That makes things a little tougher.. and if you're a class that doesn't deal much damage, well then it's alot tougher. I have both Gann and Kaelyn, so healing shouldn't be the problem. But even then I find it near impossible to effectively cast healing spells during combat. Even though my party is fully buffed, including Death Ward, somehow one of my characters always dies almost instantly. My character is a fighter/swashbuckler/duelist/weapon master, and normally excels at parrying, but atm I'm getting slaughtered by those vampire lords and whatnot in the Death God's Vault. I've tried bottlenecking them in a doorway, to no avail. Perhaps I should do another part first. Does One Of Many, cool as he is, get any better? His rogue skills aren't particularly useful during those tough fights. It probably would've been easier with Okku.
  18. I'm playing MotB Is it supposed to be so difficult? I'm getting my ass handed to me by, well mostly anything.
