  1. Cool, I knew it! And I'm sure they'll eventually make Mass Effect for the PC available too! Btw did actually someone notice there's no Microsoft logo onto the PC homepage? Does Bioware now publish the PC version themself?
  2. It's just a matter of time until one of the big GPU giants buys out AGEIA.
  3. SS2 was a baby walk. Even little babys and first-person-phobia endangered jerks like Volourn would have cried about it's easieness. Bioshock is gonna rock! New video card, mobo and power supply just for you baby, just for you!!!!
  4. http://pc.ign.com/articles/705/705454p1.html
  5. No, they're making Morrowind with guns. R00fles!
  6. So what? I've played this POS (with the latest Patch), and even my garbage can would vomit. This game is not done by a BIS or *ahem* Troika, but a bunch of N00bs with zero creativity. Just look at Silver Style's back catalog. Do you get the feeling they're a AAA developer? No? Me neither. Stay awway from TF, that's the only advice I can give you.
  7. The Theme song is nice I guess. But the rest (i.e. the whole game) is total garbage.
  8. Oh well...my bad. I just looked at the Team names and automatically associated it with Russians. There're alot of Fallout clones in development and already released from Russian developers, though none of those show real promise, so I was a little too hasty. But Tetris was developed by a Russian, so maybe there's still a chance we'll see other genres/settings too! Oh and about The Fall: If you know what's good for you --> DON'T TOUCH IT!!!
  9. Do those Russians actually have anything else in their portfolio other than some wannabe Fallout clones?
  10. Kirottu FTW!!!!
  11. TORN. Yeah, I remember that. From what I gather, the reason why Torn was canned was because they had such difficulties with that Lithtech engine. The screenshots weren't that gorgeous indeed (blocky ugly maps, low poly chars etc.). I'm just wondering why they didn't licensed Bio's Aurora and build the game with that engine? The game wouldn't have looked better from an artistic standpoint, but at least they would have been able to release it.
  12. Wii, Why, Whatever.... THAT'S MARKETING GENIUS!!! Don't forget those people get paid to come up with such genius ideas, so have some respect, will ya? They're the professions, after all.
  13. Integrated Graphic Chips are always bad. And a GF 6100 is a joke anyways, so stick with your X700.
  14. Either that, or Bioware just realised that they couldn't get the combat done right for the PC. Combat games developed for Consoles usually suck on the PC.
  15. This, my friend, is mystary!!!
  16. No PC version. The Biowarians still say "JE is a Xbox exclusive. There're no plans to bring JE to the PC at this time." Oh whatever. If it comes out one day, then good. If not, not bad too.
  17. Well, there're better games out there. I don't feel the desire to moan around about the lack of quality games. Just playing Psychonauts right now and I'm loving it. Then I'll indulge Grim Fandango, Dreamfall, can look forward to DA, Bioshock, Gothic3, NWN2, that JunctionPoint thingy, and lots more.... What the heck? Lack of quality games? No. No more and no less than back to the "good ol' times" I guess. Oh and you can always avoid the ****ty ones. It's just a win-win situation, at least to me.
  18. ...are over. And that's good so.
  19. Nice read. But I can only imagine that good old fashioned CRPG fanboys with PnP roots may disagree with that article (you know, more lines = more depth).
  20. Here's an interview with Bioware's Concept Artist Matt Rhodes, but more interestingly, Concept Arts! The sortiment goes from ridiculously silly ones (Star (Wars) Trek anyone?) to absolutely marvelous looking masterpieces. Let's hope the marvelous ones make it into the game. Like the "You callin' me chicken?" Alien. Now they only need to make that goddamit game available for the PC too!
  21. Dragon Age? What's Dragon Age? I think I heard that name once....hmmm. " Doesn't matter. Bioshock and the E3 babes will pwn them all!
  22. Today I got Psychonauts! I'll start it when I get home tonight. Psychonauts!
  23. Not sure about that, maybe Troika didn't have time to implement those new builds. Besides, Source wasn't officially completed or offered for licensee yet, since even HL2 wasn't released there. I guess they must have had an exclusive deal with Troika or something.
  24. I read those inteviews when BL was released (or before). No chance I could find those. Maybe you get lucky at planetvampire.com or some Troika fanboys sites, like Duck-n-Cover. But I'm pretty sure Tim and Leon spoke about that.
  25. From what I gather, Troika had early contact and a HL2 presentation with Valve back to the days when Arcanum was just released. I think most of the core features of Source were just completed in Summer 2002, and Troika received that version. From there, I didn't get the impression Valve offered updates or support of any kind....(as opposed to now, which is great). Anyways, from interviews it was suddenly told that it is actually Activisions job to maintain contact and engine updates with Valve, not Troika. Whatever. It's like a circus merry-go-around, and nobody knows who actually is responsible to release the game with a 2002 tech.
