Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Because Bethesda have done a piss poor job in marketing it.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
It's a horror game, not that much survival though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, just wait for the hotel chase, there you'll recognize that it is certainly a survival horror game.... or the Soggoth chase. Cthulhu is an interesting mix of action, investigation and survival horror, but gets almost destroyed by annoying and illogical puzzles and very unbalanced difficulty. The gameplay is generally slower, a'la Deus Ex, but certainly not comparable with Oblivion. I also like the fact that you have to beware of Jack's mental state, because if you're careless, he may kill himself. If you're seeking for a mature, very depressing (non happy-end for sure!) action adventure and can endure the annoying puzzles, you certainly will find your joy in this gem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you play it on the pc or the Xbox? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PC. I already played through it last week. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How's the replayability? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm currently playing it a second time, but only because there's nothing else to play right now. From a story perspective, there's no replayability.... but a few unforgettable moments plus the fact that I don't need to jump every 5 min to a walkthrough when I'm stuck now just lured me back. Enjoy it while it lasts! The game gets better, but also more stressful.

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
If it plays like the Thief games, I'll be happy. If it's just a mere melee action game, I'll say "No thanks!". God thanks it isn't that Stats/character-driven FP crap kind of game, that's way too old school for these days.

Winter Olympics
I just log in, take a look at the results, and what do I see? Our athletes just sacked in another 3 Gold- and 2 Bronze medals today. This is actually scary, because so much success for my country is usually tied with the inevitably followed "kick-in-the-balls" moment. I'd also like to see if the Razzia could shed more light onto the alleged doping incidents. Seems like the Trainer was arrested too...

Winter Olympics
Well, he was just 13/100 secs behind the Norwegian Kjetil Andre Aamodt... 13/100 wtf screw that. It's still a great performance!

Winter Olympics
Just sacked in another Gold and 3 Silver today. Which makes a 4-5-1 as a total now!

New NWN 2 Info
Alanschu wins! Gabrielle loses (again). <_<

New NWN 2 Info
Yeah, and I thought people here are hardcore enough to be able to bear the lack of action elements. :D

New NWN 2 Info
It could add realism to a game such huge as Gothic3 probably, but not something that is divided into smaller modules. Besides, why hopping around with a horse like this is a racing game? And how would you precisely control it? Why not just using portals or runes or something like that instead? That's quite more logical to me than using a hores and probably get stuck each two seconds by a bough or elevation. LOL. The designers had a good reason to exclude horses from a DnD based game, after all. Edit: Riding belongs to the same category as swimming, jumping, climbing etc. Things that would add nothing to a pure character-driven RPG like NWN2.

New NWN 2 Info
Never played Mount&Blade, but how would riding through enemies work in a DnD based game? Wouldn't really make sense to implement a complex rule-system to incite tactical fights, and then just rush with your horse through enemies like a tank. That could probably work in some kind of an action game, though.

New NWN 2 Info
Horses do not add to a better role-playing experience, hence they're useless.

Commandos Strike Force Demo
So, anyone played it already? Does the demo have a tactical touch, or is it just another FPS? How's the mission design, AI, overall feel? I'm not willing to download this monster before I hear some positive feedback about it.

Winter Olympics
Today it's a 3-2-1 for Austria. Yay!

Swiss is the ugliest my ears had ever to endure. Japanese and Hungarian on the other side are funny.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey trailer
Good to hear. And don't forget to drop in here and provide us with some infos... I'm personally curious about how large the areas will be, and how interactive? The 2D backgrounds from TLJ looked nice, but were non-passable. I hope the Dreamfall levels aren't so tiny due to the lack of Xbox' RAM or something....

2 x Gold, 2 x Silver, 1 x Bronze for Austria. I deserve a cookie! Yay!

I just happened to get lucky enough to find some links to the mag scans.... But I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to post them here...no. I think I just keep them, to not violate the almighty FAQ, of course. "
