  1. You're very informed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You just have to take a look at Ragnar's Blog, he always reveals some tidbits there... Oh and yes, the game starts in Casablanca.... and Africa is supposed to be a superpower. And Z
  2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is awesomeness pure! I mean...hell, this sounds too good to be true. Is there actually really an ambitious game in the works that may not disappoint? There must be somewhere a hook.... This is just the way of this whole industry... where there's excitement, there must be also something that punches you into the face.
  3. I'm back, have you brought back some valuable infos, my seeking children? What do I see? They spamming my thread instead! I'm....I'm Shh..Sh SHOCKED!!! Why the f*ck does nobody has the magazine yet and posts some scans? Why just why??? <_<
  4. Did you make the things 'needed to do' with the guy there? ...if you're stuck don't forget to use a walktrough, lot of them on net ...Good you enjoy it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, I'm already past through it.... (now in Chapter 4). It's just that I had to mention it.... I mean, this game is so hilarous at times! You have to love it.... So many memorable characters... Same goes for that silly "Maps!" guy. Maps! Maps! Maps!
  5. That Win98 compatibility trick did the job! Never thought of it to try it out, because it never, really never worked in other games.... but this one. Typical. I just played now 3 hours in on piece without a crash.... awesome! And what was that gruesome scene in the toilet??? I really felt pity for that guy...."I'm sitting on the can! Leave me!!!" :D Hehe, but it was a hell of fun. Humor of that kind is just too rare in most video games.
  6. As long as they don't have a publisher signed yet (which they still haven't), we won't see the "real" homepage going online. But DGaider said that's at least an updated FAQ is in the works, and that "stuff" is happening... "Stuff" could mean anything, like another DA logo-wallpaper, just in green.
  7. Which fantasy game doesn't have to some degree Tolkien in mind anyway? Doesn't matter, because a Bio approach of adventures, coin, grumpy dwarfes and ph4t l00t is still 1000 times better packaged than your obvious LotR - Oblivion!
  8. What's this moaning about Tolkienesque or not? Oblivion and NWN2 (FR) seem to look more Tolkien-loaded than it ever can get.... Yet you seem to accuse DA as "Tolienesque" because the logo doesn't look like a cyberpunk-medieval-japanese crap flick... That doesn't mean the setting/story will be like LotR. Give those Biowarians a chance!
  9. http://dragonage.bioware.com/ Looks pretty neat, and I hope that's just the beginning. But there aren't that much infos yet, just this snippet:
  10. Now I just arrived in Marcuria. It definitely starts growing on me now.... Man, I hope I get back to Stark, this Metro Circle and Cyberpunk look was awesome! And this Monkey-toy-Freddie puzzle was the most hilarious thing ever seen in a video game! I guess Dreamfall is now on my shopping list too... There just ain't so much games around these days that offer so fantastically crafted worlds and characters! Edit: But those crashes keep coming and coming. I've the 2 CD Version with the latest Patch, is there no way to get rid of these crashes?
  11. Alright... if my Hungarian friend insists so much, I gotta give it a chance again! Tomorrow.
  12. No, I don't play games to the end that annoy me... besides it crashes each few minutes, and that makes me grumpy. But maybe I'll give Dreamfall a chance.
  13. Loss? No. The best character is still the character I'm creating and playing. And the best NPC is Shodan. April is just an annoying cun*.
  14. wait what <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, things like crate-smashing and obtaining ph4t l00t from monsters....
  15. The Dreamfall trailer was pretty, but I'm still unsure whether this may be my thing. About Longest Journey... well, I just installed it a few days ago, but couldn't stand it any longer than 15 min. I just don't like the idea of running around the whole time with this annyoing b*tch and talking to people that alway tell you this "Hi April? How's the day going? Relax a little bit April!" shyt. I liked the art direction and sound though.
  16. Tiresome? No. I've seen hawter teasers these days... Remember when the first HL2 presentation was released (E3 04?). Man, that was hawt!
  17. No, you silly fanboy. It was tiresome. This game is supposed to be released in a few months, I expect some actual gameplay footage now, not some silly lines and flickering screenshots.
  18. I was quite unimpressed with the teaser.... Thought they show some role-playing and combat, instead I get some lame supposed-to-be-creepy snippets. Meh.
  19. 60s? WTF? I thought it's gonna take place in the 21th century, where you explore an abandoned Nazi lab..... 60s... That's so old school. Probably Minute Man and Kate Archer will assist you in creating a bubble gum-thrower that let the enemies explode their heads a'la Mars Attacks. (w00t) Hey, doesn't sound so bad, after all...
  20. Can't blame you. "Bio" became a classic eye-snap-thingy to me as well and usually evokes pleasent thoughts like "Baldur's Gate", and "NWN". And although "Bio" is good, "BioShock" is better! I heard that the March issue ships today to subscribers, is that right? I need infos! Go forth my seeking children, and bring back hints for Mighty Morgoth!
  21. Look at this great artwork! I'm anticipating no other game so anxiously than this one.... It's from the System Shock2 creators, after all! Anyone here having an abo or planning to get this magazine? When does this issue come out btw? Anyone who PMs me a scanned preview gets a delicious Mozart-Pie delivered per air express! :D
  22. Acknowledged. Acknowledged. Acknowledged, but it's not widely accepted yet. Acknowledged. As Herr Bulock or Fr
  23. Yes, I think so that Shock2, Thief and a few other games are irreproducible. Torment's immersiveness (if I'd had to pronounce that, my tongue would get a cramp! ) isn't better or worse, just different. Like a good novel. I enjoy it for once, but then never touch it again.... with Shock2 etc. on the other hand, I never get bored.
