That's not Sengoku Rance, is it?

Plus a refusal.

I was thinking the same thing. I doubt your wife brings it up all that often, to me just from that letter, it sounds like they don't like/approve your wife's previous occupation. If so, that is their problem and not your wife's. Sometimes pre-judgements like this can build up over time and lead to blowing other things out of proportion. Other comments like 'get back in the family' and 'just to win' would really rub me the wrong way. He seems to think that it's down to him or you winning or losing, not understanding that he has already lost. Eventually he will see that and come back. It's just generally disappointing to see trouble/angst from such a non-issue. An all too often occurrence in families. But like others have said, don't punish your children for you families mistake. Let them receive their grandparents presents, they aren't old enough to understand yet. They'll just think their grandparents don't care.

Jade Empire was released on the PC in 2007. ME 2008. I've always liked JE, it's combat was better than Kotor's, had great art and music and the characters would actually react to the PC. It's main flaw was length, it's short and has limited side quests.

Dragon's Dogma. Was skeptical about this game, but have found it to be really good.

http://www.lofigames.com/ Kenshi is starting to come together, and after the 0.40 update, the price will increase. Still very rough, but you can see a interesting game in there.

Nothing. Going through a period were I can't sit down long enough to play anything. Or I don't have anything that can sustain my interest at the moment. Picked up Killzone 2 for $6 can't play it for 10 minutes, tried Armored Core V, didn't like it(despite enjoying the series till this point), Resident Evil 6 demo same thing. Very annoying.

I wouldn't of minded the dream sequences if they were a choice (paragon/renegade). It just didn't make sense for the renegade Shep I had to get all emotional over the kid.

I don't have trouble understanding why TOR failed, I have trouble understanding how any MMO becomes successful. I know a lot of people like them, I just can't understand why. TOR was the first MMO I actually paid a subscription for, but after grinding a SW and BH to 50, I couldn't do it anymore. Without the grind I would of enjoyed TOR a lot more.

That's a no to dogs, cats, reptiles, dolphins and whales. I've tried Kangaroo but not a fan. Frogs I would be willing, but not snails given they can carry a parasite that can cause meningitis. Sure low probability, but there is plenty of other food out there to satisfy me.

I didn't mind Vega, my biggest problem with him? He also has issues. Another patient for Counselor Troi/y Shepard.

I just had a gander of the ME 3 forums and found something quite amusing. People are still talking about the IT theory and how it's still going to be revealed by Bio........... It takes a special type of person to still actually believe that it's real.

And so it continues.

I would really love to see an horror RPG. However I don't feel PE is that game, nor should it be. Horror is at it's best when it's the focus, and more towards psychological than jump scares. Still if Obs wants to make The Thing RPG, they can count on my money.

In theory a lack of visual keys in speech checks sounds fine, however it will lead to annoying players, and will cause similar problems to paraphrasing. Without the visual tip, people will select option and get a different result to what they are expecting. A prime example of this is Mass Effect, were selecting an simple innocuous line, will result in something quite unexpected. Of course a way for the writers to compensate for this, is to make it really obvious what's what, but that can in turn can lower the quality of the PC dialogue by making it basic. Having to think about dialogue is good, having to guess about it is not.

No. Dawn of War is one of the best RTS's ever made. DoW 2 is a hybrid title no one really liked. Stop talking crap Boo, both were good games. For a minute I thought it meant 40k, and was disappointed that meant no more THQ 40k games. Then realized that it's just the fantasy Warhammer and didn't care.

Never did really like Spider-man. Although I wouldn't mind playing a game as Carnage.

I approve of this. Bioware get on it. When it comes down to my dislike of of ME3's endings, it's more how the choices were put and how the end mission played out. (wasn't to fond of the synthesis ending mind you) Had Shepard's choices from the previous games and ME3 had been a major factor in the endings, I would of been a lot more forgiving. ex: Control: Only available if Cerberus was given the collectors base. I also don't see a need as to why the star child was created, there was no need to explain the reapers purpose or origins in ME3. The only thing that mattered was stopping them, in a convincing and well written manner. IMO the star child and colour coded choice does not do this. All it did was leave with a bad taste and a wtf expression on my face. The other (and IMO big one)problem was the ending felt rushed from a design point of view. Remember in ME2 where how you used your squad would decide who lived or died, or whether the mission was successful or not? Where did that idea go? How about making a ground invasion plan, deciding where Wrex, Grunt and the Krogan were positioned? Where Jack's biotic squad were sent? Where the Geth dropped in on reaper forces? Using choices like this to determine the amount of enemies faced, how successful the approach to the conduit was, allied casualties etc. Instead all we got was one long ass tedious dungeon run, with a few lines of dialogue with NPCs. Shepard dying was never a problem for me and neither was not having an happily ever after ending.

So another SP DLC incoming... http://www.computerandvideogames.com/382096/mass-effect-3-dlc-bioware-all-hands-on-deck-for-next-add-on/ Wonder if this one will finally get me to bite. The others just haven't grabbed me enough to want to boot up ME3 again.

Choice between The Walking Dead and X-Com. I haven't finished Dishonored, but so far it's not that compelling to me. Hitman IMO is just an average game, can't really think of much else. Of course I haven't played AC3 or Far Cry 3, and I probably won't until they come on a good sale.
