I take it Bohemia Interactive is too small? Meridian4 has 89 titles in their catalogue on PC and 5 on mobile. Focus Home Interactive has mostly PC games with only a few that allow for console also getting a consol version. 1C Company has eight upcomming PC titles and one of them will also be released to XBOX360. Does PopCap release on console? But you are basically only interested in AAA titles, so many PC exclusives don't count. Does the Total War series count as AAA even though its not MMOs? Yes, actually, Total War counts as an AAA title...thanks I had actually forgotten about that one. The publisher you are looking at do a LOT of PC games that are more kid based and such. Another does educational games and software and due to probably libraries and schools buying their games make a tidy sum, but then again...triple A as far as what we would consider Triple A, probably not. Gamer's Games like what I'm also looking at...probably not, so games we probably wouldn't want to play or even try to play. Wait, Paradox, Kalypso, NCSoft and Perfect World make kids games? RPG's that don't make it out of Japan are not AAA games. Most are low-mid budget. Ok neither Nier or Resonance of Fate were AAA. AAA is Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, CoD, Battlefield, GTA, Halo. Not middling JRPG's.

Can you make a Ferengi character? Yes. That part is still pretty poor. The space part does make up for it though. It just Starfleet Command games in MMO form. If your a Star Trek fan, probably. If your not, no.

Has anyone heard of Kinect: Star Wars, you can't get any lower than that. Also why are people still considering Obsidian and a SW RPG now? Surely people can see that if a SW RPG appears it's only coming from one studio. Obs should focus on a popular franchise that hasn't been given the RPG treatment, Star Trek.

So I'm playing Game Dev tycoon, when I happen to hire a designer named Avelone that has high design stats. Now it has mock publishers so I'm wondering if they done the same with devs? Anyone else seen imitations of devs? Either way I just started making Avelone write an RPG called "My liitle pony', with romance as the topic.

Yeah its the Bioware travelling circus all over again. Nah, it's nowhere near that level. There aren't 10 active topics about romances/sex etc. Also the posters aren't accusing the devs of killing their first born children..... Yet. There isn't too much stuff to talk about currently, the 'calm before the storm'. Now when some posters realizes PE isn't going to match up with whatever dream they thought up, that's when the crap storm and fun comes.

If a character evokes any emotion from me it's a win for the writer. Hate, like, annoyance, interest, it makes no difference. The only thing a writer doesn't want is apathy. Games/stories need characters we dislike/find annoying just as much as ones we like.

I changed it over there to the sleepy rat too, for consistency's sake. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Mars: War Logs. With the 20% voucher I got it for 16 bucks flat at Green Man Gaming. At that price my curiosity and love of sci-fi overrode my tightfistedness. I've played it for about an hour so far and I've already had more fun with it than my recent foray into MMO Land. ***Grain Of Salt Alert! Super Small Sample Size*** * It looks a lot like Rage, though not nearly as graphically good. * The fighting and RPG systems are sort of like something along the lines of The Witcher 2. * Graphic and production values are really good for a 20 dollar download only indie game, though not AAA. * Voice acting ranges from bad to halfway decent. * Crafting system seems decent, though not overly deep. Again, I'm barely scratching the surface, so all these thoughts are based on very little gameplay and extremely subject to change, but I'm enjoying this Rage/The Witcher 2 mashup so far. For a budget title, it seems quite good so far. Hopefully it stays that way throughout. Sounds interesting, will have to take a closer look.

Eador Masters of a Broken world. enjoyable game, but don't expect a quick game. 2nd campaign map with two lords, 6hrs later and still have a lord to beat. Given the potential number of shards, this is going to be a long game.

Are you playing standard or with mods? Vanilla. Are there any mods you want to recommend? I thought about playing with X-Tended again, but I did that last time. Depends on your goals for this playthrough. Are you going legit trader, Mogul, police/BH? I like to use the X3 Rebalance Mod , however that requires a fresh start, so that's out, but one to remember for next time. Bounce mod, if you intend to use AI to control other ships you own. Commercial Agent MK3 Improvement Reloaded Mobile Mining Mk2 (MM Mk2) v1.05 [TC][AP][sCR] That's a few that I use when doing a trader playthrough. Don't forget the X3TC Bonus Pack available from the egosoft website.

After watching the BF4 trailer(who plays BF for the SP?), I'll be interested to see how bio uses the Frostbite 2 engine for DA3. Hopefully we will see the dropping of the style DA2 used.

I bought PS:T last of all the IE games because the cover art didn't really appeal to me. Unlike IWD and BG2 (which I bought based on playing BG1), I picked PST off the shelf and ultimately put it back. The cover didn't appeal to me. I went back and read reviews then went and bought the game because postive reviews and by that point I'd enjoyed IWD and BG2. But that cover art really didn't do anything positive for me. I'm pretty sure I read an interview somewhere, about how some devs thought PS:T cover put people off the game.

This is a joke right? TW won't be giving EA sleepless nights. Now if bethesda announced FO4 in a similar release window, that would do it. Remember EA is about sales, and while TW3 has a good chance of being critically better received than DA3, it won't sell as well.
