  1. It is just a candidate status, the full integration will take 10 years minimum, if the war stops tomorrow. We were in the same category, years ago, corrupt as ****, and the change of the government helped to get us into the EU. Th government at UA has already changed for a little bit better, but the corruption will need to be rooted out a lot. And to be honest, having the Slovak and Hungarian ancestors... If Slovakia and Hungary can stay in EU, so can UA...
  2. The issue with Minsk was, that the Russia itself was never interested in that deal, due to it being against their imperial interests... The war with Putin acting as a Peter the Great of 21th century, the war would happen sooner or later. The later it would happen, the more would be Ukraine destroyed, due to Putin had more chance to modernize their army with NordStream 2 profits... The report on Russia says exactly the same doom and gloom for them, as soon as Russians get back home after the summer vacations, and will be hit with the ****ty reality at home
  3. Yakuza is the bestest OPEN WARLD EVAH!!! Despite taking place just in one single city quarter.
  4. And Another Giveaway on GOG today. Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. https://www.gog.com/en/news/claim_your_copy_of_shantae_and_the_pirates_curse
  5. In a report by Czech volunteers fighting in Ukraine, they have decided after two months to talk about what they seen... Under the guise of humanitarian aid in Borodianka, a village close to Bucha, Russian army organized a gathering of people. After "enough" of them gathered, they started to throw grenades towards them... Kadyrovites did even worse atrocities to patients in Mental Health Hospitals... And then we are wondering, why some of the people have opinion, that Russia needs to be bombed back to the Stone Age...
  6. Well, still no Bruce, if the dev has an issue at making 1 small area in Maryland not boring, I have my doubts, that they will be able to deliver us nonboring 1000 planets
  7. I do not believe that this is enough of an excuse to not put an excess amount of monetization into it... you know all of the pesky e-sporters have all of that money from their sponsors, which needs to be taken advantage of On more serious note, there are already a lot of e-sport games, which have excessive monetization, like Clash of Clans.
  8. Third playthrough of Journey on my PS3 is behind me. The plan was to find as much companions as possible and to get last symbol for the golden trophy. Well, I found 4 companions, but clumsy me missed the symbol again At least, I was able to finish the game with one of these companions, and got at least one trophy for that
  9. Well, Diablo Immortal should give a hint
  10. Oh, and Russian Army destroyed approx 300 thousands tons of Wheat in Mykolaiv silos few days ago. This means, that even if Ukraine would be able to get all of the wheat out of the country today, there will be not enough of wheat to feed all of the Africa and Asia. Russian trolls are already working hard on narrative to blame Ukraine for this. Some insights on this tactics by Timothy Snyder.
  11. Some bad news and some good news... Let's start with the bad... On some places Russians were able to cross Siverskyi Donets, which will make defense on some places much harder for Ukraine. And Sievierodonetsk is still a ****ing mess. But As I have mentioned few days ago, Ukraine is allegedly defending exactly as I have predicted. (from a source which has been marked as credible, by a journalist, whom I know as a very trustworthy person.) Zelenskyi have officially release number of Ukrainian casualties during since the start of the war. It is now approximately 10 thousands, with 100-200 soldiers dieing per day in Donbas (IMHO this daily number is probably over inflated and used to get more weapons to UA as soon as possible. Who knows...) Even if these numbers are real, they are still lower than the casualties of Russian Army around Sievierodonetsk. According to Luhansk Oblast Head of military administration, Russia was forced to withdraw Buryat units, due to extremely high casualties. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/06/9/7351558/ Now for some good ones: In Zaporizhia Oblast, the frontline was pushed 5-7kms to the south. The exact width of this counter-attack has not been revealed, but it has definitely happened south of Zaporizhia City. - Source Mayor of Melitopol. It seems, that UA started counteroffensive at the whole front in Kherson Oblast. General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine today confirmed so far 1 village liberated, and three stormed by their army, but according to the above "WarMonitor", UA today liberated approx 20 villages, and are attacking in three directions. He summarized some data from open and closed sources and made some maps to illustrate the counteroffensive. I am really curious about the official information from UA General Staff. The most interesting info, that I have found on many Ukrainian official and unofficial sources is, but no official General Staff report released yet. The UA artillery destroyed the "hive" of Wagner PMC at Stakhanov (Kadiivka) Stadium deep in "Luhansk People's Republic" south of Lysychanks and east of Bakhmut. Casualties are approximately between 250-300. (Kadiivka is for some reason romanized name of Стаханов (Stakhanov). Pro-Ukrainian source: Pro-Russian source:
  12. Now wonder, that it has such an "overwhelming" user scores everywhere

  16. Oh noes, looks like Keyrock has been abducted by SonicMage, and he started to spam trailers with his account!
  17. Official media take on the last of my tweets: https://www.rferl.org/a/putin-compares-ukraine-war-to-peter-the-great-conquests/31891916.html
  18. This one is interesting, but I have found no way for confirming it yet. Also, Russian Duma has got law about abolition of recognition of Lithuania. And Putler is talking in interview, about historical justification for attacking Ukraine, how they "rightfully" seized what was theirs before, despite world recognizing it as Sweden (Estonia in this case).
  19. @Darkpriest Found this one yesterday, and I have noticed, that we all are forgetting, while posting doom and gloom, about the impact of high food prices on relationship between Russia and China. Looks like the biggest exporter of wheat to China was actually Ukraine, and the soaring prices of food in China are much much higher domestic security problem, than soaring prices in the West. And this might force China to make some unexpected move. So the attrition war planned by Putin, might completely destroy his cooperative relationship with China, before affecting the West to much.
  20. Now I have seen, that even countries which are not cut-off from Russia have dramatically lowered their consumption of gas. And this started to happen even before the start of the war. E.g. Czech Industry have lowered their consumption by 10% alone. So I would presume, that Peskov is as always lying through it's teeth, because Russia probably already knows, that cutting off even more of their gas to EU, would lead to closing down some of their digs, which could be in some circumstances irreversible, or burning even more gas in Siberia. From what I heard, they already burned approx. 5% of mined gas before the war, due to them trying to lower the gas supplies to EU. And there is this funny fact, that Yamal pipeline flows only to EU and nowhere else. Which is approximately 50-70% of all of Russian gas export...
  21. Sievierodonetsk is pretty big mess with or without propaganda from both sides. Of course the Ukraine is Outgunned there, as Russia put in Donbas 50% of all soldiers in Ukraine, despite that, I would not say that Ukraine counteroffensive was messy at all. They tactically retreated from city, and Russia being "happy" for easy victory, with probably most of their soldier being on vodka, the next day Ukraine obliterated them, including one whole tiktok kadyrov unit. They just shelled the hell out of them by artillery from Lysychansk, which is on high ground. Then they stormed the units in chaos, fully knowing, that they will have to retreat in day or two again back to the Insustrial quarter of the city. Unless Russia takes down Lysychansk as well, the same stuff will be probably repeating next few days/weeks.
  22. Sigh, indeed there is again a need for my doublepost But I've found Interesting summary on the web of lies by Kremlin since 2008 Feel free to read whole conversation to see more
  23. Well sometimes I try to watch Al Jazeera (qatar), and WION (india), which try to offer sometimes least skewed angle at the conflict. The true middle ground would be possible to find only maybe after 10 or so years after the end of the conflict... And on completely unrelated way to your question, to avoid doublepost, I have found this interesting rumour As always, impossible to confirm this from any Russian source, unless you know someone, who is willing to risk 15 years of jail Allegedly Volodya had thrown some very naughty words at Xi and Lapdogvrov
  24. @Darkpriest An op-ed on the oil situation by the ex-chancellor of my ex-political party (I left few months ago, when he was removed from his position, by non-transparent means) It supports my conclusion from the Deutsche Well video I shared you, few days ago, where I have mentioned, that it is not in the interest of Saudi Arabia, to have very high oil prices for a very long time. (Google translated) "THE TIME OF THE STONE WAS NOT ENDED MANY THAT THE STONES ARE OUT Or, as Russia's economic destiny is largely in the hands of the Saudis, and why it doesn't suit the Saudis when the Russians mine little and oil prices are too high. The popular story of Russian trolls and their useful idiots tells how Russia will easily find a market for its oil after European sanctions. The reality is that their production is declining because European consumption cannot replace Russia. This creates a hole in the market that someone will have to fill. And either the OPEC oil cartel countries or the United States. The Champions League of International Diplomacy takes place here. Because: Saudi and the Middle East, in particular, are fabulously rich in high oil prices However, it is not in the interest of the Saudis that prices be too high in the long run. At high prices, it pays for Americans to extract shale oil. The Saudis just have to tuck the mallet into the sand and oil will gush out. Therefore, their mining costs are around three dollars per barrel. Shale oil production is expensive and worthwhile when the price of oil is at least around $ 40 per barrel. American capitalism is relentless. The market has a free hand, and when oil prices fell to historic lows last time during a pandemic ($ 11 a barrel, thanks to the OPEC-Russia oil war, that's another evening), about 46 shale oil companies rumbled (went bankrupt). which left behind an ax of $ 56 billion. At $ 120 a barrel, however, their time is up again. With such a margin, it is an investor's dream. The last thing the Saudi want is for American miners to re-run and flood the world with shale oil, cutting them off their market pie again. Saudi people have a lot of oil. So much and for so long that they "threaten" them that they won't have time to sell it all. The developed world, the largest buyers of oil, is moving away from fossil fuels, and once, in a relatively short future, perhaps sometime in 2050, the time will come when no one will care. Because the Stone Age did not end because the stones ran out. Even the era of fossil fuels will not end due to the shortage of fossil fuels (although the Moon predicted something different ten years ago). That is why the Saudi need to mine a lot and ideally at the best possible prices in terms of a gold average price. However, if prices are too high, American drillers will tear them off their cake. If prices are too low, they will not earn enough to save in the future to buy more English football clubs. CONCLUSION: HOW DOES RUSSIA? Current prices are too high for the Saudis. And it's only a matter of time before they let the tap down and oil prices return to some "normal" pre-crisis levels. And how will it affect the Russians? So that they get even less money for their oil, which they no longer have to sell to anyone than before. Easy math: a lot of oil sold, for a lot of money = a lot of money for war excesses and keeping the population in check through social packages. Little oil sold, little money = the collapse of an economy built on oil exports."
  25. The same can be said about Kadyrovites too. And they still get better treatment, and that pisses of the Buryats.
