Has PoE1 turnbased patch available already? Itching to replay it sooner or later, but I do not want to start before the TB patch.

I have booted today my first playthrough of XCOM: Enemy Unknown (2012). I have purchased this some time ago, but never had the mood to boot it up. For now, it seems to me likeable. There are some things, which did not hit the right spot for now (the start up of the game feels slow paced to me - Normal Difficulty), so I hope it will get better lately.

Do you need Riot Launcher for playing beta?

I am now in a same pickle, I am not "able" to boot anything, even though I know, that as soon as I start one of the games, which are on my backlog, I will have a great time. But the mood is just not there... For now, I am just enjoying organizing some Fighting Games tournaments again, despite it being only once in a month.

Well, as someone who I know said, "It's game about vampires, it's supposed to suck." 😛

Goal nr. 7/2025 August 24, 14:45 – I have been lately busy at work, so I have decided, that I need some easygoing experience, so I have purchased Hero of the Kingdom on GOG and finished it over the weekend. It was exactly what I have needed. Playing with tempo of your own, no stress, just clicking with a mouse to start and finish quests and to gather materials. And as a bonus, I found out, that it was made in Slovakia . A little bit over 7 hours was needed to get all of the achievements in the game.

Tales of Xiliia Remaster will be released in October 25. I was so hyped for this, but this time no PS4 version, and as always Bamco ignores GOG. Steam will be probably ridden by Denuvo again, so unfortunately, this will be 1st Tales of game released in the West, which I will have to skip

Clive Barker’s books were always one of my favourites, to bad it is almost impossible to get them here Hopefully this will not put any stains on his work.

Yeah, I can definitely recommend to you to try it out. If not for full price, then after some discount. The biggest issue is IMHO, that even the most chronic SF6/Tekken8 complainers who actually do not think bad about CotW, are just rather sticking with the game they complain about all day long, than give it a more thorough chance. Especially here in Central Europe. EWC 2025 had more than 20k viewers watching Top8 broadcast on YT and Twitch, so it has potential to grow. Just people need to be less stubborn and try it out. The game has also pretty steep learning curve, but if almost 50 years old guy with ****ty reflexes can win some Ranked matches, everyone can 😄

The balance of CotW, despite few visible outliers as S Tier Kain and F Tier Tizoc is pretty good. So I hope, that the Ken will be no exception and will bring a little bit more people to the flock. The game is really fun to play and watch for me, despite me being bad 😅 The average wait time for me dropped from 30 to 60 seconds, which is still OK, if you are waiting in training lobby. Also, it seems, they made the matchmaking a little bit better in latest patches, I am getting more console people, but with the similar ranks, previously, I was getting more PC people but waaaay about me.

And Fatal Fury has new DLC character trailer. Released probably at some point in August.

With the last patch released through the patcher 2000 years ago, I have created my own the "critical rebuild" patch for OC, XP1 and XP2 (similar to NWN1 official critical rebuild patches). Because I have pretty much knew, that it would end lost in the internet limbo.

Goal nr. 6/2025 achieved July 7, 00:45 – Star Ocean: The Divine Force has been finished today on Galaxy Difficulty on my PS4. My first playthrough has been done with Raymond and it ended with Laetitia's ending. The 6th game had IMHO the best story of the last three games for "modern" consoles, but on the other hand the Galaxy Difficulty has felt so easy, that I felt sometimes boredom, when the story has not been moving forward in a timely manner. Thankfully it has changed a little bit before the end, when at some areas even some mobs had made me a little bit of trouble. But this was also a side-effect of replacing a dedicated party healer with another party member, which would be almost impossible to do in previous games, as the healing items has been always pretty expensive. The only thing which I had to watch out for, was to purchase enough of them every time, I have visited a city. In the end I had enough fun to recommend the game to anyone who likes JRPGs, as it is worthy addition to Star Ocean franchise, but keep in mind, you should start at Universe Difficulty to enjoy it better.

Well, that was pretty much the MS strategy since the founding of the company 🤷‍♂️

More Fatal Fury. I am getting asskicked a lot, but somehow I am still having enough fun to play it. I can have a pretty nice fight against C-ranked opponents, but I always end up failing for some bait, so in the end I lose the match, but it is not so one-sided anymore. The matchmaking is still pretty fine, and I am getting matches every 30-45 seconds on average, which is not bad. But I am now lately getting more higher ranked opponents, so my win rate dropped to 24%

It will be definitely Elon Musk. He heard, that they are censoring cleavage mods and he can't allow that in Free America!
