And what about Divine Era? This could give some sense to me as well
-
Is not the something like "Save Memory State" function viable for PC gaming as it is viable for console emulators?
-
google translate says Numen = god, Era = goddess :D
-
It's same and different at same time, hard to explain... but atm playing mostly Pathfinder Society Scenarios and the one I have chosen so far, have mostly enemies not very common in the games I played before... might change sooner or later...
-
I do not know, I never played 3.5 because it was ridiculously expensive in Slovakia, but after I started to play this with 4 of my friends, who never played something like this before (CPRGs not counting), most of them fell in love with the game and brought 2 more people to the table... It is not the same but very similar, and melee classes are more powerful at higher levels compared to 3.5... That is all I can tell about it after DMing it for 4 months...

Maybe you are right, but I do not believe my mail to Microsoft would had been read by the responsible person for this deal... HBS is smaller company, so there is bigger chance, the right people will see it...
-
Why is that? You can still back the game and get a DRM free version, as well as the expansion, all patches, and even mods. By doing so you aren't supporting DRM in any way, quite the opposite, you are directly supporting the developer and allowing them to circumvent what Microsoft really wants them to do. Because HBS is now only offering Pre-Orders and not anything like slacker-backer stuff... I will not risk my 75USD for the collector's edition I wanted, just to find out, that it will be Steam only... I have also written an email directly to HBS informing them about my dissatisfaction and lost sale... EDIT: @Humanoid... It was not stated in pre-orders few weeks ago, that you are getting only Steam key... Fortunately for me, I spent to much money on tabletop gaming in March, so I decided to wait for my next paycheck... I ended up very disappointed, but at least I saved 75USD...
-
Actually the update makes it pretty clear that only backers will receive non-DRM copies, as Microsoft seems to be making an exception for them. edit: They also say all preorders get the Steam version, not the DRM free one. If that is the case, unfortunately no sale for HBS :/ I am ****ing dissapointed...
-
Now I hate you, because you brought me back very traumatic memories from my younger age... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk7Sxpmr7wI Numa, numa iei at you back

No answer in FAQ about non-backer ability to buy non-DRM version :/

Playing with Excel... Trying to make a report for my boss... The gameplay is boring and repetitive, but very long... Man I sometimes wish I was careless teenager again :-/
-
I don't give a **** about MS... And cloud is not exactly what a man understands under the term "add-on"...
-
Why to make an extra hassle with browsing suspicious websites, when there are other developers willing to sell you DRM free option available out of the box? I am just rewarding with my purchases companies who offer me hassle-less entertainment... Free market at work
-
That I can live with. I'm still not buying and XBOX720, but that's reasonable. I wish Sony would sell extra addon for BC for PS3 and PS4 consoles as well... I would gladly buy them...
-
For that reason, me and most of my friends started to play last two years tabletop games... No DRM, awesome social content and never ever server maintenance... Besides, circumventing DRM is legal here, if you have proof of your purchase...

http://penny-arcade.com/report/article/blizzard-admits-diablo-3s-auction-houses-hurt-the-games-rhythm-both-sides-w Diablo 3 devs speak, that Real Money auction house was a mistake...

Not fair... same price inferior product :/ I really loved the alpha footage, and the option to pay full price for a DRM-free game without any possibility to buy future content for the game feels to me as a kick in the nuts for many backers Changing the wording from DRM-free to Steam distributed, with the option of one-time-only Berlin update of your DRM-free version for backers so close to the release, just makes me less-likely funding any future kickstarter projects... 4.30 am here... CBA to rewrite all the wording in proper english... hopefully you get what I mean after reading the random words...
-
Now I am happy that I have waited with my preorder... wanted the collector's edition, but I can wait few more months if it will be available on GoG.com as well or not... If not, I just wait for the Wasteland 2, which hopefully will not make the same stunt like HBS...

*sighs*

Nice April fools played with you then :D I have made another playthrough of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 - fourth so far, got some new rare weapons and a Planeptune ending in the end Now few days without gaming ahead of me, because of business trips
-
$125... for physical tier... hopefully I will be satisfied in the end
-
Just finished Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 for third time, with Conquest ending route... Pretty sad ending Dunno what to play next... probably, I'll prepare some Pathfinder RPG modules for next few weeks, and then probably another walkthrough of FFXIII-2 or Atelier Rorona...

If you have problems with remembering what is happening in the long games, try to do the same thing most of us did 20 years ago - playing with notepad and writing small notes, some games have now even editable in-game logs. It works like a charm, and it helps more and more the older you are
-
Yup, but I was not comparing it to Sim City anyway, I was just answering your question with the first game, which came to my mind No need to bash EA further, they are doing a good job by themselves
-
Yes it is multiplayer, but the question was about online only game, not online only SP game AAAAnd comparing it with CS is wrong, because CS can be played offline, because you can play solo with bots, which is not case for TF2 AFAIK... (correct me if I am wrong)... And I have seen lot of MP only games played offline at some LAN parties as well, because some guys were bright enough to cut-off the online requirements of these games with a Razor or two and brought handmade dedicated server
