Heh, you might just have to. The Souls games aren't easy, as you might have heard, so getting a little bit of practice before Dark Souls 2, a game which I think might be a step harder, might help out a bit. Dark Souls *is* fantastic though. It's very atmospheric, has great substance-over-style type of combat, a whole load of playstyle choices, it has an open world where all levels are connected even if they look drastically different from one another, interesting lore that's not in your face but hidden in dialog and item descriptions, amazing level and monster design, a lot of secrets, etc. That'd be the case for me even if the PvPers weren't a bunch of cheaters, because my Dualshock 3 occasionally disconnects from my PC, and in Dark Souls, that can mean death even if you manage to reconnect in 3 seconds. So I guess I'll just have to pick up the PS3 version of Dark Souls 2. Bit of a pity That's not a pity, that's one of the best investments I have ever made But for some reason, which I am unable to explain, I liked Demon's Souls more...

Hmm I do not know if anyone here plays anything like this, but Card Hunter - interesting free to play browser game - just got released few days ago... http://www.cardhunter.com/game-info/ It is still few days pretty slow due to pretty hard traffic

And of course without localization to English

Now if they remove with this move the Online only portion for Singleplayer as well, I might finally purchase the game and expansion as well...

God you're so full of **** it's not even funny anymore. Nobody gets any money from a PB download. The publisher/developer get's his money when you legally buy their game first. How do you apply your patches to your legally bought software is up to you and up to the customers rights granted to you by the law of the country where are you living. You should learn more about the universals laws of european union or you get shafted a lot in the future ;-) PS. Nobody gets a money from buying CD key from some russian site, too. And it's again the EULA of Steam, you have agreed upon, when creating Steam account. The legality of said EULA in many EU countries is questionable, but no one yet challenged it at court yet. And until it is challenged, it is a valid document. And doing anything outside of the coverage of this document is indeed copyright infringement or breaching the license agreement. Have a nice day ;-)

I always find it amusing when people are willing to crack their games and in exchange waive all the patches that come through the Uplay client. Guess some people prefer to be stuck with a buggy Alpha version. You know, the "shady" guys are offering most of the time post release support as well Some of them even at better quality, than the publishers Why do you advocate piracy? You do not know that making backup copy and circumventing DRM of your legally purchased copy of your software is completely legal in the whole European Union? It's in legal terms the same to download patch from Steam as to download the DRM circumvented patch from other "shady" site, if you are legal owner of the software. It has absolutely nothing to do with piracy. It's called fair use...

Looks like not yet http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/126587-Report-Sega-Interested-in-Buying-Atlus Newest news are from 5th August 20 buyers interested. 203 million USD highest bid. I was very satisfied with all japanese games published by SEGA last few years. I do not care about multiplatform western developed shiets like Colonial Marines, so for me, SEGA would be among the best possible buyers of Atlus. Maybe Atlus guys would then finally localize Yakuza 1-2 HD and Yakuza 5 for the west.

Japanese SEGA games which have been localized and released in the west are actually not bad... Think Yakuza, Binary Domain, Resonance of Fate, etc etc... They still need to better manage their western developed releases though... Colonial Marines speak enough for all these games... The only problem I see now, is that it is possible that even less japanese games will be localized after this buyout Which would be big shame and disappointment, if that will be the case...

Dunno like yours, but my room services at various hotels never get over 10% of bill for a room And I doubt, that anyone would be able to make 400000 USD bill in a week to match the price Well anyone except Charlie Sheen of course...

Believe it or not, I met many women going around in winter with naked waist (not sure if this is the right english word for the body part...) and have absolutely no clue, that it could permanently damage their kidneys... all they care about, is that it makes them more sexy in winter.... and I am talking about winters with temperatures fit for snow... /sigh

That's how I remember DA, no real death unless the whole party is defeated. But are you sure you can't die in PE, that concerns me IIRC, death in PE only occurs with certain option boxes checked, otherwise you take a knee except in cases of a TPW. I know Ironman offers permadeath and only 1 save that will self delete but I think the one setting down from that (Trial of Iron?) also offers death but you can reload. There is no resurrection magic in PE so death is permanent. And that is how a game should be designed. If players want permadeath, give him checkbox, if player wants health-regen, give him that option... I just refuse to believe, that implementing one variable for health/mana regen ON/OFF would make the game go over the budget...

Just finished Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. I liked the combat most of the series, but kinda think there was to many cutscenes... hmm maybe I am getting impatient with higher age... And right after that, did mega fast runthrough Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 for Lastation Ending... Need only one more playthrough and I can fully complete the game
