  1. CD Project Red in direct has nothing in common with GoG. But they have the same parent company afaik.
  2. Ooooooooooooooooh those DS9 shirts... @.@Extra Credits opened up Pandora's Lootbox, then shook it until controversy fell out. Well in my oppinion, games should not cost more than 30USD. And I guarantee, I can put as much stuff out of my ass to support my argument, as any other guy.Looks like Jim Sterling decided to invest some of his time, put some facts out of his ass, and saved a trouble for me and many others, to give just a different oppinion, why AAA games are “so expensive to make” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kIPNckHDN8 EDIT: How in the hell it is possible, when I post video on this board, that in one case the link automatically converts to video thumbnail, and in other case it just transforms into url tag... can someone explain me?
  3. Loading times changed (unconfirmed being Denuvo or the patch itself). Performance impact? Zero. See, resident board idiots? Instead of blaming all the bugs and performance issues in the world on Denuvo, how about you actually test it first? Source: https://www.techpowerup.com/241144/ci-games-silently-removes-denuvo-4-0-from-sniper-ghost-warrior-3 When you say A you should say also B. "This was expected to a certain degree taking into account that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a GPU intensive title after all. It might be a different story with games like Watch_Dogs 2 or Assassin's Creed Origins, since they are more demanding on the processor." In other words, so also you understood it. Because we board idiots can understand it easily... in this game the bottleneck is GPU. So even if you make by any miracle your CPU processes 10x faster, you will not increase any performance, because the bottleneck of the preformance is *drumroll* GPU. Edit2: also I do not see any mention of trying to reproduce well know bugs in the testing environment with and without DeNuvo. Without this debugging, any "evidence" of not impacting performance is by no means any real evidence, just another "controversial" article about DRM on the internet. For me the significant reduce of loading times is pretty much good enough hint, that DeNuvo indeed negatively impacted the CPU usage during processes, which are not using GPUs for their acceleration...
  4. How shocking!!! A good game has good sales. And without Games as a Service bull****. Who would ever thought about that!!!
  5. When we came to the state, that MS buying another publisher on their way to world domination, is considered as a good thing, it says a lot about the current AAA gaming production :-D
  6. Hahahaha The next step in evolution of Rhytm Games :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpMUKRR01Tc EDIT: OMG... and it is made in Czech Republic by studio with roots in Slovakia :D
  7. After a looooooooong time in my backlog, I have finally finished Shadowrun Dragonfall Director's Cut for the first time. Took me around 41hours and 30 minutes or so. At the start, I kind of did not liked the pacing as much as in the first game, but after I got to the second half of the game, I started to have a blast! The story and also the side missions have started to slowly unveil the plot and the road to the ending was for me full of adrenaline (despite it being turn based game) and hard choices on how to proceed. My character choice for first blind playthrough was Orc Physical Adept with low Charisma and Intelligence, with Gang Etiquette. And he was kind of greedy and naive, but still good in heart, so I have made according to that few choices, with which my party have not agreed, and if they would be real people, they would be facepalming all the time :D I had lots of fun, despite being able to play it only during the weekends, and now I understand, why Shady was questioning my choice of Shadowrun Returns in top 100 2017 :D If you have not played it yet, go for it! I gave it 5 stars on GoG.com
  8. The first game of Utawarerumono is being remade for PS4 and Vita. I know few of you liked the two later installments and might enjoy this one as well. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/01/26/utawarerumono-remakes-first-trailer-shows-off-new-improved-graphics-gameplay/
  9. Happened to everyone who was assimilated by EA. The moment EA bought them, I have put my money elsewhere. I was so excited for DA:O and ME games, when they were announced, but now I am happy, that I have not bought the 1st games in these series. I have saved myself serious disapointments. Anyway. Awaiting from all of you the experience with Monster Hunter World. It is very high on my to buy list this year, but being 4th month on business trip, I have almost no access to gaming outside of few weekend days, so buying it now, would be just for collecting dust, while I am away
  10. I think, I have spent more hours playing Pazzaak, than both KotoRs combined O.o That game was so awesome!!!
  11. "Doubles down" Yet https://www.pcgamesn.com/dragon-age-4/new-dragon-age-game Don’t get to high hopes for DA4... Update from the kotaku article, from this morning... UPDATE (1/25, 9:50am): The day following the publication of this article, BioWare studio head Casey Hudson confirmed that the next Dragon Age will indeed be a live game. “Reading lots of feedback regarding Dragon Age, and I think you’ll be relieved to see what the team is working on,” he wrote on Twitter. “Story & character focused. Too early to talk details, but when we talk about ‘live’ it just means designing a game for continued storytelling after the main story.”

  13. Thinking about MHW, but I have no time to play anything atm. :-/
  14. @Lexx: That's what I hate about all the "modern" open world games. Shallow quest descriptions in log book, so in most cases you have absolutely no clue where to go without all the UI fluff turned on, but when you turn it on, well the game became more boring than corridor walking...
  15. IIRC in Witcher 3, it should be possible to turn most of these "modern" hand-holders off.
  16. They fixed it later again, so I was able to redeem it in the end.
  17. Can’t redeem it :/ it shows nowhere on the frontpage for me :/
  18. As far as I know, the blinking thingies should be programmable as well.
  19. Well, I can't speak Japanese, so I would not be able to enjoy the games as much :/
  20. *sighs* more DS loot, but probably never arrives in the West Dark Souls Trilogy for PS4. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/01/11/dark-souls-trilogy-box-set-announced-exclusively-ps4/
  21. Yeah, no one is arguing about that, but it's still far far away from the statements in the OP about which a lot of people would happily argue
  22. Yes, PC, PS4, Xbone, and Switch.
  23. Man I would love to have "Open World" racing game, with Project CARS or Gran Turismo physics... Would probably never happen Anyway, at some point I have heard, that makers of Project CARS series got some movie license for their next game (rumours says it's Fast and Furious). So there is still some hope for that kind of game. Unless they make it complete arcadey, which given the F&F rumour might be the case :/
  24. On a serious note, just look at the top 100, not a single person voted for it, and almost every other Infinity Engine game got loads of votes. That should give you little bit of an answer. And then, there is a search button, jist search for Dragonspear, and you'll find a lot of posts about the Expansion pack. In this forum, game/expac like this would not get unnoticed. So the Search button, would be the first thing to recommend. You'll get much better answer on the game in the forum, where are people in love with older Infinity games, than from other sites and reviews from people, who compare it to Call of Duty and stuff... EDIT: SoD was here talked to infinity and back to oblivion. After the tons of discussions about the xpac here, and the general outcome out of them, most of the people will see your post as an attempt to troll I've never played it, so I will not comment on the quality, just I can freely say, that I would never pay for it more than 5 bucks after reading all the stuff about it.
