  1. I went pale elf/ mystic origins too but I chose to be a druid because the spiritual nature they have.
  2. Usually use food whenever I need to perform a speech check. Better than fiddling around in my inventory looking for an item that will grant the bonuses I need for that particular moment.
  3. Same here. In a world of zealots and dead babies it is good to have an optimistic person in the party.
  4. After near a week of coughing and short breaths I went to the doctors and have bronchitis. I hope that all of you are in better health than I am.
  5. Today my aunt and uncle and their two tots arrived today. Been playing princess dress up and doctor with the oldest and the youngest still eludes everyone.
  6. If it comes to geographical location, it would be Savannah folk. Rauatai lies north of the the Eastern Reach, and Ixamitl Plains seems to be the most northern country. If anyone from the Ixamitl Plains were to immigrate north Rauatai would be a contender.
  7. Been playing some Jade Empire. It has been a good experience so far with the combat. Some of the dialogue is a little jarring though.
  8. It sounds like an awesome idea. But what sort of classes would there be? I can see classes like warriors and rouges but what about mages?
  9. No problem. I know that in Rauatai Aumaua make their home their but it is also shared by dwarfs and orlans due to its tendency to colonize everything.
  10. Speaking to the choir. I think that they could have been so much more but now it is just muddled.
  11. I see! Could you elaborate a little more, please? I don't mind spoilers, I'm actively seeking them here. You want explanation? That's not a waely thing to do. As it has been said, "What is an answer without a question? May I be dead and my soul scattered to the winds before anyone knows for certain,"
  12. Orlans are originally for Eir Glanfath and can been seen in many parts of the eatern reach. But they are looked down upon can be found in many different place due to the fact they are targets for slavers. Coastal Aumaua (Northern) typically make their home in Rauatai and places around it (Living Lands) . They are considered the most aggressive of the kith and are often hired as mercenaries so I can see them in another land taking up that occupation in another land. Island Aumaua (Southern) mainly make their home in the Deadfire and can be found at locations around it such as the eastern reach. For humans it depends on what sub race you are looking at. Meadow humans are for Aedyr/ Dyrwood Ocean are from Old Valia/ Valian Republics Savanna are found in Ixmitl Plains/ Readcer Both Dwarf races can be found in the Valian Republics. Though Naasitaq is close to the White that Wends and the Deadfire. Pale elves do on occasion make trips to Naasitaq, it would not unreasonable to see their kind in the Deadfire. Wood elves are a bit confusing because they originated for Aedyr and Eir Glanfath. Those are all I can think of at the moment anyways
  13. It mainly depends on the character I play and what one considers as a "good" choice. For example choosing Hylea's option to return souls to the body. It can be seen as the best option for the souls, but this also accounting for an entire generation of parents who have to grieve or worry that they themselves made the wrong choice by killing their hollowborn children. Can it be seen as a good choice? Absolutely, but so can Galawain's option of strengthening the populace, or Bearath's option of restoring balance, or Rymergand's choice to stop the souls toil of a never ending cycle, or even Skean! (for all you know the other god just don't like they have to obey the whims of another). You see how if you play a certain character the god's choices can make sense in some way. As for breaking that promise well lets look at the quest Undying Heritage. Releasing the soul may feel like the best option at the time, but in the ending credits the device is used again and ultimately the district is abandoned for good. The only to ensure that never happens again is to overload the device and destroying the souls within condemning them to oblivion. Would you go against a god's orders and facing their wrath if it meant a brighter future?
  14. I for most of my play through I usually choose Wael. I like Wael in general compared to the other gods at how hand off his interactions with kith are while other kith have more interaction with their gods but do next to nothing in aiding kith. As for Hiravias himself, I truly thought that he found some inner peace when he chooses to fully accept Waels teachings.
  15. Today I finished sorting up my room and flooring. Can finally sleep in my room again. It's good to be home
  16. Raedric is absolutely not crazy. He knows exactly what he is doing. He is a very, very bad man, and a very, very bad ruler. Here's a really easy way to tell the difference between a good ruler and a bad one: good rulers' lands are not on the verge of open revolt and kept in check only by mass indiscriminate public executions. Raedric definitely deserves to die. That doesn't necessarily mean Kolsc deserves to rule, but at least he isn't a mass-murderer. It doesn't matter, though, because regardless of who you pick everyone dies. With that in mind, I would say that killing Raedric is extremely satisfying, especially after he brags about murdering his own wife in cold blood because she tried to keep him from murdering their child, all while he's in the process of squeezing the life out of his people. Do it early on and you even get to do it again later! thanks for all the spoilers. Perhaps avoid looking through the PoE story forum. Try the PoE general discussion, less spoilers. 17. Clearing out my room today, gonna have it stripped tomorrow.
  18. What does blue taste like?
  19. I did some writing, I'm hoping to get a page in today. Also cleaned up around the house. So far been a relaxing day.
  20. When the high abbot dies his soul should appear and you can get what you need to finish the puzzle. If that isn't working, go to his chambers (key can be found on the high abbot or it can be lockpicked). Inside a chest(it is rigged with a trap) is a journal, reading it should get you what you need to complete the puzzle.
  21. Some companions they are not always going to interject into certain conversations. In this case of dlc character, obsidian did make an effort for the dlc companions to give their two cent during scripted interactions. My advice, is try to diversify you party with each play-through. If you don't like the feel of a certain companion or feel it just doesn't fit your party makeup then hold off on using that companion.
  22. Party Based rpgs Simulation Action rpgs Turn based It isn't so much the genre that attracts me to a game (i am biased I love my rpgs),than it is how much I can interject myself into the game. I do from time to time interject usual routine if the game capture my interest in a unique setting or charm that can be found just in that game (Bioshock, Jazz Punk, Passpartout: The Starving Artist).
  23. Favorites -Vampires the Masquerade -Pillars of Eternity -Mass Effect 2 Honorable mentions -Dragon age origins (my introduction to rpgs) -Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates -Overlord
