  1. Damn, so the Inspirations don't counter either? Gesus. It's like a Simpson's where Hans Moleman gently crashes and then his car blows up.
  2. I voted! Well not for all, but most. Great work putting this together! A random thought - maybe at some point ask what a user's top three fixes are, and if you see a pattern, prioritize those. I'm sure leveling up in one go has a chance to be up there.
  3. This quest still bugs me and shows the archaic marriage to old school RPG quest design. First off, it does make some sense the evidence in his room. But nothing at all points you in that direction. Secondly, he doesn't care at all that just go in and take it, which is typical of a cRPG where you can just take everything unless someone is in your line of sight. Furrante just let's anyone in his room with an easy to pick lock? They should be SOME difficulty in obtaining the evidence even after you know it's there. The entire quest feels undercooked.
  4. Try Chanter + Ancient and cast Wild Growth on a summoned Dragon. Ha we need to get some pics in here of some giant mutant beasts.
  5. I think if anything, living at home is much more of a European thing. Parents regularly "kick" their kids out in the US, to give them that extra push. And stop them from having people over ha *I mean didn't happen to me or anything*
  6. Poorly written = buggy. I did encounter a dialogue bug with Serafan where I could ask about Remaro before Serafan brought him up in the initial convo.
  7. Eder is an awesome tank as a Swashy. For a Mage killer I'd go with Eder Rogue or custom Assassin.
  8. I find the White Void helm to be better on Ciphers, but Druids do have nasty body afflictions. You wouldn't run a Nature Godlike Cipher would you ?
  9. So I'd like to throw this in here before the mods get me, but Outward (survival RPG released today) is awesome and worth picking up. More survival and exploration than straight combat, at least initially. Great music too! Since this topic is about Steam and I bought it off Steam, it's relevant
  10. The choice for how you delt with Never Far from the Queen doesnt seem to have any reactivity, violence vs. non-violence and deception. That's a shame bc those were two decidedly different approaches.
  11. Granted I haven't played a Blood Mage, but Empower is so good for a Nuker. Maybe a Blood Mage plays differently, but I couldn't give up Empower. Nature Godlike Ancient is beastly. +1PL Plant / Beast class + PL3 Thicket + 1PL racial Inspiration bonus + 1PL Prestige = profit.
  12. I think the current upgrade system is one of Deadfire's best features. I'd prefer it stay as it is with some marginal improvements. The Thicket Green is a great example, where it can upgraded for different builds.
  13. You seem to have some strange vendetta against this game. No I obviously don't think you're making stuff up, I thought you might of just missed the dialogue. This is clearly not a bug and doesn't belong on this board.
  14. @thelee Not asking to change any mechanics whatsoever, just the ability to use from inventory when outside of combat, such as Potion of Allure, Thief's Putting, Incense, etc. It's a QoL request thats it. In combat I agree with you but that's how the system has always been.
  15. Food is actually quite powerful tho. I really didnt "discover" it until my third playthrough. If you kill one of the whales when sailing through a reef you get 20 - 30 Mahora Meat which is +3 Might. There some other comparable foods too. I'd say they are only really necessary for Splintered Reef and all the charm nonsense.
  16. You can only have one drug at a time so I dont see how this would be changing anything but making life easier for us. It's not like we are asking them to overhaul the drug mechanics. For other consumables, which ones could you exactly exploit? Seems like an arbitrary limitation.
  17. Vanishing Strike, Smoke Screen, Enduring Shadows, and Toxic Strike are all key abilities. It's a stealth DoT focused build.
  18. I agree with Diablo here. It very tedious when you wanna use something like Potion of Allure every so often but don't want to slot it. It's simply adding more steps, nothing of value. I should be able to use a consumable via inventory selection and not just quick slots.
