Need help modding companion appearance
That's the point, i don't think to spend time to support some kinda of modding w/o a devs support. too much invasive and not shareable, even patches broke the files for sure , so other warning for users about that.. Not in my chords, but thnks for have shared your knowledge over other games I have already shared patches of 25-40 GB w/o no issues, but Nexus and neither steam support that. this should require also a patching order (maybe modconfig.json could be the right way ). and btw never touched core files if not in some hard case.

Related to refresh button issue this tool might solve the trouble. But if a sort of mod launcher could be added by OBS for sure this will be more comfortable for all

I don't think you'll be able to add a new race or subrace at the moment. There are a number of things that are based on the enumeration, which you can't easily modify. Thnks to have clarified that . I will try a different approach.

Changing Modwyr to 2H
There are 3 diifferent Modwyr : Sword_Soulbound_Modwyr Sword_Soulbound_Modwyr_Keeps_Soul Sword_Soulbound_Modwyr_No_Soul you have to take care of the following GUID in any of these bundles (WeaponGameData) "Stance" "EquipmentType" "EquipmentSlot" "ProficientAbilityID" "AttackID" take a great sword and use their values as replacement for the Modwyr ones. Apologies if I missed something

Changing Companion Classes And Subclasses: What Must Be Changed Specifically To Turn Eder To A Holyslayer?
It isn't easy to explain.. cuz for each subclasses there are specific abilities that need to be added to any progression table of this character. Hence before make some changes you need to know the specific abilities of this specific subclass and then add them to the right progression tables if you completely change class you have to replace the whole progression table with another one and then add the specific abilities of your subclass choice Isn't just a copy/ paste or replace if you don't know the structure. kilay replied to MaxQuest's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@MaxQuest about your last reply imho is totally doable (passive or active doesn't make difference) even UI isn't a problem .There are a lot of mods that are already adding new abilities w/o issues. about Wilderness Area we can check all the game locations (little time consuming) and make a conditionals that activates the ability only when you are in those places. i have to check maybe they have already a sort of classification About helm i agree and btw you can already wear it on a godlike using Unity Console

I've tried to add a new subrace but i got stuck.. (maybe I wrong something) is possible to add a new SubraceGameData ? seems to me that also a new code for AppearanceVariationSettingsComponent and some tweaks to PT_Racial and CharacterCreationSettings are required but my Q is : are those values hardcoded or can I try to make a new race reusing character models already inside the game ? Thnks
